   Great food and overall experience but they were clearly under staffed as the service took very long. We waited close to 30 minutes for our first drinks which was frustrating given they told us we only had 90 minutes to eat after being seated. I’m pretty sure this was a Covid rule that most restaurants stopped doing for obvious reasons but I guess some are still hanging on to it. We’ll probably be back but again as the pizza is great but they should try to increase staff (I know this is tough currently) and most importantly, stop telling people how long they have to eat when being seated, it’s in poor taste, especially for a pizza place.

   Great restaurant and good vibes. Hostess was attentive and the waiters were consistent and professional. The food was really well prepared and every bite was good. Perfect size portions and drinks were t too expensive. We had the rigatoni and the lasagna.

   If you’re in the mood for authentic pizza, and authentic Italian food with creative twists, Gallucci is it. Primarily a high end pizza palace, the rest of their menu shines as well. Service is great. Ambiance is comfortable. And the bill won’t break the bank.

    Galluci’s food and service is consistent and great! We love the staff and the food is delicious, ALWAYS. It’s a great value and energetic spot for a girls night out, date, or to bring your family from out of town.

    We chose Gallucci because of a recent email from Open Table. A friend and I are on a mission to sample different pizzas throughout Chicagoland, so the review of Gallucci intrigued us. Both of us found the salad and pizza we ordered to be truly delicious, and very different from other pizzas we had tried. Sadly, the noise level in the restaurant was a huge negative for us. It appears that in urban America, restaurateurs now conflate overwhelming noise with success - or conviviality. I am saddened by this trend, as dinner out with friends should be about connecting and talking, as much as it is about the food. But I am reluctant to return to a restaurant - no matter how good the food and service - when I leave and find myself deafened by the noise, and with a sore throat and diminished vocal capacity because I have had to spend the evening shouting to be heard. I'm not sure why this is considered to be an enjoyable experience.

    This place would be so Great if it wasn’t for the suuuper Loud Dance music. I mean - hey - you make one of Chicago’s best pizzas, but wouldn’t go back because music was Loud and so off the Vibe of the place. ADD to that the service was pretty rude. A shame, again because food is Great but everything else is not working for them. And they charged us for an extra glas os wine even though we ordered a bottle….

    First visit and was terrific. True Neapolitan pizza. Meatball appetizer, burrata and beet salad, pizzas, wine and beer had a consistent theme of quality ingredients and great tasting. Staff extremely knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. We will return .

    It is possible to eat real Neapolitan pizza - some of them are gourmet too! Products are fresh and valuables, drink are super, and the service is pretty accurate. The only side note is that sometimes you feel in a rush. The reservation is only for 90 minutes, and the server sometimes was bringing back the dishes while we were still eating

    Had a reservation for 6:30. Table wasn't ready, so had to wait outside for 20 minutes while watching parties who came in after us get seated before us. Hostess was extremely apologetic, and said some tables were not abiding by their 90 minute policy. When finally seated, our table was by the door, so we either had people crowding around our table because they didn't want to wait outside, or froze as people trying to get in held the door open. Noise level was not 'energetic' it was just very loud and difficult to hold a conversation with people sitting right next to me. Pizza was good, but not good enough to compensate for the poor dining experience. Wait staff was attentive.

    Great vib and great service. Personally I like more crispier crust, but others in my party thought the pizza was exceptional. I had the pasta which was very good. I would recommend!

    We had a delightful dinner here Thanksgiving weekend. The octopus appetizer was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and very tender. Salads were great, especially the beet and burrata salad. We shared the Tagliatelle Bolognese which was a lovely rich sauce served over ribbons of fresh pasta. The pizzas were delicious with a nice chewy crust. Service was perfectly paced.

    The meatball appetizer with crostini was perfectly seasoned, covered in shredded basil and the marinara sauce was so flavorful - maybe the best meatball I've ever tasted! And the Regina pizza was delicious - my companion had the gluten free pizza (same toppings) and her dough was fluffy and tasted like it could have been glutenous (it was that yummy). Service was really attentive, and the hostess at the beginning of our night was truly welcoming. Great experience.

    Overall a very nice experience. The restaurant was crowded as would be expected on a Saturday night in Chicago. My only problem was that it was so dark in the restaurant that my husband and I could not read the menu very well. The details of the dish's ingredients was typed in a color and font too faint for our over 55 y/o eyes - even with reading glasses. Fortunately, our 30-something children could read it to us. Highly recommend the rigatoni alla vodka.

    Great for a younger audience who likes more energy and close quarters. Food nicely prepared and very tasty, but very hard to hear your partner's conversation or the waiter. Will return on a weekday.
