It was one of the best food experiences for us. Everything was excellent!
This is our first visit to Ireland. I was searching on Open Table for restaurants close to our hotel, Powerscourt, and came across Galito. I was a little nervous since we'd never been to Bray and the hotel staff told us we should go to Greystones instead. But we decided to go for it anyway...and we are so glad we did. It's a quaint Tapas restaurant that looks very new in comparison to everything else around it. The servers are friendly and welcoming. They serve Wine, Beer and Wine cocktails. I highly recommend the Ginger Rooster. It was delightful! We ordered the Olives, Sauteed Mushrooms and potatoes with Chorizo and fried egg to start. It was all very tasty. My only suggestion would be to add a sauce like poutine or some form of a gravy to the potatoes. Otherwise it was very good. We then ordered the seafood paella and sauteed shrimp. Both dishes were delicious. We were really happy with our dinner and highly recommend Galito!
Galito has a pleasant atmosphere with helpful staff and excellent food for sharing. Bray needs it! Go and support it!
I have been to Galito several times and gave it a good review for Tripadvisor also. The staff are welcoming and the atmosphere pleasant. I find the tapas varied and enjoyable, with both Portuguese and Spanish influences. It is good value.
I like Portuguese wine, so this is fine.
Bray needs places like this, so go and support it!
Galito, while being on the Main Street, is easy to miss. It is opposite the Royal hotel
