They make you sign a contract when you get there that you’ll pay at least a 20% tip. Service was a little slow.

I scheduled a 5 pm reservation on the same day for this Giordano's. We arrived at 5:05 and were immediately seated. The restaurant was moderately empty, and the waitress, who I believe was named Lexie, stopped by to welcome us and said she would be back to take our drink order. When she came back to take our drinks order, I said that we were ready to order, as we wanted a deep dish pizza, and I knew from experience that the pizzas take 40-45 minutes to be made. We ordered an appetizer plate and the pizza around 5:15 pm. A larger party was seated behind us and also ordered. Our appetizer came around 5:30, and was delicious. Around 6 pm, I tried to wave down the waitress to check on status, and she was occupied with other tables. Around 5 minutes later, she came back- I asked her to check the status of our pizza, as it had been about 45 minutes. She stated that the kitchen staff did not speak English, so it would be hard to communicate with them. I said that was fine, but could she check with someone who could speak to them and ask how long it would be? She came back about 10 minutes later, and said that there was an issue with the printer machine for order tickets and our pizza order had not been started, and asked if we would like her to put the order in now (around 6:20 pm). I said no, we did not want to wait another 45 minutes for pizza. She asked if it was ok if she sent the manager over, and I said yes, I would wait for the manager. The manager came over at 6:30 pm and explained that she heard there was an issue and that she would be happy to pay for our appetizer ($20). I thanked her for covering the appetizer, but was displeased that there was nothing else that could be done. I do not plan to return to this location.

Giordanos used to be one of my favorite places for deep dish. This one was fair. The place has overgrown the space. The pizza was served COLD. I didn’t get that awesome ooey gooey experience lifting a slice out of the pan. UGH

We’ve booked at table for 7.30 pm. It was ready at 8.00 pm. And then we were told we needed to wait 45 min to 1h to have our pizza… thankfully the food was nice and tasty, but waiting time was too long plus service slow and inattentive.

Long wait for table. Once seated the service was also slow. Over 20 mins before we received our drinks. App sampler platter was pretty good but salad and pizza weren’t very good :(
