   Loved it here - we had the best table right in the corner. The 'dry January' cocktails were not too sweet but after we went for Peroni Zero. The two vegan choices of sushi were delicious - we even reordered one. Excellent sound system and playlist choice. Rather than tinny, abrasive sounding speakers theirs are very warm so you can easily hold a conversation across your table. We were already prepared for the 1½ hr time limit so were not surprised when informed we had 15 minutes left - however, we ended up overstaying and were even asked if we wanted more drinks so I think they play it by ear whether they've got more walk-ins from the hotel. Overall, loved it - will be back during the day next time to check the views again.

   The value for what you get is immense, it s the perfect atmosphere for a date night. I would definitely do it again . Everything was perfect . 10/10

   Staff were very friendly and helpful. I found the drink choice a little limited on cocktails but also understand a large list is very difficult to operate at this venue. Did not sample any food so cannot comment on this

   We didn’t eat but had cocktails in Gong Bar. The view is really something and that is reflected in the price of the cocktails…. which were pretty poor in themselves. Not what you would expect in a ‘Cocktail bar’ and for £20 a pop, I’d expect at least a stick of celery in my Bloody Mary or even a fancy glass. I’d also expect a Tom Collins to taste of more than just watered down lemon squash. Staff were very friendly and we had a great table but the drinks let it down for us unfortunately. Would go back for the view but not the drinks.

    Didn't have any food just came here for a pre meal drinks and the views. Obviously 99% of people come here for the views which were absolutely stunning. But sadly this is where it went down hill. We had a table in the pool area through the the main bar, be warned this area is absolutely boiling. We walked in and after 5 mins wished we bought swim wear. Not great trying to enjoy your drinks. The biggest issue is they don't offer menu's (I'm not joking) so if you were like our party and couldn't connect to the WiFi or had reception (it is high remember) you can't order anything!? They supplied us a tablet but again that couldn't connect either. So 20mins of faffing around and being boiling hot was great at a bar like this. Luckily for me I had previously looked and had downloaded the menu. Then our last real gripe was paying £23 for cocktails served in a plastic glass!!! I was shocked. So overall we had the views but our party was mixed on a return. I probably wouldn't bother due to the above reasons.

    We visited for cocktails and whilst we could not be provided a seat by the window, we were moved as soon as one became available. Excellent cocktails and the Chicken Gyoza were outstanding!

    The views were impressive. Food was poor quality in comparison to price paid, far to expensive for what was given. Portions were incredibly small and left us still hungry. Overall would not do it again. I’d recommend another restaurant in the Shard. The vibe was okay, felt a bit uncomfortable as the staff are always hovering very close and keen to get you out as soon as your 1.5 hours is up.

    Kept us waiting in foyer for 25 mins, when we got to restaurant 10 mins after booked time it was half full??? Service so slow we finished 15 mins after our allotted time and still no desert Had to leave to get train Food very good, views great but we won’t go again had service charge removed from bill

    View spectacular drinks ok but expensive with the 30£ minimum per person. Should have options. Stay longer to eat or a shorter stay for who wants just have one drink and take a couple of photos an go. Service wonderful. Smiling and helpful.

    Beautiful view and food was great. Server was super polite and lovely. Felt rushed by the woman who stood by the door who kept reminding us that our time was almost up despite us not even receiving our ice creams yet.. I think this lady needs some tuition in customer service as I found her pushy. The waiter was lovely though.

    Lovely food. Well presented cocktails. Didn't like the multiple pdfs for ordering, as it's confusing and takes you away from the company and view and takes a while to load. Plus had to call people over to take the order as you can't close a menu to signal you're ready. Were told 5 times reminding us throughout the meal of how long we had left which was patronising. An hour and a half isn't long enough for a full meal with desserts and drinks. Venue is beautiful though and friendly staff.

    Felt very transactional. My daughter’s 21st which we highlighted and not mentioned. Prices very steep. You get the feeling it’s about trying to make the most amount of money in the shortest time possible.

    This is an intimate setting with amazing views over the city. It is especially amazing at night. The staff were very attentive, friendly and very helpful. The drinks were lovely and served in beautiful glasses. We hope to return soon.

    Thank you for booking a table for us yesterday at your place. Although it was the third time we were at the Gong restaurant. Other times were amazing but yesterday it was not really nice experience to all of us, despite was my son's birthday. I was told the tablet was available for us for 1.5 hour, starting from 16:15 until 17:45. However, at 17:00 the Spanish waitress came and told us we had half hour left as they need to prepare the tablet for the next customer. At exactly 17:30 two waitress approaches us and started picking up our drinks and food and moved to the sofa and explained again they need the table for a customer. They rushed us straight to the sofa. Exactly 40 minutes later there was no costumer has been at our previous table. We continued monitoring the table until hour later, there was not a single customer sitting at that table. We noticed the customer next to our table left also, and others as well, making the front tables completely empty. I asked for the bill as it seems they were closing the restaurant as only one table were with costumer. The waitress came and gave us the bill and I've asked her if they were closing the restaurant as there was hardly any people there. She said no they were not closing the restaurant, but they need the tables to be 40% be empty as they were "expecting" customers from the hotel to be in. We left after payment and the restaurant was totally empty. We really felt uncomfortable for this unreasonable attitude towards outside customers because we were not into the hotel, making us feel unappreciated and much less important because we came from outside. The excuses were really unnecessary and inconvenient to all of us as we did not expect such rush and treatment like that. We also never experienced anything likely. We really came to enjoy our experience and evening at your place once again with an intention to have many drinks as before we have done it. But instead, we felt really unappreciated.
