Food was fast however had to chase drinks orders a few times. Pizza wasnt great - slices werent cut - asked for them to slice but said 'it was' (it wasnt) and very soft/sloppy so not pleasant. Pastas/Salads were nice. Should be able to just go to Bar to get a drink. Stuffed Bill up and overcharged by $150 however rectifyed it upon showing mistake. Would go again but wouldnt order Pizza

Fab Friday lunch. Popular place too. The service was excellent and the food quick and delicious.

We had a booking for seven people. When we arrived ( on time), we stood at the counter for at least five minutes before any staff member even acknowledged us.
The restaurant had a very loud interior, which made conversation very difficult, even though we were away from the larger tables.
Food was delicious though, but we’ll not hurry back to this branch of Fratelli

We walked in and stood at the maître d desk as we had a booking. At least three people saw we were standing there and completely ignored us. Not even an acknowledgement to say someone would be with us soon. I understand friday nights get busy but this is just poor service. When someone finally came over we were pointed to a table in the corner. Not even ushered over. The table had not been set and still had the last guests mess on it. We then had to fight for the waiters’ attention all night and were given a tiny table (4 people) that could barely fit the 2 pastas we ordered, let alone the two pizzas. We had to sit out two bottles of water on the floor. The food was ok and the price was fine, but I would not recommend anyone here based on the service alone

Great service and delicious food. Lighting has recently become a bit stark recently and would be good to soften this to make it more welcoming.

Amazing food, lovely staff that made us feel welcome even with some indecisive diners and a toddler. Nothing was any trouble for them and service and food was exceptional

Great traditional Italian!

I've been here several times before and it has been great and delicious but they have extended the restaurant and changed the menu. Staff were fantastic but food took a long time and wasn't as good as it usually was.

Having dined at fratelli several times before I always enjoyed the food but the service left a lot to be desired.Last night however I took 4 friends who had not eaten there,they were all so excited about our food and the service was exceptional.We. All agreed that we will definitely will return.

Fratelli serves delicious food, and the friendliness of the staff made it a great dining experience.

We usually love Fratelli Ftesh, but unfortunately the Alexandria restaurant fall short of our usual experience with other branches.

No Gorgonzola in the Gorgonzola sauce!

The food is always great as is the service. The most infuriating thing is that your drink orders are not taken when you sit down, and once they are they take forever to arrive. We were give water once seated but it took at least ten minutes for our food order and drink order to be taken (at the same time). The drinks (which we would deem as pre dinner) arrive minutes before the food. I am now drinking a cocktail with my meal when I would prefer to be drinking red wine. happens EVERY SINGLE TIME

Fratelli has gone down since becoming a chain...choices on menu diminished if available at all..was very underwhelmed by what used to be a great experience.

Too noisy. Could hardly hear the person sitting across from me.

The service was terrible. The waiter rushed around but did little. The food was disappointing and felt prepared.

Unfortunately the food was pretty average. Our mains were delivered about 15 minutes apart meaning our food was cold. The drinks and food were overpriced for the quality. The restaurant lacked any ambience. It felt like a chain restaurant - which i guess it has become. The vegetarian anti pasti plate didn't have on it what the waiter said it did. Pretty disappointed and won't visit again.

They didn't have my booking the place was so loud you couldn't hear each other speaking
The tables were so small
The waiter was rude noisey and constantly slamming bottles and cups on the table
The menu has no variety

I have dined at Fratelli Fresh many times when Barry owned it. This was the first time since he sold. And we all agreed we would not go back again. The service was non-existent, the menu has been reduced considerably. The loss of the blackboard is a great pity. And the ambience was certainly nothing much. Definitely not like in the days of Barry and Andy Bunn. What a shame!!!

The food was great, but unfortunately the service wasn't.
The forgot our entree, then after the staff was reminded it didn't come out until the end of the main.
We then ordered dessert and one was forgotten and didn't arrive for 30 minutes.
considering we were a party of 2 it was pretty poor.

When we went to fix up the bill there was no apologies for the service and no discount offered.

It was hard because we were served by about 6 different staff members throughout the night.

Food was great, but we had to keep hunting the waiter down to get drinks. It was not busy but they just left us to it.

My son and I have have been here twice and on both occasions enjoyed the food and the great service.

Great pasta. Nice service. Food a little slow to come out but it was Fathers Day. Would go again.

The food is yummy but a bit overpriced and sometimes burnt (eg. lasagne and pizza). The place has a fun atmosphere and the service is good.

The food, wine and staff (when available) were excellent. But we were originally seated poorly despite a booking (but thankfully moved on request) and waited from 8pm to 9:40pm to be fed - unacceptable waiting time. Could not recommend based on these factors.

I have eaten here numerous times, but last sunday night we were left so dissappointed. Food took so long to arrive, and before that we had to chase a waiter to take our order! Meals arrived before drinks, one of the mains on our table arrived after everyone had finished theirs.
The worst part was there was No apologies for the terrible service, and the manager seemed to avoid us so we couldnt complain. Wont be back in a hurry.

My favourite restaurant in Sydney! Beautiful food, friendly staff, good atmosphere, good wine list and good value!

We thought the food was excellent but on the night we were there I think there was an issue with the pizza chef & kitchen. Food was very slow but wait staff were obliging & trying hard. Some diners very rude & some tables had 5 people served & one not. At this sort of place you do tend to expect better. Would I go back? Yes. Food quality great.

Excellent food, wine & service. You can't ask for more.

Service warm and helpful. Chicken scaloppine tasty. Polenta chips and Gorgonzola sauce also tasty but too uniform in flavour and texture to be one person's lunch. Would be better in the share plates section of the menu.
