The first Gourmet Food Parlour outside of Dublin, sitting just west of Galway city in the bustling townland of Salthill overlooking Galway Bay. Serving up a range of delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, as well as a range of wines and cocktails to top off your visit!

*A discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to the bill for parties of 8 or more.

Breakfast was cold. Sausages not included on one plate, and when added to order were not cooked thoroughly. A very bad experience that cost €80!

We came to have some brunch and drinks before our booking which these happily accommodated us. The restaurant was quiet, the service wasn’t great in fact I would go as far to say it was quite poor. Staff were more interested ij chatting with each other about love island antics and the shifts they prefer working. They didn’t check in with us during our meal. We had to ask for extra drinks and the for the bill. They got some of my husbands order wrong. I was disappointed, I had been here before and the food and service were good but this time we were unlucky. I have eaten in other GFP restaurants and the service is better.

Food was lovely, the two girls that served us very great . The two men working in the kitchen started to get very loud and when the girl that was serving tables told them to keep it down they answered her back and not in a nice way , they made her cry . they were very intimidating towards her .. I felt really sorry for her. Management needs to address this .. Thanks again to the lovely girls that worked there.

The food at the Gourmet Food Parlour is always enjoyable. The place is bright and inviting. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall we highly recommend dining there when in Salthill.

We were a group of 7 ladies. The service was excellent, the staff extremely helpful, nothing was too much. My only criticism was that there was no veg offered with the main course. I had the lamb shank which was excellent but would have liked a little bit of veg.

First impressions weren’t great. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed were the chairs and the dirt on them. It was really disgusting, and I’m not talking about one or two, but all of them. The lamps were literally covered in dust too. Staff were friendly but without a smile, more like just getting through the shift and going home. I think that’s exactly what makes or breaks the atmosphere. Food was okay, not great, not bad, just average, like in most places. Nothing memorable. Won’t be coming back.

Food was good, but throughout most of the meal we had to listen to staff openly complaining to the chefs about incorrect orders and discussing mistakes to avoid the next day. With only around 10 people in the restaurant, it came across as unprofessional and affected the atmosphere.
