   Horrible. Made a reservation for 10 and when I arrived one of the servers advised me that the kitchen was closed and was no longer serving food. I asked her, what’s the point of making a reservation if when you arrive at the restaurant they close the kitchen and you can’t eat? She told me I reserved the table not the food. I thought she had poorly picked a moment to make a joke… she wasn’t joking. IM SPEECHLESS

   Weekend getaway with friends. We finished our day with an amazing supper at this lovely restaurant. The service was exceptional and all three of us enjoyed our meals.

   We were there on Christmas afternoon. The person who greeted us was very poised and professional. Our server was outstanding. Her timing was perfect and everything about her made us feel special. The food was good...nothing spectacular although it was Christmas day so I suspect it was thin staffing. Our table was excellent with a great view of the street.

    Surprising good meal for a hotel restaurant. I had the burger and fries and was very happy with my meal. Server was nice and gave our part of 4 separate checks without any fuss.

    Went for an anniversary dinner and the restaurant didn't even acknowledge it even though I mentioned it in the booking. Once the waiter came he notified us that there was no chicken and only fish. We ended up ordering. Food portion was really small for the price and bismisal at best. No drinks menu was provided. Waiter didn't even come back to ask about food just came with Bill for payment. Would not recommend this. Seating is very limited.

    To be honest, my first time at this restaurant for a business meal. To pricey for what it worth, long service for 1 caesar salads and 2 pat thaï. My salads was terrible, to much mayonnaise and cheap chicken like store bought. Las time there for lunch, better for drinks

    We did not have a good time here. Nobody greeted us at the front when we walked in. We stood around for 5 minutes before I wandered into the dining area and found someone. After letting them know that we were there for a reservation, she waved her hand at me and said "Yeah, I'll be there in a minute". Turns out she was the hostess. So not a great first impression. We were a group of four adults. We all ordered simple breakfast meals (all essentially the same two egg meal with a meat side and toast). The server didn't write anything down. None of the meals had the correct options when they arrived. Three people ordered scrambled eggs, we received four meals with fried eggs. One person ordered orange juice, three people ordered coffees - we received four orange juices and one coffee. It all got sorted out, but we could have paid half the price at a hole in the wall diner and received the same quality of food. I would not return here given this experience.

    We returned to Gazette after eating there on a trip to Montreal a few years back. The meal then was good enough for us to return. This meal was great too. This time, I had smoked meat style pork ribs. I was not sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. We'll likely return to Gazette again when we get back up to Montreal.

    The food here was surprisingly delicious! We had the lobster salad and grilled octopus for appetizers - both were mouth watering and cooked to perfection. The lobster salad had such a unique flavour with the hint of mint. The dinner portions are very large, enough for two to share. Overall, really yummy!

    No gluten free menu or options on menu besides telling the waitress to tell the chef to make the dish gluten free. No hostess for ten minutes while we waited. Salmon dish very good. Ribs just ok. Should not be put on top of cole slaw

    The staff was very accommodating as our initial reservation was for 6 and moved to 12 and down to 10. Made is possible, with a smile. Very good food.
