   Came for the Grand Street Bar for dessert and told it was discontinued. My daughter's steak had a hair in it. Service was very slow- drinks, appetizer, dinner- it all took twice as long as it should have. Ordered before several tables around us but they got food first. Used to really look forward to this place.

    We had a Five Star dinner, dessert and drinks at Grand Street Cafe in Lenexa Kansas. Our server, Song, went above and beyond. She was fun and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. She made sure we were having a good experience for my husband's Birthday and we loved her energy! The food was amazing and we also enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar downstairs. The bartender was also awesome! We had a great time. Thank you so much!

    It has been a long while since I ate at Grand Street. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and kind although slow. We ordered wine at first greeting with server. We did not have wine brought to table for a good 15-20 min. We went for the start of KC restaurant week, RW. A person in our party ordered off the RW menu. Her salad came at the same time as her entree. Food was delicious. Our table had fried brussels, Chkn Picatta, shrimp Capenelli (sp) off the RW menu, a Salmon salad, and Creme brulee & choc brownie in puff pastry for dessert. All was delicious!! A thing that bothered me about this restaurant & the plaza location is the tables and chairs are SO CRAMMED in there. To get up and go to the restroom you have to try to scoot between other tables and chairs. Not fun for anyone. Ambiance otherwise is nice. Lighting is a tad too dark but the restaurant is beautiful for being in the 1st floor of an office building. All in all the evening was enjoyable. I will go again.

    Easy parking, beautifully appointed interior. We enjoyed the bread service as an appetizer - wow, just wow! Our dinners were tasty (halibut and a pasta dish both on the evening’s specials), and the chocolate mousse layered cake was just what we needed.

    Lobster Bisque was way too salty. Halibut had zero flavor but cooked perfectly. Husband had ribeye and was very well seasoned. Desserts were both fine. As we were leaving we saw several tables with bread service and we had not received any. Disappointed in food when only offering 3 choices, they should have been done much better.

It appears the lobster bisque being too salty might be your personal preference as we had no other comments but appreciate your input. Bread service is available fyi as an additional charge as a starter. On New Year's Eve and other holidays, serving the amount of guests we do, it is impossible to offer the entire menu and this is why we do an abbreviated set menu. We are sorry you did not enjoy your dining experience with us and hope you will try us again.

    First, finding the front door was a challenge. As a handicapped person just getting into the place was very inconvenient. The young man who was our server did an excellent job and was very pleasant. I ordered the pappardelle and there were only 2 shrimp in it. Seriously? Also, the food was warm, not hot, which is not good. We will not return.

    Our experience at Grand Street was great! If there were a complaint, it would be that more decor for the holiday needed to be around all of the restaurant. That would really jazz it up a lot! Otherwise, we had a wonderful time.

    Rene was amazing! Very attentive, knowledgeable and great energy. 2nd time at this location and food and drinks were great! One of our favorite date spots :) we had the deviled eggs and salmon artichoke dip for apps and the Garganelli pasta and grill salmon for our dinner and finish with the crème brûlée. Did not disappoint! Drinks…ooh lol don’t judge us… we had Cosmopolitan, botanical Bellini, French Martini, and Parisian bloom. All so good!! Thanks again!

    Terrific. The steak was amazing, the cocktails were great. Service was spot on and management was in tuned. They were really busy as it was Wine Wednesday and handled it all fabulously.

    Great food but better service! Landen, our waiter had only been there 3 days and we thought he had been there years because he was so attentive, asked all the right questions and offered extras for those shareable plates that only had 3 portion since there was 4 of us. The happy hour is fantastic! Great night.

    We came for my husbands birthday with his parents! We had our 2.5 year old with us, and I was a little nervous to bring a toddler as it is a nicer atmosphere. However, they accommodated us by giving us a table with ample room to spread out which gave us space to lay out a coloring book and such for her. The food was so, so good and so reasonably priced. And you get a free dessert on your birthday! Very good experience, and we will be back!

    This is a lovely environment to go to enjoy a meal. The service especially by waiter Timothy is excellent. He attended to every need, kept water glasses full , was pleasant and hospitable and kind and helped with food choices (especially that phyllo brownie, which we would come back just to get it, so we appreciate his suggestion.) The food is inventive and delicious.

    Ordered a Wedge Salad, what I received was most likely a caser side salad. When I questioned the server, I was told "we do a wedge different here" Could be, especially if they mean by different to be a few leaf's of romaine lettuce, caser salad dressing, bacon and Med-rare steak then they nailed it! I remain skeptical.

Our menu describes our Wedge as "Romaine, Grilled Sirloin, Bacon, Egg, Red Onion, Croutons, & Gorgonzola Buttermilk".     Made reservations for 630. Weren’t seated until after 7 and then our waiter was slow. Food was great but experience was frustrating.

    We were very disappointed that it took 35 minutes to seat our party of three. This was the first restaurant in three years using OpenTable that took more than five minutes to seat us. Philip was an amazing server, I feel like management put their best foot forward with him trying to makeup for the extremely long wait. Food was excellent except for my short ribs which were cold and sightly tough, I think mainly because they were cold. This was our first trip to Grand Street in Lenexa and after this experience we'll not be back. Grand Street on the Plaza always exceeds our expectations and while it's further away, our experience in Lenexa proves it's worth an extra 10 minutes in the car.

    It took a while for our server or anyone to acknowledge us, believe it’s the same staffing issue everyone has. However once Emery introduced herself she did an exceptional job and made it a much more recoverable and enjoyable evening.
