Fogo de Chao - Tyson's
Great food and value!
The servers have attitudes and are rude. There isn’t one waitress for you. It’s whom ever is available. I came to this location because it was closer. I rather take the trip into the city and go to DC. They are much more polite and friendly there. A true shame.
One-of-a-kind experience! The cheese bread was a nice surprise. The toppings/salad bar was sooo good. The service was amazing!!
We came to celebrate my best friends birthday, we received great service & great food. We really enjoyed our experience. And we liked the extra touch when the server put happy Birthday & candles on the birthday girl cake. Would definitely come again.
It was a great time, our waitress was so personable and was very helpful with everything.
Great service, great salad bar, love the ambiance. However, the quality of the meets served is subpar, not what they advertise. They start with low quality cuts, like sausage and chicken. The good meats like ribeye, filet mignon are advertised but rarely if ever make it to the table. Also, they bring meats rare, and if you want it well done they leave and never return, forget about you!! My mother waited for ever for a waiter to return with well done meats while the rest of the people at the table were eating. After a few experiences like that, she gave up ordering the rodizio and just has salad bar.
Food was great, service was very slow in terms of first being seen and getting the check.
The beef steak was too salty. Other than that everything was fine and I would recommend Fogo de Chao. But again the seasoning you put on your beef please please please go easy on the salt! I could not finish mine even though I knew the meat quality is good....it's too bad.
The market table is amazing, truly the best "salad bar" I've seen.
The food and atmosphere was great! We will definitely be back!!
GOOD FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY GATHERING !
We come to Fogo for the the picana, beef ribs, and the filet. They were extremely salty and we were very upset about that. My boyfriend who is a Chef and I both looked at eachother and we’re like wow, that’s salty. It also took over 20 minutes for them to bring out the beef ribs and took time to bring out the sides.
The Staff was very friendly, the food was great. Thanks for a great experience.
The service was amazing! Our server, Maya, took such great care of us and made sure we had an amazing evening. The food was delicious and timely. A great restaurant for any occasion!
Setvice was slow a disorganized. Drinks arrived half way thru the meal. Seems like staff need some training. I order a Stoli Greyhound and the waitress comes back saying that Fogo doesn’t carry Greyhound vodka...
I had a great time with my sister.
I was a frequenter at Fogo. While I have had exceptional service, it has become more hit-or-miss lately. During my last visit with my daughter, it took over an hour to have the premium meats brought to our table, and that was after two or three requests. We also had to request the standard dishes (eg mashed potatoes, fried plantains and such). Finally, while the wait staff was busy congregating with each other, they were scarce at our table. For $55 per person, a couple of slivers of premium meets with marginal service is not worth it. I think I’ll take a break from this place for a long while.
I went with my friends just for meeting up. We had such a good time , the food, the service were outstanding!
Great food and service!
Recently the meat quality has decreased. More chewy
My Daughters Birthday
The Picanha was the most disappointing Picanha in any Brazilian steakhouse in the DMV. I have never been to a place where the Picanha was so dry and flavorless. I would give this place a solid 3.5 stars on detracted on the Picanha alone.
With that being said, the other meats and salad bar were on point. I did make reservations at 2pm on New Years Eve for later that evening and they had availability which was a blessing! I would definitely recommend this place, but you have to master your craft, this should be an easy 5 star review.
This was my 5th visit to Fogo de Chao in 2019, and I found it to be ok. when I first dined at Fogo de Chao, I was very impressed and returned a few more times with work colleagues and family. However, I then discovered Texas de Brazil, and have become a regular there because I found the quality of their meats and the service to surpass that at Fogo de Chao's. In addition, the marketplace/salad bar at Texas de Brazil has a wider array of selections, which seem to be fresher. Significantly, Texas de Brazil offers its full experience for less money. I decided to give Fogo de Chao a try again for our family new year's eve dinner - even though it is pricier and we really love Texas de Brazil - for two reasons: (1) they offer a seafood option; and (2) I thought they might step it up for new year's eve. While I was happy to have the option of eating seafood instead of meat, we found the overall experience was still lacking as compared to Texas de Brazil.
I’ve been fogo about 40 times this past year (restaurant is in my work building) so would often go for lunch and this was honestly the worst experience. The food was great but the service was terrible. We had a waitress named Kimberly who was super rude and didn’t come around to table. Had to go up to the bar to get drinks and request refills for tap water multiple times before anyone refilling our glasses. Very disappointed. Brought 2 new guests who had never been and it was embarrassment bringing them to such a poor service experience.
We had a great birthday dinner! The lamb steak was great!
Great restaurant! I love its salad bar~ very authentic. Everything is freshly made.
Christmas. Way overcrowded. Felt like I was at an amusement park. The food is good as long as you love meat.
My family and I came to Fogo de Chao/Tyson’s for Christmas Eve Dinner two nights ago. The restairant is located in a building that stands separately between Tyson’s 1 and 2, (not far from Founding Farmer’s). The interior is a vast, open space with beautiful minimalist decor and high ceilings. Service was very attentive, and we could see how busy the place was, so staff works very hard. Food can be ordered as the “Meat device”, which includes the market buffet; or you can get them Arlet buffet on its own, or lastly, you can order their a la crate dishes. The meat service came around regularly and had a nice variety of chicken, different cuts of beef, pork, and some cuts came with bacon. Our younger son decided to do that, since he is not much of a beef person. Cocktails and wine were also varied and delicious, including capairinhas, the signature Brazilian cocktail. And the desserts looked wonderful, but by then we were stuffed, so we passed. Definitely I recommend this restaurant for an evening out. It’s not cheap, but you get excellent food, service, and ambience for your money. And you must be hungry to eat here! I highly recommend Fogo Fe Chao for any special outing.
It was very busy as we arrived and our party of 10 waited about 25 minutes to be seated. This was a rough start. We had a nice table but service was slow to get water then drinks. Once we got going service picked up. The salad bar was outstanding and the meats were good although it was difficult to get the cuts we wanted. The wait staff was very friendly but definitely stretched that night. With tax and tip we we north of $100 per head which makes my expectations higher.
College kids home
Service was horrible. We had to ask for things multiple times and often couldn’t find a server. And the bathrooms were dirty. I was extremely disappointed.
Service was slow. Had to wait a long time for drinks each round. The variety of meat seems to be less varied then before. I’ve been at Fogo’s in many cities before over the last 10 years. Seems to have lost its luster.
As always, the food was good. At the market table, the papaya was excellent this time, nice and tasty and juicy. The kiwi no so much but then again, it is not in season. With the exception of the very loud table next to us, all was acceptable. Next time, however, we will go earlier to try to avoid the loud people.
While the food is excellent, the service was not. We never received the Brazilian sides until the end of the meal when we had to ask about it. We put in a drink order that never got filled, then it took about 10 minutes between getting the wine glass and getting the actual wine when we had to ask about the drink order (at this point we were nearly done with the meal). No one really checked on us. I never received a water refill. We opted out of dessert because it would take forever to wait and we already had to wait a long time to get someone's attention to bring us a check. Our server made the point to tell us at the beginning that he is not our designated server and everyone shares in the responsibility but that is exactly the problem. If no one has ownership, tables aren't going to be served well.
This was our 19th wedding anniversary and we wanted to try something different. The restaurant management and staff were beyond great! They made our night with check in’s and little known facts about Mclean. Our direct waiter was Andrew but he and his partners all chipped in to make the dinner special.
Experience was fine. Chelsea was great. Our table was tucked behind a wall so the food could’ve come a little quicker, seem to miss us every now and then. But otherwise a good experience
Great service!!! Food was really good as usual
Had a really good date with my boyfriend but the server was no where to be found and another server ended up cashing us out because we never seen her again.
The service was amazing! The place was very cozy and the food very good.
It was good
