   We went for a culinary experience on a birthday. Some items were a miss, some other were incredible: empanadas, Branzino, hamachi, and green beans. Incredible pairings that are completely out of the ordinary.

   Every thing was so amazing! My only critique is that our food came out too fast. The table next to us even asked for their food to be spaced out more. A slower pace is better.

   Food was ok, not as great as Duck Duck Goat. The veggie and starters were much better than the main courses. Overall, service was very nice, the host stand felt a little cold.

   Vibe was upbeat. Food excellent! Flavors were dynamic. Probably the worst sever I have had in a long time I am in the customer service industry I would never allow an employee like Katherine to work in my place. Cold, glaring, condescending and lacked attention. You expect a tip along with the health and wellness that is taxed 11.75% not a chance. I would be hesitant to return because a restaurant has to have phenomenal service.

   Our server Josh was absolutely amazing!!! So knowledgeable, very helpful explaining menu items and helped my 10 and 15 yr old kids with their drink and dinner selections with ease. The food is always perfection! We’ve eaten there many times and this trip was even better than the last. We got two orders of the pig face this time and even my daughter loved it (after being skeptical given the name of the dish). She said it was her favorite!!! The green beans are the best we’ve ever eaten and my 10yr old (who is a finicky eater) said it was his favorite menu item). We had several other dishes too and didn’t leave hungry. Overall a great dinner!

    I have been lucky enough to eat at Girl and the Goat a number of times over the past 5 years - they never cease to amaze me with their constantly evolving menu of small plates. Last night was remarkable! special thanks to Florentino, Hunter and team for making our night so special. Of all the dishes we enjoyed, the Hamachi Poke and Pork Shank were the standouts - but everything was incredible and it was so hard to pick a favorite.

    Our server Jonathon was great & super helpful, we were sat at the chefs table and talked to Chef Elizabeth and Chef Shawn & both of them were really nice and enthusiastic about what they were making. thanks for the great experience :)

    Overall this restaurant was delicious! We really enjoyed every bite of the goat empanadas, short rib and lamb ribs. The chocolate cheesecake was one of the best I’ve ever had. This was the most expensive meal we had on our trip, but it was great. The portions are small, so expect to order several dishes if you’re hungry. Our clothes and hair smelled like food afterwards so don’t have big plans afterwards. We will definitely be back next time in town!

    I’m a GM at a restaurant / bar and Thursday is the only time my boyfriend and I can spend together with hectic work weeks. So many people have been telling me about the food here and I was pleasantly surprised. Every dish was amazing! We will def. be back for the shrimp salad and chicken skewers. The goat belly was so tender and delicious! Our server Lucy was very knowledgeable, warm and accommodating. We def appreciated her service and will be back 😊

    We were honored to sit at the chef’s table. The food was amazing! Highly recommend the green beans, whole branzino, and pork. Watching the line staff was amazing…they deserve so much recognition for their hard work and passion. Thank you for an amazing anniversary dinner!

    We've wanted to go here for so long! It definitely lived up to the hype. Every plate was superb and the servers recommendations were spot on. From drinks, to appetizers, to bigger plates and desserts, it was all perfection. Gary, our server was attentive, charming, and an overall delight. We will definitely be back!

    My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary and were treated to the chef’s table and a little surprise with our dessert. The food was amazing and service was great. Only thing that could have made it better would have been meeting Chef Stephanie. It’s a meal we will never forget!

    Delicious meal- every part of the menu (drinks, apps, mains, desserts) deserved to be there. Every bite was great. The restaurant was packed early on a Tuesday night so the only (slight) downside was how loud it was and how close the tables were to each other.

    The strong smell of stargazer lilies overpowered the taste of the food. Im surprised that a florist would put such strong smelling flowers in a restaurant and that a restaurant would allow it. I smelled the flowers b4 I saw them. felt like I was eating stargazer lilies.😟

    We booked the very first reservation at 4:30 which is when the restaurant opens. We waited a few minutes for place to open outside but once open we were seated immediately. Server was welcoming and informative. We shared the naan & dips and chick pea fritters as appetizers. Both delicious. The naan bread was very good and loved the tzatziki dip. My husband and I shared the goat empanadas (the dish had two) and short ribs. They have a great wine and bar collection but if you want a non alcoholic drink they only have one option. However, water was provided to us immediately upon being seated.

    Server was excellent. Gave us great recommendations. Good was amazing. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Like the tapas style to be able to share with the table. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

    Not to be rude but the waitress compared the goat belly to pork belly and it was so far off, it was a very dry texture. Most things were spicy.

    Food and experience were both wonderful! Got last minute reservations and were seated at the food prep area. Highly recommend sitting there because the staff were interactive and so fun watching the food prep. Also learned a lot about the dishes and got great recommendations! Definitely would go back when in Chicago again!
