Good Earth Roseville
Good Earth was very understanding when I had to move my reservation twice while wrapping up an appointment! Great service and delicious food! Will definitely be going back.
Honestly disappointed with our experience there. I know that the Corona virus has created some tension in our community, but it doesn’t excuse our experience last night.
My family booked a birthday dinner for about 12 of us, which they weren’t ready for - we ended up having to move tables around without any help from the staff.
Throughout dinner, the server would come up and ask my fiancé questions about people on the other end of the table (he was the only white person at the table) and gave others, especially my sister a really hard time. She even told my sister her card was declined at the end (most likely to embarrass her in front of the group). My sister felt uncomfortable the entire evening and avoided eye contact with the server so as to not make the situation worse.
Overall, even though the food was ok, we were mistreated by the server and will never return.
This is a popular place with the lunch crowd, so I'm glad I'd gotten a reservation through OpenTable. The wild rice soup was delicious, as always. The service was attentive without being annoying and there was no pressure to leave.
This is our 5th or 6th visit. The food is always stellar and the service is excellent.
I am a big GEarth fan, have been for decades, but they missed the mark this time. DRY bread, DRY chicken salad. Both need a real fix. But this is normally a great place to enjoy tasty, healthy food.
Loved brunch at Good Earth! Avocado toast was lovely and filling.
Good friends, good food, good service, good ambience, good price.
Got right in on a busy Saturday with reservation. Great service. Birthday celebration that included wonderful carrot cake. Breakfast after noon also appreciated.
This is my "go to" place for breakfast--love everything on the menu. Plus the service is very good.
Ordered cup of soup (wild rice & mushroom) and 1/2 sandwich (turkey & provolone).
Soup was only lukewarm and needed salt (somewhat of a personal preference). And the bread on the sandwich was SO dry. Quite disappointed overall, especially since it was more than $12 for a second rate lunch. All staff were great!
Daddy daughter date
We were rather disappointed to find out that you no longer have free refills on the bread basket. We enjoy Good Earth and like to go on special occasions.
When we arrived the wait was a little longer than expected even with reservations, definitely acceptable considering it was Valentine’s Day, once we were sat at our table, which are very cozily set in close groupings unless you have a booth our waitress did address us promptly. The menu had a vast selection which made it difficult to decide on just one meal but once we did we had a pretty lengthy wait, almost an hour for food to come out as I believe they were understaffed in kitchen, we tried to order an appetizer half way through our wait but were told they were out of the selection and were offered what they could whip up and would not be charged for it. once we received our food it was delicious and we were very hungry, I have the good earth burger and it was quite good, portion was small though but non the less it was great, my wife enjoyed her wok sautéed vegetables as well, overall the food was amazing, would definitely return on a slower day.
Went for valentine’s day! super cute valentine day dinners, starters and soup was super good! good seasonal options
awesome food but over priced for the product served
Service was very slow. Took 15 minutes to get water. The rice in my burrito was crunchy. Waitress never came back to ask how our food was.
Our server was extremely slow. We were sat promptly at our reservation time, but didn't have our order taken for nearly an hour. We watched several tables in other sections get seated and then get their food before us. We got our food about 75 minutes after being seated.
Little disappointed that we didn't know prior to making reservations on open table about the Valentine's Day Menu. We arrived at 430 and were given the regular menus. Later when we ordered dessert the server brought us the Valentine's Day Menu. Would've appreciated knowing sooner.
My aunt and I both had the cashew chicken sandwich and both thought it was bland. my bread was good but her Sour dough was lacking. The so called german chocolate cake was an excellent chocolate cake but not german chocolate and the icing was similar to what the recipe for the frosting on German chocolate cake is.
Wonderful, fantastic selection for all type of eaters.
We were catching up and hogged the table. I usually don’t do this especially when it’s busy and I want the wait staff to turn over the table during their shift. Our waiter couldn’t have been nicer about it.
We always enjoy celebrating birthdays and anniversaries at Good Earth, where the conditions for eating healthy, safe foods in the company of intelligent, happy conversationalists is common. We also enjoy the complimentary carrot cake!
We Love Good Earth. We've been coming here for years to celebrate my wife's birthday with friends. It's has something for everyone regardless of your tastes or dietary needs. Always so good.
The food is consistently good. Server was very prompt and courteous.
We enjoyed our lunch, were not rushed and actually stayed for over 2 hours.
thanks for great hospitality!
Our lunch, as always, was excellent. But one side problem due to the popularity of this restaurant is that the parking lot is full at Noon. And alternatives are not clear. .
I go to Good Earth several times per month. You can make a Rez. The food is yummy and healthy. And the waiters are always friendly. The decor could use an upgrade. Don't know why the owners don't create these restaurants throughout the Twin Cities.
i has the cashew chicken wrap and it was great. Had a little spice kick which I loved. Service was good. Only thing I would say is the building looks dated and not real appealing from the outside. Someone who is not familiar with their food might bypass this place. I love their food!
The host and server were fantastic. The half sandwich was pretty dry and not very appealing. With a small cup of soup, I did not feel it was worth the $13 or $14 I paid.
This was a great place for a delicious, lovely luncheon with our friends. So glad we had reservations because Saturdays are busy! But our booth was ready and waiting promptly. Our server was exceptionally delightful and attentive in just the right ways (and without hovering). Four of us ordered a range of foods (various salads to burgers) and all of us were pleased. Food servings are beautiful, substantial, as well as delicious.
Good Earth always a good option with menu options for every palette. However this visit was OK, not great.
The food was good, but not exceptional Veggie burger a bit soggy, Quesadilla did not have any guacamole, Winter Bowl fairly tasty but not outstanding.
Always good food. Always busy. Glad I made reservations.
The fees are getting so high it is difficult to continue going here for lunch.
Service is always very slow.
Wild rice soup was just ok, service was great and Nachos really good
We love Good Earth, and go there quite often. However, when I made the reservation I added a note that it was my step son's Birthday and I wanted to surprise him with a desert. I have to admit that I forgot it until we left, but I was disapointed that they didnt read the note and make his Birthday just a little more special......
Very good! We had salads and fish tacos. It was a busy Saturday so noise was a little loud but definitely acceptable. I’ve been back since.
The parking lot in front was VERY ice covered and thus VERY dangerous.
I was very disappointed, as were my dining partners. The portions are significantly smaller and the prices are too high. It cost me almost $30 to eat lunch. EVERYTHING is an up-charge - like cheese on a planet burger, which should be included just to hold the darn thing together.
The service was TERRIBLE!
Good Earth used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I am very saddened.
We have been going to Good Earth for many years. I always feel I have had a healthy meal when dining there.
Last night it was definitely off. Not sure if waitress was new but
Was slow. Once we ordered appetizer- shrimp and crab cake,
Bowl of wild rice and mushroom soup and the Good Earth burger.
We waited awhile and then everything came at one time delivered
By someone else.
The burger was flavorful and cooked just right, appetizer and soup were okay. Before we had finished she asked if we were going to have dessert. When we said probably, it took about 15 minutes to get that menu.
We ordered the carrot cake -what a mistake it was cold, dry and not not very flavorful. Tasted like it was stale!!
Some things were minor but all in all I’m glad it wasn’t our first time there or I don’t think we would return.
They were not real busy so part of the reason for this review.
