Gordon Ramsay Steak - Harrah's Kansas City

This was our second time visiting this restaurant and we have enjoyed it both times. Some of the best food I have ever ate! We will be back!

Dined there for the first and last time, wasn't what I expected at all.

I eat here all the time and it's always an excellent experience.

We had a wonderful experience! Everything was perfect.

It was good, but for the price, it should be something more.

The food tasted great though not only complaint would be the portion sizes of the appetizers were smaller than when I originally visited the restaurant in 2019.

Everything was delicious, looked beautiful and the service was great. It was worth every penny! We will be back.

It was good but a bit overpriced for what it was. I wasn't that impressed.

The waitress that helped us was awesome. Hostess was awesome. Food was hit or miss. $325 tab for 2 people included mixed drinks. Lobster risotto was great. Crab cakes were sub par and tasted frozen. Steak was excellent. Beef Wellington was good but not what expected as a signature dish. For the cost and name on the door was let down on quality. Expected best meal ever but received middle of road steakhouse food. Service was top notch.

Overall great experience, but it could have been better. The Beef Wellington could have been warmer, but it did taste pretty good. Appetizers were a mixed bag - the salads were great, but the crab cake only came out with 1x and not any better than less expensive ones I have had. Dessert was phenomenal. Overall nice atmosphere for a date night.

The beef Wellington & lobster risotto was excellent. The cheesecake desert was delicious. My cocktail was delish. My cap steak was suppose to be medium well but came well done. The loaded baked potato side was not salted. The manager did give me a lobster Risotto to replace the loaded baked potato and I appreciate that.. I think the price point of $79 for my steak was too high as it wasn’t spectacular. Overall was high for the overall experience. I would go back for beef Wellington.

This was our first visit and we were very pleased!

Everything was perfect (cocktails, apps, ambiance) until my main course was brought to me. My steak was NOT prepared at the right temperature on 1..2..3 separate tries!! The manager could tell I was so flustered. My reservation was at 7pm and I ended up walking out of there 3.5 hrs later (mostly of waiting for my meal to be prepared the way I asked). This was my 1st time, and was so DISGUSTED and disappointed!! This was so far from my perfect expectations carrying Gordon Ramsey's name. I bet if he was back in the kitchen cursing at the chefs, they would have gotten it right.

Took my wife there for her birthday dinner and every single thing on the menu was worth it. I do not really care for cheesecake but I would eat the cheesecake here every single day. I recommend everyone try it at least once.

Celebrated my daughter’s birthday. It was our first time there. It was a great experience. The service was world class.

Service was kind and pleasant. Food was exactly as you’d expect it to be.

We ordered lobster risotto as an appetizer and it was great. Our bread came out after we had finished the risotto. I ordered the American Waygu ribcap cooked medium rare and it was excellent. My date had the KC Strip with bone marrow and it was also very good. We shared the Mac and cheese and we both thought it needed just a touch of salt or garlic as it tasted one dimensional. Dessert was chocolate pot de creme and it was a nice finish to the meal. Rich, but not too sweet. We were seated next to a private room, so it was a bit loud as waiters and patrons were in and out a bunch. Overall it was a good experience and why we consider GR Steak as one of our KC favorites.

Hubby and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and birthday here this past weekend and were pleased with our experience. Food was fantastic, service impeccable. Definitely a special occasion dining experience as everything is $$$. Casual attire which I was disappointed in, I like to see folks get dressed up for such a special experience. Definitely a once in a lifetime since I’m a huge fan.

Second time there now, absolutely with it. The Lobster Risotto was amazing. Splurge on the Japanese A5 it’s with every penny.

The service was outstanding and the food was the best I have ever had.

Good enforcement of social distancing. Service by and large attentive and not intrusive. Missing bread plate. Brunch items a bit overpriced: $50. I would price at $40.
Dessert too sweet for my taste.

Our experience at Gordon Ramsey Steak was absolutely incredible! The service was excellent, the environment was classy and quiet and amazing, and the food was the best meal I have ever had. We spent well over $300 for 2 of us but it was worth every single penny. If the price is holding you back, just treat yourselves every once in awhile because you won't be disappointed! Can't recommend it enough!

Restaurant was very clean. Staff was friendly, professional and pleasant. The food was AMAZING.
