Haven't been there in several years, glad it was just as I remembered!
Excellent food and service.

We eat here a lot and it is consistently good. Great gluten free pizza, salads, regular pasta and pizza. Quality is excellent. Service is great. Wine specials are usually quite good. Gets very busy, especially during vacation weeks and summer so make a reservation.

The food was excellent, but the music was a bit too loud.

this was our first visit at Guiseppe's and would highly recommend it. From the charming rushing waters of the mill, through the entire process we (two couples) were very impressed, and living w/in 1/2 hour, will make it a destination often.

We should have ordered the pizza. The zucchini apps were heavy breaded. I did like the flavor. Ceasar salad was bland. The chicken piccada was not good. It tasted like chicken soup broth with capers. The pizza looked really good, wish we had ordered that.

The service excellent despite a very busy night for this restaurant with a tour bus having arrived unexpectantly. The manager made sure that we had pretty flowers at our table and took off $10 as a gift! The guitar player/singer really added to the wonderful ambience! Highly recommend this awesome restaurant!!!

Always very good; make a reservation ahead of time; prices reasonable n service very good.

The food is terrible. I have never had to send back a dish before, but did here. Chicken piccata is butterflied or pounded flat, then floured. These were boiled and tossed into pasta with capers and lemon slices. No flavor. This is not Italian food, nor was my wife's marinara which tasted like the can it came out. You will get better food at the corner gas station.

My wife and I have enjoyed their Seafood Fra Diablo for many years and we enjoyed it on our last visit in July of this year. On Sunday, August 25 th, we again went to this restaurant and ordered the Seafood Fra Diablo. When it arrived we noticed that the sauce has totally changed. We were very disappointed with the meal. What was once a very tasty meal has turned into a very bland meal because of the sauce.

We waited over an hour for food after ordering. There were several empty tables during that time. Once received the food was very good.

Our first visit to Giuseppe’s but hopefully not our last! we are from out of state, but on a return trip, we’d certainly consider a return visit. We dined early, at 5:30pm so the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Food and drinks were served in a short time and while our white wine could have been more chilled, we drank it. The dinner entrees (veal parm and seafood fra diavlo) were excellent and steaming hot! Deliciousness abounded and we left very satisfied.

Went on a Monday so it was quiet and very quick service. Salad was very large along with the vegan pasta dish. We had calamari and mushrooms that were also very good.

We visit Giuseppe’s every year, but this year the owner treated us with much disrespect and ignominiously scolded us in public because we booked several tables on the app. The tables were booked an entire week ahead of time but she did not call me until the night before to express her dissatisfaction for the way we booked our reservation. She was rude and acted inappropriately to her guests who brought in at least 1000 dollars worth of business. I was devastated because this is a yearly event for us with many fond memories. She has left a bitter taste that I will never forget.

Arrived and were told we had to be in Grotto. When I booked I was on main website and was not told I would be downstairs.
That was ok.
Ordered meal. I ordered Minestone soup and a pizza. My wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs.
We also ordered 2 drinks.
When I ordered my soup I requested that it be very hot as I don not like lukewarm soup. Waiter said it would be toasty.
Drinks arrived 3 minutes later with soup. Drinks were very good, soup was lukewarm. Waited 5 minutes for waiter, he apologized and went to warm soup.
3 minutes later he came back with soup. It was hot but unfortunately it was not minestrone.
2 minutes later our meals arrived. Pizza was dry And below standard.
My wife’s spaghetti was watery and bland.
Both meals were not worth eating.
Waitress came after 10 minutes and asked how it was. There was a pizza there with one slice eaten an my wife’s meal basically untouched. We told her the problem and she asked us if we wanted leftovers boxed to go. We explained to her how bad they were and she giggled!
After the manager came over and we explained what happened her best solution was not to charge us for pizza and spaghetti.
We left there paying 22 dollars for 2 drinks and a soup I did not request.
We have been going to Giuseppe’s when we are in Meredith for 15 years and could not believe what happened.
Our disappointment was beyond belief, both from the meal and the reaction.

The food was good but a little bland for my taste. Service was a bit slow. Overall, a little disappointing.

Food was amazing and very reasonably priced, service was great and so was the music! Absolutely coming back soon.

Inside needs renovations. Outside patio great. Our waiter Andrew was terrific. Runners do a good job getting food out. I got the worst martini ever so not sure what happened there. The mussels looked like someone dumped a can of diced tomatoes on it. Not much flavor. Linguine with clam sauce had cream in it not sure what Italian town does it like that. Would I go back, probably not

Julie the Hostess and her very professional staff present the best dining experience in the Lakes Region. It’s not a coincidence that Giuseppes is not part of the Common Man group, they are anything but common. They know people, they can accommodate tons of people on a busy holiday, or keep it real personal in the off-season. If you dine here, tip the staff generously they so deserve it!!!

My favorite place to go at the lake. Everything in the menu always looks great, but their chicken Marsala is what i judge all others by.

The restaurant is located in an old mill building and has a rustic but warm feel to it. Service is always outstanding and the food is delicious. You should make a reservation as it is a very popular place and frequented by guests at the many inns and hotels in the area.

Food was average, friendly staff and good location but did not care for the food.

Went with friends for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. I had the chicken cacciatore, it was made with all fresh ingredients, chicken was tender and juicy.

Awesome gluten-free pizza, the best we have ever had! Didn't even seem like a gluten-free crust. The waiter had to assure us that it truly was gluten-free. Simply Awesome!

This was at least our fourth visit to Giuseppe’s. The chicken cacciatore was delicious as was the garlic bread. The pizza is very good too. Make sure to make reservations. This is a very popular spot!

Server was lovely but understaffed that night. All staff was extremely busy. They were as attentive as they could be. Our pizza was undercooked( raw green peppers?) and appetizer was mediocre. Dissapointed from what we expected

We had two adults and four kids - they asked us to leave because they had another reservation and we were still finishing up. Our server was awesome but the hostess was unfriendly.

Excellent time and food! We luckily had made reservations because the previous year we waited an hour for a table for four. This time with the reservation we were seated right away. The server was so sweet. Always had refills of water and bread and very attentive. They don’t really know much about wine (or how to open or pour) but so nice, who cares?! The food was AWESOME. Our favorites were the mushrooms, steak tips and vegan pasta (which we actually added chicken to). Delicious. The live music was really loud, so if you are sensitive to noise plan ahead, but it was very good. All and all a terrific experience!

Always good

We've met with friends at Giuseppe's at a Sunday night to share a lot of stories. We had a reservation and worked fine. Service was attentive, but a bit pushy as if the table was needed for another seating. Food (pasta) was ok, but not great. The main impediment was the live music playing that night, different couples of "musicians" blaring loud and sometimes false titles. A conversation was really difficult. If there will be a next time, it should be in their downstairs dining room where no music is being offered.
