   Our server Yaidel was attentive and fun. We had lobster roll and lobster Benedict which both were great. The German pancake could use a side of fruit. Overall, enjoy our Sunday brunch.

   The majority of the staff was great. I've been to Gracie's before. However, my group and I felt as though we were being treated "lesser than". We were group of 3, and I had put in the notes that it was a special occasion because one of our members is moving away. However, this was never acknowledged. We wanted to use the extra seat at our table to place our hand bags since we weren't sitting in a booth. Some one came and said "we're going to take this seat." They didn't ask, which is usually customary. When pouring the coffee, there were grounds in it. We had to ask for our cream twice. When our mimosa juices were brought out, we got them in smaller carafes than every other table surrounding us, including tables with only couples. When we asked our waiter about the discrepancy we were told they pour the same amount in each regardless of the size. Having worked in events, I knew that wasn't possible. I know portion sizes really well. Afterwards, another waiter offered to help us take pictures, but one of the managers had already assisted with that. We appreciated the assistance. As I said, I've been before. Ordinarily, it's great. Not sure if it was just the waiter we had and the other guy out there managing the floor, but it wasn't as "welcoming" as it normally is.

   Gracie’s has always been a good experience with fine food. Lunch there was a huge disappointment. The food was not hot, the salad was very disappointing, as was the dressing, the fruit was something you might get from a hospital. The bill was $50 for two people with light lunches. A glass of iced tea was five dollars and it was not refilled. Our waiter was excellent, but clearly the kitchen is going through some challenges, because food quality was far below what it has been.

   Gracie’s was recommended by friends, so we went for Mother’s Day breakfast. It’s small, comfortable and inside the Hotel Deluxe downtown. Food was delicious, prices were what you’d expect for a hotel restaurant, but the service was a bit slow. There was a mistake in my spouse’s order and it took awhile to correct. Nobody came around to refill our coffee until we asked. It was a busy holiday, so maybe that was the reason. We’ll go back and give it another try.

    The food was amazing. Our waiter was good but one of our tables food got there over 30 minutes after the rest of ours. That was definitely not what I would expect from this type of restaurant. In the end after a request, they took care of her meal. Hopefully this was a fluke thing. I'd definitely come back and give them another try.

    Took my 93 yr old Mom here for brunch to celebrate Mother's Day when we were staying at the hotel. We both had the Lobster Benedict, mine w/ GF toast instead of the English muffin. It was a lot of food! Very tasty and well-presented. Hannah was excellent.

    Always fabulous! Our server was attentive. Water and coffee service was impeccable. Three of us had Benedicts. 2 crab and 1 ham. Eggs were perfectly prepared. And the 4th dish was the lobster roll. Our guest said the flavor was spot on. I wish the piano could be played during Sunday brunch. That is the only Thing that would make it a little more special.

    The ambiance of the restaurant in the old hotel was charming. Food was tasty. Service was slow, but we were there for Easter brunch and it was very busy. Looked like they could have added another wait person fo that shift to carry the heavy load. Will go back again.

    What a beautiful venue. Our server was attentive and did an outstanding job, sometimes you forget, living here in Portland, what top-notch service actually looks like. The food was wonderful, my kiddos had the bacon and egg fried rice which I finished off last night. I had the German Pancake, which was expertly made, nice and eggy but light. And my fiance had one of the best burgers I've had...ever! Highly recommend and prices are not outrageous.

    Always a pleasure to dine at this Portland iconic place. Everything about the hotel and restaurant is reason to return -- time after time -- and, in my case, for over 50 years. The best Eggs Benedict in town -- consistently for all those years!

    Beautifully decorated with a nod to the glamor of Hollywood's golden age. We took my mom for birthday brunch. My sister and I had the chorizo and vegetable hash. Very tasty. My mom had a Reuben and was very pleased with it. There is a complimentary parking lot for the restaurant. Waiter was pleasant and efficient. We will be returning for brunch and dinner.

    Hostess and server were super friendly and attentive. Food was amazing. Really nice setting. Could be romantic for a couple but I was doing mother daughter time.     Late brunch prior to a soccer match. It’s a nice room, sort of old-fashioned, very attractive. The food was good and the coffee and tea very good. Despite being busy, the service was good and friendly. Like many restaurants now, it was expensive. We will return.
