We had a fabulous dinner for mum’s birthday. Everything was outstanding! Really love Garfish!

Lovely lunch at an outside table. Great selection of fish and other dishes. I had the grilled Dory which was excellent. Slight disappointment that the side of baby spinach leaves with beetroot and goats cheese didn’t have dressing. Impeccable service. Great to dine at a restaurant where you can talk without needing to shout. Will definitely be back here.

A very relaxing evening

We enjoyed our NY Eve dinner very much except for a slight hiccup in ordering - my wife wanted a medium steak but was told “Chef” will only cook medium rare or well done due the special event which was disappointing considering the cost . She ended up ordering something else which was fine but......

My partner and I booked a table for an early dinner on New Year’s Eve. Was a 3 course set menu with complementary bubbles in arrival. Staff were amazing, food was delicious and the live music was outstanding! As always, I will be returning soon!

A hidden gem in Crows Nest. Odd location but a great menu and totally worth the visit.

Our first waiter did not communicate well and her demeanor seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else.

Boring, average, overpriced food. Salads served with seafood were basic and small. Piece of fish tiny and dry. No sauces offered, just a basic meal could do better at home.

Expensive, small portion, not many main dish options. outdoor seats are basically on the street. Booked 4wks prior but allocated us just outside near the doorway although many other seats were available. The waitress was very rude. Main dishes didn’t come with any vegi so ordered salad on top. Very small portion boring green oily salad it was. Linguine was really disappointing. Couldn’t find any crab meat. Dessert were ok. Wine suggestion was good. I don’t think I will visit there again.

The six of us had a lovely meal on Sunday lunchtime. Our waitress was excellent .
All fish was beautifully cooked and everyone loved their entrees and mains. Perhaps they didn't love their desserts but everything else was fantastic. I chose the affogato which was perfect...but of course there is little to go wrong with an affogato.
Reasonably priced also.

A great selection of delicious entrees. The mixed oyster plate is a favourite.

Lunch on 6 December was the fourth time I've been to been to Garfish Crows Nest in the last 12 months. On each occasion, the food has been superb. The service has ranged from very good to excellent. Only (very slight) criticism is that when crowded, the ambient noise can make it a little difficult to hear others at the table.
Overall, can't recommend highly enough.

Food as always excellent and wine list gives plenty of choices to suit all pockets. The bugs were something special.

no aircon on a 40+ degree day in SYD was had to enjoy our meal.

Nice menu with some innovative dishes,fish cooked beautifully.

Hadn't been here for a little while so was nice to be reminded why we like it so much. Won't be so long between visits next time.

Staff in general were pleasant,bit of attitude from one or two which was definitely unnecessary and unwarranted as we are not difficult or demanding clients.

We enjoyed our lunch, food was great, service was outstanding, definitely visit again.

Good was excellent and the prawns in particular were spectacular however ebryone loved their meals and were envious of others choices.

We have several times before. Previously we found the food much better than last visit. The dishes we had were all bland and overpriced. The wine list whilst fairly comprehensive was over priced

Great lower north shore option for dinner. The service was very professional and helpful. The menu is obviously seafood focussed and all our meals were great.

Always good food, prices are up & no more BYO (sad).

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Started with some great cocktails like whisky sour. Loved the snapper pie.

Good restaurant that could be better. Used to be better food at prices not cheap, now it all feels very much like a cafeteria.
