the food was delicious as we went around brunch time( 10am). We sat outside to ensure we could socially distance and be respectful of others but that was not a good choice as the service was bad. The server himself was friendly but completely inattentive. We saw him 2 times, when he took our order and when he dropped off our check at the end. We NEVER saw him once our food came to the table (delivered by someone else) to check to see if everything was ok. I kept waiting to ask him for sugar for my coffee until I realized after 10 minutes he wasn’t coming out so I went inside myself to ask someone for some. My boyfriend asked for hot sauce which was never brought out nor did he get a chance to get it since our waiter NEVER SHOWED BACK UP our entire meal! I was so frustrated and surprised at the terrible service we experienced as we have been there several times before. I understand these are unusual times as it is COVID, but we are being charged a 4% surcharge to help the restaurant already!! I don’t know if there was a kitchen problem, or server error but when he FINALLY came back to drop off the check he NEVER acknowledged the fact he hadn’t been out to check on us in about 25 minutes, nor had any management ever come out to talk to us about the lack of service. We may be back but not for a LONG time, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE CHARGED A 4% FEE DURING COVID. Really disappointed in FFT!!!

Disappointing! The buffet was the only option for brunch. It was half the size of the normal buffet but the same price—$30. They also charged a pandemic surcharge, which seemed unnecessary given that we were already paying $30 pp for brunch. Our waiter was not attentive. Some of the food was cold. The guys at the buffet were the exception. Very friendly and hard working.

Went for the buffet and it was great. Social distancing and mask required. Buffet no longer self serve and menu limited. It was nice to have items brought out from the kitchen which is included with the buffet. Enjoyed the outdoor seating. Will definitely return!
For the buffet, the site says that your serve will build your plates individually and bring it to your table and that is not what happened. Certain items were not available on the buffet and had to be ordered by the server and everything else you had to go in and make your plate. In some ways it defeated the purpose of sitting outside to avoid being exposed to circulating air within the restaurant. I would suggest updating the website to accurately represent the process.
Second, the buffet constantly ran out of things and was not able to keep up with the number of patrons coming through the line. On at least two occasions the brunch coordinator had to bring something out to me, so I wouldn't have to wait.
For the desserts, the servers should definitely ask about allergies. One of the samplers we had contained peanuts and not once were we asked about peanut allergies.
I am so sorry your buffet brunch visit was basically average, and the service & quality was lacking. :( I also apologize for any misguidance on our dessert ingredients & you are absolutely right- not all ingredients are listed on our menu & we do ask our valued guests to please inform us of any allergies (as it states on our menu). The food took an hour to come out, I barely saw the waitress and the food was not appetizing at all.
Excellent outdoor dining setup. I felt safe.
One suggestion: don’t use physical menus unless patrons request them. I didn’t want to use the menu - intended to use my iPhone to read the menu - but kept reaching for it out of habit.
Excellent food but no extras with entree. Service very slow.

Handling the social distancing and cleanliness well.
We love the food and drinks at FF. Our waiter Joe was great and tried really hard to make my husband a drink that’s wasn’t on the menu which was above and beyond. The down side was a glitch in the ordering where our crab and artichoke dip got quite delayed. The staff and manager apologized and took care of it so that helped. Luckily we were not in a rush but it was also rather chilly indoors which became noticeable as we waited. Granted the temps dropped today so I guess if it had been the usual 90 degrees outside I wouldn’t have noticed. Of course we will be back ... love FF
They have created a very safe comfortable setting during COVID 19. The service impeccable. Food is always very exceptional

Excellent Steak Salad and Crab Louie!
I ordered the steak and fries and he was not what I expected. I’ve eaten before it’s on the farmers and it was much better. Having said that because of this Covid environment I’m not being too harsh on the star rating. The service was amazing and so was the ambience!
Sunday brunch was buffet style. Fairly good selection of food.
The peach Bellini was yummy.
Out door and indoor seating available...felt safe distance except at front when trying to get checked in.

Much better experience compared to the Potomac location. However, I would have rather sat inside vs outside but reserving online didn't offer the choice. Thank goodness for the umbrella! Also, I didn't like that it was only buffet style and wasn't informed prior.

This was my second time dining in. I invited my brother & his wife for dinner since the first time I had an awesome experience. Noel was our server that first time, he was very helpful, friendly & attentive. Bartender made delicious fresh muddled fruit cocktails.
But this second time it was just bad. Server took a long time to come to our table just to introduce himself. We ordered drinks first and we got them after we received our entrees. The cocktail I ordered was the same from my first visit, the server point out it was not a sweet drink which I already knew. They made it wrong so server took it away, he then brought a new one, it was still wrong, was super sweet, had a weird artificial flavor, definitely NOT fresh muddled strawberries. I obviously didn’t drink it. Server was not attentive nor helpful, he disappeared the whole time, didn’t check on us, & only showed when we finished eating our entrees, with the bill on his hands, almost putting it on the table, & asked if we wanted any dessert. Which we did plan on getting an affogato & bread pudding, but since he technically dropped the check on the table we said No.
I asked to speak to the manager not to get any discount or anything of that nature but just to give her feedback of our bad experience, since we also work in the industry. She came to our table. When telling her about the cocktail situation I showed her pics of my first visit, and she responded saying; “Well I can’t taste it through the picture and we for sure don’t have artificial strawberries here”, we thought that was rude. Eventually She did hear me out & took the drink off the bill.
But to be honest, with over 9 years of experience Managing Restaurants, from casual to fine dining, I would have Never expected her to handle the situation the way she did.

Were a little lost about how brunch work at first, definitely follow covid guideline. the waiter definitely could have been more attendtive and offer us dessert we had to wait a long time for him to swing by to get if

Great food and staff very professional during COVID-19
Just wasn’t too thrilled with our server. She came across very condescending. The young man/host with the sweet accent and demeanor saved the day.
One word AMAZING!!! This is the 3rd Founding Farmers I have been to and it definitely was a good chill experience in the midst of this pandemic. I will definitely return!
