We had a great time. The happy hour menu was great. Great value for the food and we had a great time hanging out. We became fast friends at another table but we kept our distance and just chatted. It kept the party going for a couple more hours.

Definitely, a fun place to hang out, grab some drinks, and have some delicious food.

What’s the point of making a reservation at this place? Arrived on time, and advised by the hostess that our table was not ready. Busy night with more than expected walk-ins. “About 15 minute wait, or you can have the table by the front entrance”. A cold night, so declined and waited. In walks another twice with a reservation, and they were led to a table straight away. What the h....? Trying to support local restaurants, but this was inexcusably!

It took about 10 min of sitting before any server came to out table. She was nice.

There were three of us who did the dine out menu. We all ordered the chowder, one order of jambalaya and 2 orders of fried chicken. The chowder was lukewarm and edible but not great. The chicken had a nice crunch but very dry and meat had no flavor. They must not have added enough salt to brine. No comparison to even KFC, Church’s, Popeye,, Jukes or. nightingale. Very disappointed. First time ever we didn’t even want to take left over home.
The jambalaya was the worst we have ever tasted. Rice as dry, with no flavor with only a few pieces of burnt sausage, salmon was overcooked and extremely dry. We were told we had to wait longer for pecan pie. Either they had to defrost another pie or staff went out to pick one up at bakery. Pie wasn’t very good. We didn’t want to finish it.

So disappointed with food. We go out for many meals.
This was the worst dine out ever and one of the worst food
we have had in lower mainland. I apologized to my family
for the bad choice of a restaurant I chose.

Food was okay. Big portions though.
I called a day earlier to book a table and guy on the phone said just walk-in, they are all empty. We walked in and got the worse table, one by the entrance.
Asked lady if we could switch to a bigger table or booth seat perhaps, was told they were all reserved. If you're in the hood and have no other choice or friends were adamant on going here, that'd be the only possibility I'd be back.

Drinks are fine. Food is the worst that I had for God knows how long. Service is great.

I enjoy the music and overall feel of the location. I have tried and enjoyed many of the menu items. The breakfast is excellent. The $10.00 daily lunch specials are awesome! My go to menu item during the Happy hour is their Salt and Pepper wings. Very tasty indeed. The staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

Irene was our server. She’s providing excellent service, she’s caring, friendly and thoughtful. I highly recommended this place. Food and service both are great!

Good place for happy hour. Good service with tasty food. Big portion.

Came here for a birthday party, ordered the following: Family chicken dinner, shrimp po boy, crispy cauliflower, wedge salad, hot chicken sliders, Mac and cheese.

Chicken was good, juicy, crispy and drizzled with honey,. Crispy cauliflower was a favourite and the hot chicken sliders were great.

As a previous review said, the Mac and cheese wasn’t that great.

The service was awesome, with the manager coming out a couple of times to see how we were doing. We even had a complementary birthday desert - such a nice touch.

Service was extremely slow, quality of food was poor as it did not meet expectations. They also did not charge us for a couple of items that were not satisfactory. All in all we were a little disappointed with the overall experience. Most likely not to recommend to others.

Brand new restaurant. Use to be Ceilis and they really took the time to renovate tastefully. Matt who served us, seem liked the owner too? Accommodated our order with no issues and was great service. The fried chicken is the all star and was delicious! The corn bread and coleslaw was yummy too. I’d pass on the Mac & cheese and the corn unfortunately. There was 50% bottles of wine on Tuesday which was a bonus. Definitely going back.

We were blown away by how good the food was here, from the perfectly fried chicken to the coleslaw to the corn bread. We ordered the whole chicken family meal and a side of fries and the wedge salad. Best wedge salad we’ve ever had! Loved the addition of fresh avocado and radish and there was lots of dressing just the way it should be. The service was great, our server Irene was very attentive and was a happy person which is so important to have this is a server when you go out these days. The chef came out and talked to us after the meal to see how everything was and we really appreciated that. The chicken skin was so delicious as was the chicken. If you like fried chicken you 100% need to try this place! Also, I really loved the decor, so inviting and clean. Richmond has been needing a place like this for a long long time. I will definitely be coming back for a girls night! Thank you for making our dining experience so pleasant and my Mother and Husband were so impressed with the food.
