銀座 天川

前日にお店から連絡があり、オープンテーブルの予約を消し忘れたのでキャンセルして下さいとの事でした。電話の応答に全く誠意が感じられずこの評価とさせて頂きます。

Opentableで予約した5/27 11:30amにお店に向かうとコロナ対策で臨時休業の張り紙があり、大切な接待でしたので、大変困りました。お店への電話も通じず。まさかキャンセル料金の請求は無いと思いますが、とにかく困りました。

What I got: the higher priced omakase, beer and carafe of sake.
The food was really good - but that's what one would expect at 18,000 JPN (total was 26,250).
Based in the US East Coast, I try to maximize the few chances to eat in Japan - but I think Onodera@NYC, Cagen@NYC were much better. Would recommend going to Sora or other top places. Also, stay at better hotels (such as the Peninsula or Imperial) so that their concierges can book reservations at those hard-to-get places.

Excellent sushi restaurant. Sushi quality is high and they serve vegetables also!? Vegetable sauce is really traditional Japanese “dashi” and Umami was really nice. Sushi chef is very gentle and quiet, so far from irritated sushi chef.

土曜日のランチで花コースをいただきました。3500円とリーズナブルな価格でしたが、握りの数もそこそこあり、どのネタもおいしかったです。カウンターでいただきましたが、こちらの食べるペースに合わせて握ってくださいり、タイミングよく食べることができました。
飲み物は生ビールを頼みましたが、量がもう少しあるとうれしいですね。

予約したのが直前だったため席が確保されて取れておらず満席でしたが、、席が空くまでバーを案内していただきなんとかなりました。料理も美味しく、きちんと対応いただきよかったです

I wanted to try a high end sushi restaurant. I selected the 10.000 yen lunch menu. The quality of the fish was really good, but the volume and the price made it a disappointment overall. You can find far better return for you money at the Tsujiki fish market. Staff was kind, food WAS really good, but the volume at the price, left me unsatisfied and made me wish I had spent my money elsewhere.

Loved it! And they don't speak any English (and I don't speak any japanese!) but, it was perfect! Very good food and service. Nice people!

Top tier sushi joint, very specialized service, fantastic.
