Go Fish Seafood And Sushi Bar
Food and staff were amazing. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely return.
Good food, good service , but a little too noisy!
Parking is inconvenient and limited. Not being able to walk in handicap entrance was frustrating. Once you are in side everything is beautiful. Waiting area, lovely. Bar very nice. Drinks are extremely high priced for Berks County. Food delicious also high priced but worth it. All the staff was delightful. Will recommend but will warn about the prices.
To quote my teenage daughter “I could eat here everyday”. I second that.
Sushi is excellent. Seafood enters wonderful. Cocktails superb.
The food was very fresh tasting. The sushi rolls were a good size. The clam chowder was excellent! Ready to go again.
Our party of 4 was visiting for the first time. We all discussed how equally pleased we were with the atmosphere, the food, the drinks and the service. We will all definitely visit again!
Variety of food, including sushi, perfectly prepared. Service excellent and staff very friendly and engaging.
Loved the new space. Our sushi appetizer was outstanding along with our main course of branzino. Drinks were also tasty
New location is nice. Menu is great. Food seemed expensive, considering there is no included salad and portions are on the small side. Service was slow. Cocktails took a very long time.
This restaurant is really hitting its stride! The scallop & pork belly small plate was absolutely perfect-salty crisp seared scallop with the melt in your mouth pork belly & microgreens. I could have had three! The sushi rolls were magical! Very tasty & super fresh sashimi with a glass of crisp vino verde- sublime!
Had 8:30 reservation, arrived at 8:20, hostess said they were getting table ready to go ahead and have a drink at bar, I will come and get you. At 9:20 we were still not seated, once I complained we were sat but they were sold out of 3 items we chose to eat. I complained to a manager had we been seated on time perhaps I could eat what I wanted. At this time they gave us a complimentary cocktail. Poor remedy for a special night
Food was impeccable. Timing was unbelievable. Would and will definitely return.
Love this restaurant! The food is always outstanding, the servers are great, the drink menu is creative and evolving, and it is the ONLY place I go for sushi. Best. Restaurant. Ever!
Valentine’sDay dinner ❤️
Wonderful place for excellent seafood & sushi!
A hidden gem. Well worth the drive in if you’re coming from out of town.
This was our first time at the new location, and we loved the new atmosphere! I’ve always loved your sushi, and you still didn’t disappoint. The only thing my husband would say is his meal was a little small, but it tasted great!
My husband & I chose to have a pre-valentine’s dinner at Go Fish.
The atmosphere was very comfortable. Our server was attentive until we completed our meal. It started to get busy & we had to flag her down for our check.
The food was delicious- we both had scallops served with risotto. I did feel the meal was a bit overpriced. We were served 4 scallops & the price was $29. Per
This was a special occasion since we don’t eat out very often.
I would recommend Go Fish to my friends with the caveat that the menu was limited & a bit pricey.
Thought the drink prices were a little expensive. The staff, food, and atmosphere were exceptional. I would recommend dining there.
My only complaint is I think your wine prices are too high. I truly miss the days when you were a BYOB. Your sushi is still outstanding and I love the added Happy Hour specials.
Heather and team: you’ve knocked it out of the park again… Sushi was delicious and so was the fish special… Arthur makes one-of-a-kind fabulous drinks… Service was terrific!
The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a perfect place for date night.
Food tasted great BUT got very very little for the price and, considering the specialty was fish, there should have been more of a selection. Everything is a la carte. Also, rest rooms are not gender specific so, if you are a woman, you have to clean up before using the toilet. Dinner HERE will cost you more than any other restaurant in Berks County.
This was our second time at Go Fish. After having a great first experience, our second trip left us feeling like we will not return. We were seated at a high top table by the bar which wasn't too far from the front door. I was freezing the entire time. Our server was polite, but not very attentive. It took nearly an hour to get our order which was only 3 rolls. Our order was incorrect upon receipt.
The kitchen needs to try to keep up or not book as much. The wait staff is amazing and apologetic. We waited almost an hour for our dinner. Your sushi is outstanding and I will never say a bad word about the value or the quality. The soup that I ordered for home(because I have a cold), was $28 dollars and totally not worth it at all(good..... but $28 dollar soup? For that money I thought it would be amazing.... it was good). The staff you have is amazing!!
My entree was good, but the salad was awful. The menu said it had pecans and cheese and butternut squash which sounded good, but when it came it only had two pecans and very scant cheese sitting on top of a ridiculous mountain of lettuce. It was dry and tasteless. It would have been much better with a lot less lettuce and a little more of the pecans and cheese. Also the chairs were hard as a rock. As an older woman with back problems I found it painful sitting there even after just a short time.
Everything from the time we entered the door was perfect. Our server was knowledgeable and extremely interactive and polite. There was a great variety of food options. And everything was absolutely delicious! This is a place we will definitely be going back to time and time again.
This was the second time we were here. First time we sat at the bar, this time a high top. Well it was esay to see that the people sitting at the bar got the most attention. We were relatively ignored for most of our time there. The waitress was apologetic as she was way over worked by working the bar and several tables. The food was good. The small plate I got with 2 scallops and pork belly was way over priced just because it looked fancy. The sushi was great and next time, yes there will be a next time, we will be sure to get a seat a the bar and by sushi alone.
Again, excellent meal and ambiance. It took quite awhile to get our sushi rolls - maybe because it was very busy.
Would not go again. Reserved for regular table, but were seated at high top table in high traffic area. Table very small (and rocking, as were chairs), bumped by wait staff and customers due to congestion at bar (accidentally of course, but still disturbing). Menu offers "oysters on the half shell" but no number. Those who eat oysters regularly assume they are a dozen. Ordered 6 of each available, again assuming price was for a dozen. Wait staff did not specify number, even when we ordered 12. Got bill and charged $36 for 12 oysters (that we personally did not enjoy as we did not like what was on top of them). Server did not explain/had no knowledge of which oyster was which, again, something that should be done when serving oysters. Had to ask for sliver wear/napkins after our food came. For two of us with total order of 12 oysters, 6 orders of sashimi, one roll, 1 order edamame and 2 drinks each we paid $174 and change including tip. WAY to expensive for what we ordered and for this area/community. We eat sushi and oysters on a regular basis locally and when we travel. We are willing to pay for good food. Entire experience we disappointing and that was before we got the bill.
The wait for food was very long, more than 1 hr. from the time of service of appetizers.
I will come again, if the wait is that long, I will frequent less often.
I love it here! Very nice addition to the area. Great food and ambiance!
Beautiful, cozy atmosphere. Delicious food and cocktails. Loves their attention to small details. We will definitely be back.
The atmosphere is just lovely but that’s where it ends. The food is very expensive and also highly average. The service was also off. It was busy and the bar and service staff was simply overwhelmed.
Food tasted quite good. Plated nicely. But scallops cut in half for an appetizer?
Need a bit more “kid friendly “ dishes. Menu also needs a little more variety.
No wait with reservation. Waitress was attentive. But dishes took some time to arrive (on a Saturday night). Staff and chef were very helpful with questions about food when we made our reservations.
The restaurant is attractive. Nice atmosphere. A bit noisy but not too bad.
They need to work on parking. Will have to use lot across street next time. Minor detail.
Overall, very good. We will definitely return to see how the place is evolving. All the basics are there. Will be glad to see the place settle in. Just needs some tweaking.
First dining experience there and will definitely be back. Food, presentation and service were excellent. Beautiful interior decor. Very enjoyable evening.
Great sushi and cocktails.
The service was slow but I would expect that from a place that has only been open for a few months. Especially when you experience the quality of the food.....you understand why!!
