Frederico's Bar & Eatery
Super flavoursome food with a great variety and amazing service!
We will be back!
Food and service was amazing a little on the pricey side but for a special occasion worth it.
We had a really wonderful time at Fredricos. The range of dishes was amazing and the ones we chose were all delicious. Had one of the best margaritas also. Service was excellent- attentive and food arrived fast - good to be able to go somewhere nice for an early 5.30 pm sitting. Worth booking in!
Food was incredible. Atmospheric was great. Beautiful location. Will definitely be back 😌
Great food, decor, service and ambience. I love this place!
Nice place.. taste of the fajita Chicken and beef mix was a bit bland... otherwise very good.
Food and drinks were delicious!! Menu a little overwhelming though. Will defn be back.
Really lovely fresh flavours. Grapefruit Martini is delicious. Lovely service and decor. Thank you
Amazing customer service, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food.
Delicious food served by attentive, customer focused staff positioned in a stunning setting on Gosford’s foreshore. A must try for visitors and locals alike!
Great food, great service, great cocktails and overall a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant! :)
Great service and Hannah helped with changing a dish due to my allergy - the 4 of us had a great night
Amazing! The food and wine were superb but the highlight of our lunch was our waitperson Tyson and his massive smile. What an asset he is for sure. Thank you for your hospitality...we will be back!
We had a great night. We started with a couple of cocktails downstairs at the bar before proceeding upstairs to dine on a vibrant selection of tasty Latin American tapas style dishes with lots of flavour and beautifully cooked. We will most definitely be back.
We chose mainly from the specials which had some
Staff were lovely and friendly, although it did take a while to order some drinks on occasion.
Venue is nicely decorated BUT is loud and conversation really rings around the room.
A nice casual dining experience.
I was pretty excited to try this place. I love their sister restaurant, Box on the Water, so figured this was going to be as good. It was just alright... nothing amazing. The cocktails were nice, the food needed some work. The pork belly tasted like fridge, you could taste that it had been cooked quite a while in advance and reheated, the croquettes were gluggy and didn’t have great flavour. The prawns an tapioca chips on the other hand were nice. They also didn’t place our dessert order so we sat waiting for ages for nothing and just left. For 2 people it was quite expensive for an average dinner.
Great food, though could be a bit spicier. Awesome cocktails. Beautiful water view (but across a carpark and busy road). Wait staff were lovely and attentive but we did wait half an hour for dips.
Overall though a lovely place. Will definitely go again!
We thought we were paying $75 each for a set menu we did let them know one of us was vegan, which was not a problem we had 1 champagne $16 Aperol Spritz $16, our bill came to $219.00
Welcoming attentive staff, food was great , lovely venue
Went for Valentine’s Day dinner - service was great & speedy with friendly, professional staff. Cocktails were yummy and reasonably priced. $75 set menu which included 4 small entrees, 1 main to share & tasting plate for desert. Was a little bit disappointed with the meals as my partner and I both left still very hungry, we enjoyed ourselves to say the least but the food was a let down. Of course we knew what was on the set menu for the night but we did not expect the tiny portions & for $75 you’d expect to have more then 2 small slices of sirloin each for your main meal... would like to try it again sometime but order from the a la carte menu. $5 from each meal was donated to the bush fires, which I applaud them on.
It was a set menu for Valentines day. The food was beautiful, however for $75.00 I believe it was overpriced. Great service and location on the Gosford waterfront is spectacular. Looks like a great bar (we were on an alcohol free month) and the cocktails looked fabulous. Very good service.
Although they were accomodating with allergies. Appetizers were nice, steak for main was EXTREMELY blue (not just rare) and desserts were really disappointing. Staff were friendly but restaurant was busy and service was very slow. We were extremely hot near the window and the noise level was high, made worse by lots of tables jammed in close together so it felt rather claustrophobic. Prices were WAY TOO HIGH for the quality of food, extremely overpriced
Our first time at Fredrico's and we were very pleased with the menu & prices. The portion size was good much better than some other Tapas bars we've been too. The wine list whilst a bit on the expensive side was good we had a Spanish Miolo Pinot Griggio Reisling Blend which I had never tried before and it was excellent with the food.
Food and vibe was great, we had a fantastic night and will be back.
it was amazing! will definitely return and definitely recommend
Food was great and staff very friendly and made you feel welcome. They had a function on down stairs and near full restaurant upstairs but found it hard to service the restaurant with drinks waiting way too long. They just needed more staff when this is planned. Apart from that we will be back
Great food and great service! Go on tapas Thursday and get 3 for $39!
Other than a knob other diner making loud noise and conversation - it was fantastic.
OUR WAITER WAS A 10 OUT OF 10. HAVE NOT HAD A WAITER LIKE THAT IN OVER 45 YEARS.
FOOD WAS VERY GOOD ALSO AND I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO MY FRIENDS.
Early booking at 6.30, once seated had to wait 30 mins for a drink order. Ordered drinks and dips to start, ordered additional chips which never arrived but charged on the bill. Food was very ordinary, chicken was bland, calamari was over cooked, pork belly had not had enough of the fat rendered. Would not return or recommend based on our experience.
We had a lovely meal on Friday night, the restaurant has a relaxed, casual and local feel, in fact I ran into a few acquaintances while there. It was nice to just order the tapas plate by plate as we felt like things to graze on and the cocktails were really great.
Restaurant very loud which I don't really mind. Although the menu concept was great the execution was terrible. Example was the pork belly. 3 peices on the plate, one under done, one half burnt, one completey burnt. How?
$125 for two people, had McDonalds on the way home. Not a great anniversary.
We found wine and beer selection not very good and after the men had main and dessert they were still hungry
We had a lot of fun and amazing food, thank you :)
Loved our dinner at Frederico’s. Perfect kids menu too. The Grapefruit margarita is amazing. Will definitely be back for more.
Fantastic tapas really imaginative and great eating
The ambience and decor is really great
Unfortunately drink and food service was really slow Highly recommended otherwise
Always special when Tyson is in. Great service always ❤️👍.
We had a great afternoon. Staff were excellent
Not at the moment. It needs work with table service and length of timing on drinks. St staff also need to know the food they are serving and make accurate recommendations.
We waited 35minutes for 3 beers that we ended up ordering more at one time so we didn't have to wait. When we asked our waitress twice if they were on their way she rolled her eyes. We also almost needed more food for 7 people. It was not enough food and might have appreciated her recommending more as the portions didn't give everyone a fair serving to eat.
Mind you it's the week befor3 Xmas so a busy time but we also got beers in cans as they ran out of glasses
Wouldn’t recommend to my age group as although music good upstairs is restaurant so would suit quieter... service took way too long ... all for young staff but you need experience... 20 Mins for non beer drink
