    Went to celebrate a birthday and we added a note on the reservation. When the bill came we were given a birthday card and the server announced they are doing this now and it is awkward, which made it awkward. Then, after our credit card was run, our server asked if they put a candle in our dessert. They did not. The server said, "oh, they were supposed to". We didn't go here for recognition, but either acknowledge the birthday wholeheartedly, or just don't say anything. It was an awkward way to end the night. Also, on multiple occasions we overheard staff members talking to each other either complaining about or making fun of the customers they were serving. While it is clear you don't have to like everyone you wait on, it is off putting to hear staff openly complaining on the job. Food was up to expectations and ~$300 for 2 people.

    This was my first time at this new spot, and I will definitely be back. I am a classic steakhouse fan and Foxhall checked all the boxes. The place had a old Hollywood speakeasy vibe. The host and waitstaff were very friendly and we were also visited by the owner. We started with a classic savory French Onion soup, tomatoes and burrata, and a Cesar salad. All were well seasoned and quite enjoyable. We ordered the Ribeye and the Porterhouse date steak to get a full steak experience. The Ribeye was very flavorful and the Porterhouse was a nice compliment to round out the steak offerings. We ordered the potato puree and the gratin. Both were very good.

    The food was really good. It’s a small intimate restaurant great for a date night which me and my boyfriend did. Great service as well the waiter was super friendly and helped us how they do things. Order everything at once including desert so they can have everything ready for u and u can just enjoy your company

    Food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Nice cocktails. Amber was our server and she was a day of sunshine. We had the NY steak which was the best NY steak ever just as Amber said it would be. The potatoes and spinach added to our great meal. We will be back!

    Went the first time and all was perfect. Went again on Tuesday. Steak came out well done. Asked for medium. They made a new one but it came out rare! Ordered a sapphire and tonic. Came out with ginger beer added! Executive chef was off for the night. Another steak house off my list!

    Food was delicious and the place has such a beautiful aesthetic and a great vibe. The owner Keya came over and introduced himself and told us the story abt the place and took so much pride in it which showed in every aspect of the dining experience for us. Highly recommend.

    What a great restaurant- food was amazing. Waiters were amazing. Drinks were amazing. Decor amazing. Just one thing…needs to have the music up a little more. Way too quiet for such a small intimate place. Your already sitting shoulder to shoulder with the table next to you which is fine but you can hear every single word everyone is saying. Zero privacy. Other than that, Im going back next week.

    What a great find. The steak could not have been more perfect from seasoning to temperature. The cocktails were good and our server, Kelsey, was spot on. This place is a must. Only criticism is the owner came out on the floor and only went to say hi to tables of his friends. Trying to build a neighborhood reputation should include first timers who become regulars. Won't stop me from coming back though.....

    Foxhall is truly a gem! Elegant European vibe. The food is pretty good. The bartender makes pretty tasty drinks too. Ask for the Sylvia Burnt orange peel Espresso Martini. They rim the glass & top off your Martini with the orange rind (peel) giving every sip a lovely hint of citrus essence. Absolutely delicious! As if that's not enough- offer freshly made to order soufflé. My favorite! Bravo Foxhall! Well done!

    Everything from service to food and everything in between was IMPECCABLE. The care put into every detail of the experience was unforgettable and we cannot wait to come back. Their espresso martini is just as much a must as the soufflés.

    Beautiful decor, a very elegant feel…service was impeccable from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. So many attention-to-detail moments, like purse hooks, ensuring our water was filled, spacing out the order in which the course came out make sure we had enough time to eat. All the stuff thats lacking at other restuarant experiences in Los Angeles nowadays. I will definitely recommend and return.

    I would have to rank this as the most overpriced meal I've had in my 6 years in LA. Dining out with friends, enjoying a good meal and wine is my thing. I don't ever worry about price or think about it unless the food quality doesn't match. And this place was beyond disappointing. It's a steakhouse, so you'd assume their steak has to be good. The server sold it very hard. My friend and I both got filets. Now the cut of meat was lovely and it was cooked perfectly BUT there was basically 0 flavor. It wasn't even salted enough. It was BLAND. I couldn't be more disappointed. Waitress brought out the wrong sides and when we finally got our sides the brussel sprouts were ok nothing special and the spinach was gross the spinach tasted as if an entire can of pepper had been dumped in. We both took a bite and left the rest of it. The entire meal was underwhelming and nowhere near worth what we paid. I'd rather pay that same amount for the steaks at Boa or Catch Steak, so flavorful and I've spent more money there without blinking an eye because everything is perfection from start to finish.

    Perfect experience all around, and we could not be happier to have such a new and refreshing steakhouse with the right amount of old school touch and class.     We dined to celebrate our son's 21st birthday. Loved the vibe of the restaurant. The cocktails were very good. We absolutely loved the caviar egg with potato pave appetizer and enjoyed our caesar salads. Every steak was delicious as reported by my husband and two sons. Our waiter explained it was his first time on the floor and he handled everything professionally and seamlessly. Finished plates and drink glasses were removed immediately (a pet peeve of ours). Really the only criticism, and it is a minor one, is the chairs are a little uncomfortable and it is a bit crowded. If you happened to get someone on the loud side next to you it would put a damper on the experience. However, we will dine here again.

    I was being rushed. Every five minutes the waitress kept coming to the table. Mind you it was only one other party dining there. It was not a full house. We complained about the portion of an entree and it was disregarded.

    Adding to my list of go-to’s!! Excellent food! Great service! Great drinks! The bread served at the beginning with house made butter is to die for. The garlic fries are epic. The reason I did not give 5 stars for ambiance is because the restaurant is small and should remove a table or two and space out the remaining tables—too cramped. That said, I definitely would return— maybe sit on the patio. The food is soooooo good!

    Wonderful experience. Starting with the warm greeting at the door to the prompt seating at my table to the attentive (not overly) wait staff I felt like a special guest at the house of a good friend. Me and my two guests all had different appetizers and main courses and we all were very pleased with the freshness, taste and presentation. Best comment I can give is that I will be back soon,

    My food was delicious, ordered the Jalapeño Margherita pizza and it was insane. So spicy which I love. Also got a key lime martini and key lime pie and both were so delicious. Telling my friends and I’ll be back soon

    The interior of the restaurant is very nice, and the setting.... our waiter Noah was very attentive.  As the restaurant started to get Fuller, I don't think there were enough wait staff for all the tables . When we finished our main courses, the plates sat on our table far too long. We had ordered a soufflé at the beginning of the night but unfortunately, the oven had issues, and it kept deflating. Their freshly brewed iced tea was very good. we enjoyed our salads and our main courses and they were very good, my only feedback would be I think they need more staff for all the tables when it gets busy
