Gertie's Bar and Restaurant

Food ordered from viewing on line menu. What we got did not reflect the pics. In fact, we thought they'd delivered the wrong servings. The waitress said she'd speak to the chef and get back to us, she didn't. Coconut crumb fish beautiful but other mains just ok.

I went with my partner (a Latino) and a couple of our friends (one of whish is also a Latina). We were excited to find a place that did South American style dishes. The food was nice but because they were entrees, they were small. Fair enough, but that meant it was very expensive for those kinds of dishes. I had hoped Gerties would be somewhere we could take guests to show off some of the wonderful flavours of South America, but it isn’t very good value for money so I don’t think we’ll be back.

Amazing staff, love the owner, he is always so kind. The drinks are always amazing, the service is equally as good. Hands down my favourite place in New Farm.

The food is solid, tasty but not overly inspiring. Prices are fair and I’d say the food matches it - no complaints at all. Service cheerful and good - the place was very busy and the atmosphere a lot of fun. A great pace for a dinner with friends but could only stay our allocated 90 minutes which is fine and we understand it but a bit frustrating. Really nice night out.

The place is one of a kind and as the best food and service you could ask for.

My favorite wine bar in Brisbane. Amazing ambiance with great music and low lighting. Tasteful interiors and superb staff who are attentive, friendly and yet not overwhelming.

We had such a lovely late night evening with great cocktails and yummy foods, was a bit too noisy for us , just a little hard to hear over the singer

Not compliant with covid regulations, also waitress kept bringing beer in the glass after we requested in the bottle...

We loved our experience. Staff bent over backwards to accommodate our table preference, food was timely, wine list was extremely good. It felt very personalised and the manager clearly cared about his customers experience. We will come back again and again.

This is a really nice restaurant, coupled with attentive and friendly staff, this place is a must do!

Was a great night, lovely staff and great food. Was sitting next to a loud party which was a bit distracting but not the restaurants fault as the place was small so if they sat anywhere it would have been the same. Overall great night would recommend.

Delicious cocktails and really nice food, fresh calamari, and lovely braised beef and pulled pork, we had the burrito Biel salad and it was fantastic. It has a great art deco feel to it and is super cosy! Perfect bar to end iso.
