A short work from Glasgow Central Station, on the corner of West Nile Street and Drury Street, Gaucho Glasgow is proudly Scotland’s first carbon-neutral steak restaurant and the second in our collection of restaurants that can be found in Scotland serving Argentina’s best free-to-roam, grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef, big Latin flavours alongside a premium wine list.

Gaucho Glasgow is the latest in our collection of restaurants to reflect the new Gaucho 2.0 design, drawing influence from modern Argentina. As you enter the restaurant, you will be met with sophisticated interiors, with rich and glamorous texture and tones. Enjoy a drink in our cocktail lounge or make your way into the dining area for a relaxed working lunch or an intimate dinner in one of our booths. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the restaurant has a very nice ambiance. But I think the steak is expensive for the quality and the wine mark up seems higher than average.

Itson menu offered great options for a fraction of the price. Fantastic food and great service. Delicious cocktails. Wine by the glass at £9.25 was surprisingly expensive. A discretionary service charge of 12.5% was added to the bill but happy to pay because the service was impeccable. The cut of meat was the best EVER (so tender, juicy and melted in the mouth).

Totally over priced. The food was lovely but £9 + for a glass of wine and £3 charge to swap cream for ice cream seems excessive. Not great value for money at all.

My experience at Gaucho Glasgow, was outstanding. Incredible food paired with unmatched personal service made this visit perfect. Special mention to Sam who dealt with our table personally for the entire duration of our visit, he made us feel like royalty and was overall a fantastic host.

My husband and I dined here on a Thursday night. The fillet steaks we had were excellent as was the service. Our server Allie was very helpful and attentive but frankly we feel it is overpriced. Our bill for two mains, a bottle of wine, a shared dessert, two coffees and two single brandies was £160. This included an automatically added service charge of 12.5 per cent which is discretionary and will be removed on request but who really wants to be that person! Overall an enjoyable meal but the high prices for both food and drinks mean we won't be back.

Did not realise this restaurant was dog friendly, until we were seated next to a very large dog. Not something I want to do when out for a nice meal. I suffer from bad allergies so we ended up being moved to a table at the bar area outwith the restaurant which was disappointing. A lot of waiting about before we were re seated. I feel that the restaurant was overpriced for mediocre food and service. Have been to much better steak restaurants and am happy to pay a premium for good food and service. Sadly we didn’t receive this here so wouldn’t return. On another note over £25 added to the bill as a service charge for 2 adults and 2 children is far too excessive. We paid as didn’t want to cause a scene and our experience wasn’t due to the waitress, she was very nice. Just another reason I wouldn’t return.

Visited Guacho for Mothers day. Was a lovely experience from start to finish. Olivia our waitress was very attentive and so lovely. The sprial cut fillet is out of this world.

This was the second time on this restaurant, the first one was very disapointed; however, this time was perfect. The beef came on exact cook point, the wine was very good. The desert were magic. The waiter should be a bit more simpathetic, and smile when serving.

Very attractive restaurant with great friendly attentive staff, however order a steak that’s what you get, nothing else on the plate, side of chips £6:00. Three of the choices of wine were not available. So many other places in Glasgow will be a while before I would return here .

Lovely interior, service was good and knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately the food was below par for the money. The sun dried tomato mac and cheese and salad was bland. The salad consisted of a small bundle of salad leaves but said house salad on the menu. Very pricey for what was received.

Came to gaucho for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter Juliana was brilliant and made the experience even better, also appreciated the staff being able to make me the truffle macaroni cheese as a main course as I am vegetarian. Will most definitely be back and made our night even more special !

The meal sizes are quite small, and both times we ordered drinks we had to wait almost 25 minutes for them to arrive, the restaurant wasn't that busy so that confused us. Would I visit again, at present, no as the prices are a bit steep, especially given the current climate in the UK but would possibly in the future

Decor was lovely. Service good. Wine by the glass very overpriced, particularly red wine. Charged 12.5% service charge on voucher and spend in restaurant. Sharing steak was tasty and good sized portion but let down by amount of fat/grizzle in it. Expected better from the quality of beef described on website.

Absolutely splendid. I stopped the other night with my dog, Alan, and had a wonderful experience. Initially Edward looked after me at the bar before I was taken to my table. He showed a wealth of knowledge on all different beverages, giving great insight and recommendations. Then once I was taken to my table, which was lovely and quiet next to a delightful older couple, the person that was looking after me was brilliant too. Sorry I missed their name as my dog was being a cheeky rascal to gentleman next to me when the waiter came over. To the man next to me, if you are reading this I do apologise, he doesn’t normally do that. I digress, back to the meal, I decided to opt for a carafe of the Malbec on Edwards recommendation and it was delicious. It went perfectly with my ribeye which was cooked exactly how I like it. Alan loved his fried egg, he wolfed it down. We were well looked after throughout our time at the restaurant, and for it being my first time I left overjoyed with how wonderful and experience it was. I have already told family members about it, and I think Alan has told his doggie friends at daycare too. I can’t wait to come back.

Was a brilliant night out, would highly recommend. We were very well looked after by Ahmet, he was so knowledgeable and very helpful. Not to mention the food was incredible, the cocktails were great and all the staff were so friendly and attentive. Would absolutely highly recommend, just brilliant.
