   Went to Forchetta for Mother's day with rather low expectations for have a decent Italian meal with hopefully a little Italian ambiance. I know its not Luce but seemed to get decent reviews. Neither of those things happened as they had decided to only serve a rather generic buffet and not allow ordering from the menu. The buffet was ok but nothing to write home about or that i would expect to be charged $50 a head for (and $11 beers, no Italian ones?). Ambiance was not great, blaring country music all morning and people were there in their pajamas. Staff was at least nice and accommodating.

   Absolutely worst experience. I had a party of 10 that was given multiple different check amounts after being told after the meal was done that its $71/person! There definitely wasn’t $71 worth of a meal. On top of that we have multiple people with different price points. So unacceptable. Ill never come back to this establishment or organize a group meal for out of town guest again.

   Every other restaurant was booked for Mother’s Day and for some reason, Forchetta still had room. I was a little wary, but we had a fantastic brunch. There was a lot of variety to the food and our waiter was excellent! I thought it was a little pricey.

   I don’t normally leave reviews, but this was by far the absolute worst Italian I have had. Both meals were flavorless, poorly cooked, and unbalanced. I thought their menu had a typo calling the calamari “infamous”, but after having the misfortune of eating it, I think the word choice is spot on. Those chewy, oversized onion-ring-looking discs tasted like they came right off the back of a Sysco truck. The service we received was great, but the poor waiter was the only individual on the floor juggling hosting, service, and bussing.

    The service was excellent. The portion of food I got for the price as well as the amount of protein in the dish didn’t justify the price. Overall a good experience but I don’t think I’ll be back.

    Amazing drone beginning to end. We were celebrating a friends birthday and running slightly late . The hostess called to make sure we were safe. The waiter was completely amazing he knew the menu in and out and the service was fast. They brought out a special birthday treat for our friends and were very social, funny, and overall amazing .

    We were pleasantly surprised at how incredibly delicious this restaurant is. We went there for a special birthday and had a party of nine. The chef is from Italy and came out to speak with us to make sure we enjoyed our meals. We had lasagna, rigatoni, hamburger, fettuccini, and pizza. Everything was fabulous. We would definitely go back. It is in the front of a Holiday Inn Express which is why we were skeptical. They sent a tray of desserts out for the birthdays girl. Everything was wonderful.

    We had a lovely dining experience at Forchetta! We started with the octopus and fagottini appetizers which were totally delicious! We then enjoyed a generous portion of rigatoni which was full of flavor!!! Our waiter, Clint, was warm, friendly, and attentive. Chef Luca graciously came out to talk to us about the menu and ensured we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend visiting Forchetta!

    Do not be discount this place because of its location. Outstanding food. The pasta was Al dente, the meatballs were soft and fresh, and the eggplant app was fantastic. Loved everything.

    The service was very welcoming, attentive and professional. However the restaurant is partially in the lobby of a hotel, and is where they obviously do breakfast for guests. However we ordered the Lobster crepe appetizer which was incredible and baked in vodka sauce. We also ordered the pork belly appetizer which was outstanding.     Our dinner at Forchetta was absolutely wonderful Our entrees were the Branzino and the pork chop. Both were outstanding. Chef Luka is one of the best chefs in Charlotte and he brings his talent to each dish on the menu. One of our favorite Charlotte restaurants

    The food was delicious. The Food and Beverage Director Sam Cantu was there that night. He was amazing to us. Very personable, attentive, and helpful. The staff was great. We are definitely going back. We had the Lasagna & The Pork Chop. Delicious!! The house Merlot was great also.

    Surprised find. Wonderful service particularly Tomas but whole staff backed him up. Never felt rushed. Water glasses never empty. Food excellent. Very attentive service throughout evening. Patient and thorough suggestions. Good and ample martinis fixed as requested. Lucked into nice table by window. Did not rush check but brought and processed it timely. Complimentary parking. Thanked us for our business. Very genuine. Who would have thought - connected to Holiday Inn downtown Charlotte. Only wrinkle is parking bit inconvenient in adjoining garage but clean and roomy. Would use valet next time. Saturday evening at 6pm. Restaurant almost full but did not feel crowded. Will go again. Suggest best for party of 2 or 4

    The food was outstanding! Mussels and sausage and the lobster pillows were wonderful. The NY steak and lasagna were excellent. Cooked to perfection. The rigatoni and meatballs needed more sauce but excellent. The service was outstanding. Wine selection was also on point with the food choices.

    We went to Forchetta for the first time on Saturday and we loved it! We took our teenage daughter with us, got a window table and we enjoyed everything. The food was amazing and the service was great! They knew it was our first time so they gave us a free dessert and champagne! We are definitely going back soon.

    We went for a late meal. It became busy but there was only one waitor. He was busting his tail though. The chef saw us waiting and even came out to check on us, get us some bread, etc... At our table we had the the meatball rigatoni, lasagna, and the messy burger. It was all excellent. Between great tasting food and the personal touch from the chef, I would highly recommend this place.

    Being connected to a Holiday Inn I wasn't expecting it to give of such a nice ambience! The food was 4star quality, just needed a little salt. The drinks were good. The staff was nice. It was Valentine's Day and when you left they gave out two roses pre guess. I would definitely come back. It was ducked off and quite AND they validate parking!! 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
