We visited for Sunday lunch and were surprised at the quality. Very friendly, attentive staff and we will certainly visit again.

Food was lovely although menu wasn’t fully to my expectation and quite expensive. Was over charged on the bill when I had requested an alternate. Lots of staff congregating at the bar both behind and in front, which I found concerning considering we are in a pandemic, no social distancing of staff. Staff were difficult to get attention as they appeared pre occupied in their own conversations.
Loved the Halloween theme. Would consider visiting again for a special occasion but not a regular choice.

Amazing food and service - only down side was a very raucous group who were drinking but not eating and making quite a mess of it pouring alcohol over the floor etc who made it impossible to have a normal conversation so we requested a move outside to escape. Unfortunately none of the outdoor heaters had been turned on and it was too cold to eat without coats etc. We were lucky and the group moved on so we were able to return to our original table. Appreciate it may be hard to manage groups who make lots of noise so hopefully our next visit will be less challenged but would have been nice if they had been asked to turn it dow just a little given we were obviously not the only ones struggling.

Fabulous food, great service. First time visiting and under difficult circumstances but track & trace system in place and appropriate hygiene procedures. Would recommend👌

Felt safe sat outside and not too cold as there was a heater above us. Food was really nice mainly. Cocktails 2 for 10 was good value

Thursday night new menu which didn't realise until we sat down in the bistro but no worries as what we had was lovely. Need to update your website with new offerings as it might get more people in! Not on website was the steak deal for x 2 sirloin meals with bottle of wine for £30 - bargain!
Nice cocktails also which were 2 for 1 in the bar where we moved onto later.

Very good. Would reccommend. Everything was above average...

We have hardly been out to eat since the start of Covid and wanted to go somewhere safe so we booked for the outside dining area. All precautions were taken by the staff and the food was perfect. The noise and language from another table was the only thing that spoilt the experience.

Luke and the team are great, friendly and helpful and the food is spectacular, we had Sunday lunch on this visit and it was outstanding.

Great choice of food, friendly staff, excellent surroundings both indoors and outside a real asset to the area.
Add to this it feels safe.

We weren't lucky enough to be seated inside where it was warm and had a better atmosphere and the staff were more available. However, the food was delicious and we were seated and served promptly and politely. The outside heaters didn't work so it was extra chilly to dine but overall a pleasant experience.

Very busy and social distancing could’ve been better however food delicious. I had the ultimate burger which was huge and extremely tasty and my husband had the halibut which also was excellent. Would definitely visit again but not during these times.

And I know it’s a very difficult time but I was let down with the service
Waited ages to be served and was sat in the outdoor area and it was freezing.
I eventually went up Sara it’s in the mead hall which was so much better.
But it would have been nice to be told that was available.
It is quite noisy up there but I presume it’s because of the high roof.
It won’t put me off coming again as I live it there

This is our third visit recently. Lovely food. Good choice. Value for money. The staff very friendly and helpful

The food was a bit disappointing, the pie was not technically a pie, and the lamb skewers was one tiny lamb chop, a bit overpriced for the size of the portions, although tasted nice.
We could have been sat in a more spacious area as well, but we were seated next to other diners when the entire lower floor was empty. The service was great

Just a wonderful evening all round. The cocktails were fabulous as was the food. The best Crème Brulee I have had outside of France!!

Excellent venue in cleckheaton, beautiful decor both outside and inside. They have also done an excellent job to make the place covid safe in my opinion.
We went for Sunday lunch... it is a touch on the expensive side, but, the food and place and service is excellent.
It’s a very welcome addition to cleckheaton.

We had a great evening last Saturday. Staff were efficient friendly welcoming and couldn’t do enough. Food delightful!

Our first visit to George’s for Sunday Lunch. Extensive menus, good selection of drinks (wines, spirits, cocktails, soft drinks).
The food was well presented, top quality produce and good value for what you get.
The staff were friendly and knowledgable.
Can’t wait to go back and try the other menu!

Pricey for Sunday lunch with the kids but you get what you pay for. The place is really lovely, staff were attentive and efficient and the food was delicious.
Would definitely go back but maybe leave the kids at home!!!!

Booked online. Greeted as we arrived and asked to sign our name for the track and trace. Once seated the service was fantastic. Great food with good sized portions. Would recommend and defiantly return.

Booked an outdoor table for lunch. All the staff we spoke to were very nice and helpful. We all had pizzas, Pepperoni, Ham & Pineapple and Tuna, all were delicious. Would definitely recommend.
