Fogo de Chao - Minneapolis
Imported prosciutto, calabrese salami, toscana salami, parma ham leg (prosciutto de parma from parma, italy) and spanish chorizo.
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
The taste of comfort is given southern brazilian flair with roasted garlic, drawn butter, cracked pepper, and fresh chives.
Great food. Service was a little slow and our bill came with an error, but they were able to fix it. Definitely not a quick trip when you’re doing the experience, but very good!
First time there and we enjoyed it very much.
Birthday for the wife, it’s even better during the day, gives you enough time to digest before bedtime, and everyone loved the dessert volcano fudge cake for birthday
Enjoyed the salad bar but hard to beat the Fogo de Chao in Sao Palo Brazil! Dude dish’s of plantain and mashed potatoes were good, hot but came a bit early. The meat choices were plenty but generally stayed with the filet cut which I thought to be very good, flavorful and properly grilled. Have been to others in the US and they seem to be rather consistent.
The food and service was both incredible. We had an incredible array of food. I was astounded by the diversity of great food. The meat that came fresh and carved to the table. It was an exceptional experience. I would recommend/go again.
Excellent as always. Wagyu ribeye is worth the money. The flavor is amazing
Food was very good though had to wait for specific requests e.g. wanted meat that was more medium well and well done. Most of the meat that was offered was on the medium to rare/raw side.
First off the dress code said business casual. Lol. People came in shorts and some could have used a shower. The room had a nice cafeteria feel to it but with linen napkins and a noticeable “all you can eat “ clientele. All table served hot side dishes and mini cheese popovers were good. Meat was ok, grilled cheese cubes good, sirloin and pork ribs very good but I had only 1 rib bone and even after asking for them to return no one ever did. Salad bar was subpar. Nothing tasted quite right , for example the watermelon cubes had cheese and mint on it, so it tasted like mint. Why do that to watermelon? Mushrooms were funky and beets were tasteless and not sweet so nothing worthy of a swallow. They offered prosciutto but no melon to pair it with? I think the Waitstaff was hard working. It looked like they all hated their jobs but I finally got one of them to almost crack a smile. It’s a team service so it’s your responsibly to keep waiving servers down to go get another server to get the next bit of your meal instead of enjoying dinner conversation. We spent $600.00 for 5 adults and zero ambiance. If you want to take the family out for a nice meal go elsewhere. We Won’t be back.
We're disappointed with these details, as our team should always be delivering a fine-dining experience with flavorful and delicious meals. We'd love the chance to welcome you back for a better evening. So when you are ready, please join us again.
Once again, such a great crew of gauchos and servers! Jacob and Tanner were awesome- so professional and kind! Patrick, José, Izzy and Panda, went above and beyond! Patrick and José made sure that we had exactly they types of meats we had hoped for! They were so incredibly kind, and took the time to reach out to us, during a busy brunch. Raoul, Leo, and Leandro Perez were also very kind! The gauchos are amazing!
We have special dietary needs and were able to accommodate us easily.
I brought 7 young men in for my son's birthday. We had 2 waiters and they didn't bus the table as the meal went along. They never picked up spent glasses. At the end of the meal the table was littered with them. They did a little better on used plates but at the end of our meal we still had 14 plates for 8 people. I tipped $100 but sat surrounded by garbage. This isn't fine dinning but come on.
Had a great time getting together with friends for a very nice lunch. Staff was very attentive and fun
Food and ambience were good as usual. Only issue is service for side dishes, we got one serving each of mashed potatoes and polenta for a table of 4. Even though we asked twice for more side dishes they completely ignored us. This is the second time this happened to me at this restaurant. Eating just meat without side dishes sort of spoilt an otherwise nice dinner.
You should never be ignored, and we are sorry to hear about the delay regarding your side dishes. Making this up to you is important to our team, so we'll be reaching out via direct message to further address your concerns. Best.
Not as good as I remember. Most cuts were overdone. Did ask and got some of them to our likeness. Had to ask for lamb and few other cuts that never made it around to our table. Salad bar was average at best. Asparagus used to be all large steakhouse size and now lot of small and poorer quality. Got Wagyu ribeye as add on which was good but as our server cut it tableside he dropped one of the slices on the floor. No apologies or mention of it by him (and he realized it). And he left it on the floor the whole meal. No discount given.
Our meals should hit the spot every time, so we're disappointed to hear that we missed the mark. We'd hate for this to be your only visit, so please consider returning in the future when you are ready.
We were disappointed with the lack of service after we were seated and placed our orders. We were celebrating an event and were told we would receive a complimentary dessert but no one ever came around or even asked if we wanted any dessert. We had to flag down an employee (not our "servers") to get our check.
My wife and I were celebrating our 12 year anniversary. The food was awesome. This is our 3rd straight year celebrating our anniversary @ Fogo. We’ll be back next year.
Recently celebrated Step-Son's 21st Birthday. Was a fun and memorable experience. Our server Tanner, was amazing and the candor kept us all laughing. The food was delicious and the promptness was on point with the rest of the wait staff. Definitely a must try, is the 46 Shot!
U give credit to the service girl. We had good fun
The gauchos made our experience excellent! They were so friendly, accommodating, professional, and attentive! And, the food was fantastic! We would like to recognize some of the gauchos, as well as another staff member, named Mel. Mel was very kind, and checked in on us several times. José made sure we had the right type of meats, cooked the way we had requested. He went above and beyond, and was so kind! Luis was also excellent! We also really appreciated John Alan “Panda,” Izzy, Kevin, Leandro Perez! They were all fantastic! And, customer service manager, Christian, was also excellent! Thank you to this awesome crew- you made our experience very special! We look forward to coming back sometime!
It was great just ate to much !!! lol
Great food! Pretty pricey but nice for a special occasion.
We went there for celebrating my son's graduation. Every one was soooo enjoy it. We had FUN there. Will come again soon!
We are glad you had such a great time, and we are honored to have been your choice to celebrate your son's graduation. If there is anything we can do to ensure your next visit is worthy of 5-stars, please let us know. Warm Regards.
Phenomenal 10/10 recommend to anyone and it was very reasonably priced.
First off I’d like to suggest that this is NOT a place to have an anniversary dinner. Despite telling the restaurant via Open Table that we were celebrating, there was not a single offer of congratulations. Disappointing.
The food was pretty okay but for the prices we spent it wasn’t worth it. The meat wasn’t too bad but as others have mentioned it is heavily salted. The sides were all pretty good but again this was nothing new or amazing that I couldn’t have gotten at any other steak house for cheaper prices.
The ambiance was crazy busy. It really felt like a glorified Old Country Buffet with all the moving parts. This was not a place for any conversation because it was just too busy. We knew that was probably the case but often times the workers just seemed to be running around and it created a chaotic atmosphere. Also didn’t love being upsold at my table with apps and very expensive Cognac.
I can’t give this restaurant many positive comments. I think they started off on wrong foot but not even recognizing we were celebrating an occasion. I’m not sure if that was their fault or Open Table but I’ll still hold them accountable. For the prices we spent they could have offered a free app or desert or at least said “congratulations”.
You should always enjoy your anniversary celebrations with us, Shawn, so we're sorry to hear we missed the mark. We'd love to work towards your satisfaction, so we'll be sure to send you a direct message. Thank you.
Celebrated Birthday. Was a great time
Service was horrible. It appeared as though the server had no experience in the food service industry. He was confused with a simple cocktail order, did not know his wines or was not at all familiar with the restaurants wine list and offerings. He forgot many things from the beginning of the experience to the end of the experience
We noticed many of what appeared to be managers simply standing around the bar area just talking. They are not appearing to check in with guests on their current experience nor directing the flow of the guests’ experience.
We will not return and will post our experience to friends on social media. For what they are charging for their “full experience”, it was only partially met. We would have been better going to Perkins.
We apologize for such an experience, as professional and attentive service is what we love to deliver every guest. Our team hopes you award us another chance down the line, as we know we can earn your 5-stars.
We've enjoyed dining at Fogo de Chao multiple times in the past, but this time was an absolute disappointment! To begin, the plates at the salad bar were dirty and we had to wait for clean plates to be brought out. Then we spent upward of 20 minutes at a time with empty plates waiting for the gauchos to offer whichever meat they were serving. When asked which cuts we were interested in, they never arrived. In fact one gaucho (serving the picanha) seemed to go out of his way to avoid our table. When we did get to eat it was delicious and I highly recommend trying the bottom sirloin, but there were at least 5 different meats I noticed were available that never made it to our table.
We understand your disappointment, as we should always be serving you the meals and service you have come to expect. We'll be sure to send you a direct message shortly, as we'd love to regain your support.
They were out of food at salad bar, no plates, never received plates for meat service, never brought around all of the meat for example beef ribs, despite our request. Very busy on Father’s Day which is expected but this service was a disappointment especially at the price. We had a party of 10 to celebrate the dads. We’ve been many times but this was a bad experience.
Kris, we're truly sorry to hear we disappointed you by falling short of your expectations, as we always want to deliver you the experience you know and love. It is our hope that you visit us down the line, as we'd hate for you to stay away.
The hard working and friendly team at FOGO Mpls made Father’s Day extra special!
Father’s Day brunch was understaffed and not the magical experience I used to get years ago. I begged for drinks and desserts. I asked for the check. I waited and waited and eventually called the restaurant from my table asking for service. 10 minutes go by and still nobody came. Never got my desserts. Went home thirsty and extremely dissatisfied and disappointed because the food is so good. It would have been nice if they could have brought it to us.
There’s just no waiter system. Nobody writes down orders and everything gets forgotten. Bathrooms were messy.
We always want you to receive the Fogo de Chão experience that you know and love, so it's disappointing to learn we let you down. We'd love the chance to work towards your satisfaction, so we will be in touch via direct message. Warm Regards.
Wonderful service, great tasting food!
The buffet area was very crowded but well maintained.
Thanks for the kind words! We hope to serve you again soon!
Thanks Armando for great service! This was our first time at your restaurant and we had an excellent experience. We will be back! Thanks!
Absolutely fabulous! Beautiful restaurant, excellent food and the service was outstanding! I’ll definitely come back!
Once again we were treated like royalty. Thank you so much to Armando and Justin. They both went above and beyond for us.
Fantastic atmosphere, incredible service, and amazing food with endless options, all presented artfully and cooked to perfection
We celebrated an anniversary dinner here, and the staff took extra care of us during our meal. They shared a special dessert with us for the occasion.
The restaurant was very busy for a Sunday evening and our bill was the highest I’ve seen in a long time, without entertainment.
We have been so many times it's like a broken record when I write. The food was good as always. But for myself and my family we go because of the staff. They, the staff, are such wonderful people. Yes, Fogo is pricey; but they way they treat us. Every time we go, we are treated as if we are the owners. The management has trained that staff into a well oiled machine. If you have never gone; treat yourself to wonderful food and a truly fantastic staff. If you are worried about the cost, buy a gift card now and then so that when you go, it doesn't hurt that much.
