Gaetano's

Have enjoyed Gaetano's for many years not only for the delicious food that is offered but by the friendliness of those who work there. Every time I get ready for another night there, I just think of those tangy mussels, a glass or two of wine and whatever I choose as an entree. Terry takes care of us while sitting at the bar and if we do sit at a table, the staff looks out for out every wish.

It was our first time at this restaurant. We made reservations and was seated quickly. They have on-site parking so you will not have to deal with finding street parking which can be a pain in Stoneham. The food is well priced and Amazing. Well I ordered a ceasar salad, my date ordered Broglimenta. The portions were big enough for us to split. Visit this place! We will be back

Food and service was outstanding! The menu was fabulous with lots to choose from and the specials all sounded delicious.

We travel 30 minutes to dine at Gaetano's and it is worth the time. Always great food and service to go with it. Such a wide assortment of delicious varieties from the appetizers to main courses and a terrific pizza if one feels like it.

Never disappointed. For quality and value this restaurant can't be beat. My wife and I always try to sit at the bar even during Covid 19 ( which has been modified to provide a safe dining experience). Terry makes each visit enjoyable. She is the best!

Gaetano's was recommended to us by a friend. We expected more but it was just a basic
primarily red sauce Italian restaurant. The menu teased that the dishes would offer more. My veal saltimbocca was just okay, but disguised by a lot of pasta. My husband's veal marsala had more flavor than my entrée but lacking any sophistication in the interpretation of the dish. We had tripe as an appetizer and it was what we expected, but swimming in red sauce. Wine list was okay. Bread served was stale.

The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. I haven't been here in years, and it was even better than I remembered. Looking forward to going back soon.

Always a great dinner at Gaetano’s...the new enclosure on the patio looks fabulous!!

We were completely surprised at how wonderful the food and service was. The owner took so much pride in everything he did and was so humble. We also appreciated that he made sure folks who were waiting in line had their mask on properly and was very kind in asking.

I didn’t realize they had a brunch menu on Sunday’s. I had the crab cake Benedict and it was delicious. Will definitely be back for brunch

First time at this restaurant...will definitely return....very casual, relaxed and meals were very good. Service by Francesca was outstanding....

We dined outside with a heater and had a lovely evening. The food and service was wonderful.

We have not been for many years but thought of it recently. Thought the foos was quite good! The waitress seemed rather miserable. That was a downer.

You can't go wrong with this restaurant for quality of food and service. Gaetano's is a hidden gem in Stoneham with Boston ambiance. Last Sunday I had the short ribs which were outstanding. Slow cooked to perfection. My wife had veal saltimbocca which was delicious and the serving size provided a meal for the next day.

This restaurant never disappoints. Food and value are as good as the North End but the value and parking are better. Friendly staff. Tiramisu is delicious!

Food was delicious, but we waited longer than normal to be brought to our table

I had the lobster roll which was as not very good. It was mushy which make me think it was frozen lobster. Certainly not worth $24. The fries were good though

All in all an excellent restaurant. We came from the South Shore to meet some friends and all of us enjoyed the restaurant. The food , atmosphere and service were great.

Excellent as usual

Went to Gaetano's for the first time in 20 years. Our last time there was not a great experience. Thought we'd give it a 2nd chance. The muscles were delicious and very fresh. Decent food and service.

Reservations are right on. No more than ten minute wait, Edison is a gracious host and the patron is always his main concern . Stefani our server was pleasant and her knowledge of the menu was par excellence. This is a hidden jewel

The food,bartender that waited on us at high-tops,and the atmosphere
were all very good! Maggie,the bartender, made it a great evening!
The clam sauce/pasta was yummy,and the shrimp I ordered was so
delicious. Great caesar salad,too. We will go again soon!

We went on lobster Wednesday August 12 and were very disappointed. Two of us ordered the baked stuffed lobster which I have done before and has been good. Well we first get two fried lobster and they took it back. Then comes out with two what looked to be baked stuffed lobsters. It looked like they took the two fried lobsters and did a redo. It only had stuffing mix. There was just a few very small pieces of lobster. No lobster tail at all. It was the worse ever. Will never get that again. Very disappointed.
