Fratello's Italian Tavern - Park Circle
Always a wonderful dining experience! The food is outstanding!
My husband and I went doe our anniversary and it was very good. The drink selection was unique. The food was plentiful with amazing combinations of flavors. I recommend for any special occasion! Bon appetit!
Great food and service!
Best veal parm in the city! Eggplant is great as well. Enjoy going there each and every time.
We enjoy the food at Fratellos every time we dine there. If you can somehow leave room for dessert the Tiramisu is amazing. The service is very good and if you’re a regular they treat you like family!
The food was average this trip. It seem to have HVAC issues to it was warm in the restaurant
Food and service was not good. We arrived around 4 and all of the employees were sitting at the bar watching tv
Nobody greeted , there was no other customers at that moment. They brought my order and my sons wrong. And the pasta was too hard and cold. The manager apologized and said it was because they were changing shifts. Then she proceeded to explain how ravioli and tortellini are the same thing and that the Alfredo pasta was supposed to have a minty flavor.
Def not going back or recommending to anybody. I got a gift card for my bad experience that I would not be using.
Very much enjoyed our evening and will certainly be back. Loved the variety of the menu.
First time and won’t be my last, I’ll be back there was so much I wanted to try! I got the nights special I It was delicious! Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed
Menu variety was great. All entrees were prepared perfectly and were delicious. The bruschetta was not prepared with the ingredients listed on the nenu but our server took it off of the bill. Overall a great dining experience.
Food was best we’ve had there in a while. Restaurant was extremely hot.
Please repair/update restaurant
Also, maybe not jam so many tables and chairs in there. It makes it too hard to get into and out of areas especially if you’re elderly.
Food was amazing and our waiter was awesome. He recommended some great dishes and even took the time to discuss each dish in more detail. Will indeed go back again.
We always enjoy Fratello’s. Enjoy coming to Park Circle, quite a hub of activity it has become.
Food and service have always been consistently good.
This was our first visit to Fratello's for dinner and we absolutely enjoyed it. Jules, our waitress, was wonderful and such a pleasant soul. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Excellent choice for this evening without a doubt!
The people were very nice but our Chicken Marsala looked like it came out of a school cafeteria. I don't even know if it was real chicken. The bread was also very dry and the cost is very high for how poor the food was. Coffee tasted burnt as well.
Air was out it very very hot
Very warm in the restaurant making it quite uncomfortable. Tomatoe sauce had a burned taste. White sauce was very good but serving was small.
The rudest, worst experience at a restaurant that any in our group can recall. We arrived at 6:23pm with a confirmed (via email and OpenTable) 6:30pm reservation for 5 people. We were told (rudely) by the hostess that she didn't see us on her screen. I pulled up the confirmation email to show her, but she refused to look at it. She flipped her screen around, tapped on on it, and said "I don't care what your email says, your reservation is not on MY screen!"). The place was less than half full, and you are turning away a confirmed reservation of 5 people. Really? Not only did you turn away our immediate business, but the rudeness by which we were "greeted" will stick with us and reverberate as we recall the experience to others. Not a good way to thrive in a tough industry, but if it's working for you........good luck. We won't be back.
Just wasn’t the same. Somethings different about the food. Different chefs? Not sure but the quality wasn’t the same. I don’t usually write negative reviews.
Looking forward to my third visit there soon 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It was my husband birthday and we had a lot of fun. My husband actually ended up not like his oysters and the manager was very kind and gave him a gift card which is always nice and then we enjoyed our dessert which was amazing. Was overall a fun night and will be returning
The food and service were excellent. The only complaint we had was that our table for two (I think it is the only table for two in the room - the others are all larger tables) was placed between two larger tables and right behind the hostess stand. The space felt a little cramped.
I work in the area and decided to check out Park Circle for lunch ideas. Everything about Fratello's is great. From the service to the food to the Italian atmosphere and even the great song selections, I'll surely be back and also recommend to friends and coworkers.
From FL. First and most likely the only time I will dine there. Food, main dish was prepared properly but side dishes were only fair.
Would strongly recommend this restaurant to all who love Italian cooking.
Great job by all, from the warm greeting upon arrival, friendly and knowledgeable waiter, tasty meal. Will return and recommend to others.
After getting seated took forever to get service, which the restaurant was not busy at the time. We went with the appetizer special that the waiter suggested. It was good but it wasn't $28 good which is how much it cost. I just think if you have a $28 appetizer you should let customers know how much it is. Food was bland, definitely not worth the price you pay, The seating is awful also felt like we was sitting on top of people. We had two drinks an"$28"appetizer and two entrees thebill was $120. Was very disappointed after the good things we heard about this place!!
What a find! Thank you Sophia!
It was decent food. However it was very hot inside. We felt sick by the time we left. They need better AC.
Food was meh. Definitely not great Italian.
HORRIBLE food... We paid $76 for a meal that would have been better at Olive Garden & half the price. It was SO hot inside the restaurant and the service was sub par.
Food was absolutely delicious. Only complaint was it was very humid inside. Definitely will go back though especially to try more of the appetizers.
Food was delicious. I just wish there was a bit more variety.
Love the place and the food but it was too hot to enjoy. AlwAys is in the summer. I understand it is an old building but they need to fix the a/c. I will not go back in the summer.
We went on a Monday night. The restaurant was not crowded but it was stuffy and hot inside. This was our 4th or 5th time at the restaurant so I was looking forward to an awesome meal. The mussels were perfect, however I was disappointed by the switch from the crusty baguette to focaccia. I ordered shrimp a la romano pomodoro (my favorite dish) ... the pasta was overcooked and the shrimp was "off"... raised in the south I know the difference between "farm raised shrimp/fresh caught shrimp" the tails were also removed. The dish is usually served tail on. I was extremely disappointed. At the end of the meal I felt light headed (probably the heat) and I left the majority of my food on the plate. This was one of my favorite restaurants, but with so many great options in Charleston, it will be a long time before we return.
Great little neighborhood authentic Italian place .
Our first time there and we will be back soon. The best Chicken Marsala I have ever had! Wayne Sullivan.
It was 100 degrees inside. Hostess and waiter not helpful. Food was such low quality. Waiter put in wrong order. He also walked by the table, never stopping when we were speaking to him.
Great time good food and good service!
Will definitely return!!!
