We've called Northcote home since 2013 and we love our community! Our friends at Pizza e Vino a few doors down prepare all of our delicious food. Think affordable casual bar food like wood fire pizzas, burgers, bread & dips, salads, wedges... you get it.
Order with us, we take care of everything.
We have a huge back bar of spirits and an extensive cocktail menu showcasing the classics and some house favourites. We're all about good drinks, great friends and unforgettable moments.
Our DJs spin all your favourite tunes on the weekends. We also have a stack of board games, plus ping pong and darts for date / mates night and Trivia every Thursday!
Hit us up for functions or larger bookings, we love hosting events and parties and have versatile space options, indoor and outdoor.

With Happy Hour 5-7pm and Kitchen open till 9:30pm - you are in for a good night. Trivia Kicks off on the dot of 7pm, so grab your friends, assemble your dream team, and head to Francesca's for an evening filled with unforgettable trivia excitement. The latest time we recommend you book for is 6:30pm. So you have heaps of time to settle in with a drink and you don’t miss out on any questions! Teams are maximum 6 - Booking in advance is highly encouraged!

Francesca's is a great little eatery if you are going to a show at the Northcote Theatre... its literally right next door! They have an arrangement with the neighbouring pizza joint (Pizza e Vino) who provides the very yummy food... the latter just need to make sure their printer is switched back on after cleaning (the owner of Francesca's realised their printer was turned off when our food was delayed and was quickly onto it... plus I got a free Scotch and dry for my troubles🙏)! Highly recommended for any night out in Northcote👍🙏😊!

We had a fantastic time at Frans as a large group of 10-20, dinner, drinks, the night flowed and we were so kindly looked after by staff. So much fun for an informal event!

Fun place to enjoy happy hour before the theatre. Simple menu with plenty of snacky foods. Delicious cocktails. We even enjoyed a few games of darts while drinking cocktails.

Had a great time here on a Thursday night trivia night! We got there a bit early to make the most of happy hour as well, which was great value.

We went to the Thursday trivia night. The host was outstanding. The food was good, and they had mulled cider :)

vibe was ok,and food was fine, only knock was the ridiculous cumbersome method of ordering and paying by credit card via scanning code, why??

We were there to celebrate my sons 25th birthday! We all had a good time! Bar service was very prompt and happy hour super good value!. Ambience was great, toilets super clean! Good DJ and music! Whilst the food was very good and tasty it look a while to arrive. Staff was nice and friendly and efficient! Overall very good experience and everyone in attendance had a good time and enjoyed themselves I defenetely recommend Francescas Bar!
