great food, excellent covid protocol observed, good service!!

The staff welcomed as the second we arrived. We were seated immediately. All Covid precautions were in place and being properly observed. The food was awesome. This is our new favorite place to eat.

Excellent breakfast options

New Year’s morning breakfast was good. Had a “design your own omelette,” that was tasty. Very good whole grain toast and homemade jam. Coffee could use a bit of work. Service was excellent.

Food was awesome, service was very good and our server was very polite and friendly. We’ve been to Frankie’s before and will definitely go again.
They make really good whisky sours.

Being older folk, my wife and I usually ask for fewer potatoes with our breakfast
/brunch.
We’ve always been accommodated, so no problem.
Not that the potatoes aren’t good — they are — just more than we need. Hate to see food go to waste.
Maybe consider reduced food serving options for seniors?

Frankie’s has become our go-to Sunday morning outing.

First time at Frankie's but it won't be out last. Service was great and the fish and chips and Mediterranean Salad were incredibly tasty.

Pizza was tasty and a generous size for the money. My friend’s skillet shrimp dish was also very good. The servers wear masks and keep their distance and they sanitize the tables and menus after each use. A perfect place to go to for a great meal and drinks during this time of COVID

Excellent service, food hot from the kitchen and tasty. Great and varied menu choices. Very consistently excellent food. Good distancing. Servers are wearing masks. One of my fav eating places in Victoria.

Service and food were both great.

I ordered an omelet. I specifically told the server that I did not want mushrooms (Allergy)
When the omelet arrived it was full of mushrooms.
The server never came back to ask if everything was satisfactory.
When we paid the bill, I mentioned how in spite of my request, I received an over abundance of mushrooms.
The server sort of shrugged-- did not apologize or offer any kind of compensation.
The lack of professional service does not make me want to come back to Frankie's.

Came for my birthday lunch. I had two of the skillets and they were amazing!! Staff was great and super sweet.

Delivers on promise of fresh, modern diner food. Delicious and satisfying.

I had the salad nicoise and it was good, light and fresh. I would have preferred a little bit more dressing but still tasty. My partner had the steak and it was cooked properly as requested. The Brussel sprouts that came with the steak was very tasty too. Last but not least we also had the apple pie and flourless choc cake and both were great.

This was our first time at Frankie’s Modern Diner. We each had the three course all included meals. I had spaghetti and meatballs and my husband had the half rack of ribs which he upsized to a full rack. The starter Mediterranean salad was delicious. My meal was wonderful and my husband could not finish his ribs! We each had the key lime pie for dessert, more like a creamy cheesecake and very tasty. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back!

My friends and I all got the early riser and it was a steal of a deal, we all had leftovers. And our waitress was super sweet and we all felt Covid safe!

Frankies is a welcoming place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff are friendly and attentive and pricing is commensurate with the quality of food. The other nice touch is Frankie makes an effort to walk around inside and outside to talk to diners. This restaurant is a mainstay for us and highly recommend it.

Best omelette I’ve ever had! Husband said his hash was fantastic.

Awesome place. We went there for lunch and had to come back for breakfast. Loved it!!!

Overall great experience. Waitress took my fork after salad & did not return it for the main course... had to flag her down. Other than that, great!

Two eyelashes in our meal. Not following Covid protocols. Watched them seat people at unwashed tables and they sat tables way closer together than 6 feet. When I mentioned this to them, I was told that it was 6 feet and that was all they could do. For reference, my 4 year old could reach the two tables they sat close to us.
