   I love the ambiance of Creperie Du Village! It’s a beautiful, small quaint restaurant in the heart of Aspen. It has a very romantic feel, perfect for a date night! The one thing that bothers me is their prices are very high even for Aspen standards. $135 for cheese fondue with bread & no accompaniments is very high (for three people). I know I’ll be back but I keep that in mind when making a reservation.

   Everything was really perfect and wonderful and couldn’t ask for better… then they decided to start cleaning the grill while customers were still there eating… it’s a very small space!… they didn’t have the exhaust fan on or something as the whole place filled with noxious smoke and it really killed the end of a fantastic meal….really a tachy call on their part! … definitely go because it’s wonderful and lived up to the hype - but go early!

    Came here for my birthday and it was okay. I definitely was expecting the overall experience to be slightly more elevated. Our fondue had an odd taste & smell, I enjoyed the raclette more.

    We had New Year’s Day brunch at French Alpine Bistro. It was cozy and chic. We shared the French onion soup, the quiche, the schnitzel, and the pistachio crepe. Everything was delicious. Shortlisted for best meal of 2023.

    Amazing atmosphere!!! Food was not fitting for the prices but the staff was friendly and accommodating considering it’s NYD and they had a lot going on. I’d go back for a small bite and drinks - save the money and forgo the more expensive entrees.

    I would give this place zero stars if I could. The food doesn’t taste good and I saw people sending dishes back to the kitchen. I don’t recommend this place. Terrible experience.

    There is a buzz about this place on Pinterest and I’m really glad we tried it out. The food was excellent!! We had originally planned on having the fondue but were easily swayed to have the beef bourguignon as our main course and were delighted with our decision. We shamefully splurged and had a Midnight In Paris and it was delicious!

    Amazing ambiance! Busy, warm and cozy inside with unique decor and excellent options for wines and food. Tables are close, but not too close and the waiters are good at working around them. We went for brunch and were impressed. Happy they had gluhwein - I love on a cold day. French onion soup was superb.

    The food and service was excellent. Aspen is a very expensive place to dine. I have no problem paying for good food and service but other restaurants we dined at during our trip did not meet the expectation of quality of food and service for the price. Alpine Bistro certainly does and it definitely checks all the boxes. I wish we had eaten here at the beginning of our vacation rather than the end of the trip as I would have come back again as so many wonderful choices on the menu

    Was really excited to try the food, ambiance and menu looked great, however I made a reservation, arrived early, but we were not attended to for 35+ minutes since the time we were seated. Waiter was standing around glanced at our table several times but unfortunately we were never offered to order our drinks, therefore I could not wait around any longer and walked out. Frankly, I was disappointed after reading some great reviews and not being able to enjoy a meal, or have a good experience.

    The restaurant has potential but the service lacks. Secondly, we unfortunately went on a night that they seated top large tables of 10 + women for a bachelorette party. The noise level was off the charts! Additionally, the kitchen seemed to be completely overwhelmed. The manager was aware that we were not happy and comped us for some of our meals and drinks, which was a nice jester. I would try this restaurant again assuming that I wouldn't be subjected to any further bachelorette parties.

    Amazing service, food was delicious probably the best filet mignon and crepe I’ve ever had (highly recommend the midnight in Paris crepe). Ambience was amazing very cozy smaller restaurant but decorated nicely. Candle lit dinner. Food was 10/10. Wine a little overly priced and not that good IMO.

    As a local who grew up here and has been to the Creperie many times, I was disappointed that they had to increase their prices so much. I am sure it has to do with their small space and all of the other factors, but my 16 year old daughter made a point of telling us that the Caesar Salad was $39 and that it seemed out of line. We enjoyed the food but the value is not there anymore.

    This place attempts to feel like a small Stube in the Alps, and it generally succeeds. Portions are small - 2 pieces of raclette buttressed by a small baguette/ficelle or 6 tiny escargots swimming in sauce with two toasts. Still, the food was good, the fresh waitstaff was giving in their best, and the feel is authentic. The music, as loud as it was, was a bit of a distraction, and the tracks varied from Alp-style music to (a lot) of Tracy Chapman. A little weird but only because of the volume. Skip the gluhwein and go for the desserts. Not much value here but a fun night.

    A $29 Salade paysanne floating on water at the bottom of the dish, no flavor, the egg was not even "poached" as it should be. An undercooked coq au Vin, almost cold, and an overpriced & tasteless Wagyu burger at $48 will make you skip French Alpine Bistro from your list of good restaurant in Aspen. Also be ready to keep your coats because the place is very cold inside.
