We had a reservation and instead of honoring our reservation time they let walk ins sit down and eat. We didn’t get seated until 45 minutes past our time of reservation. Hostess was no accommodating. Didn’t have enough staff.

I suspect they’re poorly staffed. Service is slow. Food is decent. Drinks are weak and certainly not high quality.

Good food after a long day. Evan is a great waiter and had good suggestions.

Food was delicious w/a beautiful presentation. We sat by the window & looked our over Lake Superior while we ate.

The Grill was clean and the wait staff very friendly and helpful. We split potstickers and a rice bowl and both were delicious and the flavor combination outstanding. I would highly recommend this dining room!

Parmesan crusted walleye with fried wild rice was amazing. Pasta arrabiatta was very good except the optional meatballs. They were nothing special. I would order it again but choose the shrimp or chicken as optional protein add-on. Service and drinks both excellent.

Because of COVID 19 we ate in our room. All of the food we ate both nights was excellent. The chicken wings and wild rice side were amazing and the walleye sandwhich was great also. Great food!!!

Got in right away. Nice lodge venue with a great view. Food is good, margaritas must have been missing some mix-quite strong (although some may like that), dress warm as the air conditioning was blowing. Great deck dining and well spaced!

I was asked if I wanted my burger “pink or no pink”. My burger was so overdone it was crunchy all around. The walleye sandwich was also way overdone on burned toast.

My husband and I sat outside overlooking Lake Superior, which was absolutely beautiful. We ordered the parmesan crusted walleye and chicken milanese and they were both delicious. We would highly recommend the walleye!

We ate on the deck overlooking Lake Superior- beautiful and serene. Our waitress went out of her way to make our dinner memorable, as we had mentioned to her that it was an anniversary dinner. The food was ok, not superb. Nice venue and I would return.

Great food & service. The cheesecake we had for dessert was the final touch to a great dinner.

Absolutely perfect! We come stay at Grand Superior Lodge every year and they never disappoint! Love everything about it here.

Good service and food. They were not prepared for our 2 year old, as there was a coloring page but no crayons. Other than that, no complaints.

Fantastic Food and Service !

The setting is beautiful but the service was very slow and poor.

Extremely understaffed. Hostess or manager was acting as hostess, server and bartender. Others there had been waiting over 2 hours for their food. Staff seemed irritated and it showed, in demeanor and tone. We were there for a nice lunch for our anniversary, and it was anything but. This was our first time there and it will also be our last. I would not recommend.

Kelli was a kind young lady and took care of us. The food was good but the servings were a bit small. The asparagus was very lacking in size/value. The view was tremendously beautiful, the restaurant clean and the experience nice. Can't beat the fries and burgers were delicious. Nice, quaint family experience.

I found the portions to be very small especially when it came to things like potatoes and a vegetable that are not that costly . I ate there at 5 o’clock and I actually went down the road at 8 o’clock to get a couple cheeseburger from culvers in two harbors

Grand Superior Grill has a great view of Lake Superior. The menu has a nice variety and the food is good. We had the walleye meal and it was very good. The walleye sandwich is also a good choice.

We have also enjoyed just having a glass of wine in the bar area.

We both had the Northwoods skillet and they accommodated our individual tastes without hassle. The waitress was very attentive. Our only complaint was the air conditioning was too cold! Especially for so early in the morning.

My girlfriends and I took a trip up the northshore on a beautiful Saturday morning. We made a reservation at GSG for bloody mary's at 10am (which yes they were amazingg). We sat out the back deck of the restaurant which overlooked Superior. It was so sunny and peaceful. Our server- Winter was so wonderful and friendly! We even stopped back for lunch before we headed back to Duluth. We all got burgers of some sort along with summer drinks and those were great too. We loved it SO much we stopped twice in one day. This is my 3rd attempt to write this. I get so far and get kicked off. This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Walleye was superb!

The walleye was fantastic! So was the walleye sandwich.

View from deck and dining room is great. Food was just average and price was higher than quality. Burgers came out incorrect both times. Rice bowl was not very good.
The lemon chicken Milanese would be much better if it was grilled rather than the breaded cutlet it was as it tasted like it was a frozen meat.

Make a reservation before you go...limited seating due to COVID.

The view of Lake Superior is lovely, inside or on the deck. Drinks--blackberry basil mojito, Tettegouche Hooch--were tasty. Potstickers & cheese curds were our favorite appetizers. Jaryd, our server, MADE our dining experience memorable. He made the drinks, and they were great. He made thoughtful suggestions from the updated menu. Even with a party of 18 in the same section, our food & beverages came out hot & well-timed. Jaryd was friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel right at home...the definition of Hospitality!

Breakfast the next day was 5 stars for everything July 1st 😊

We got the best table inside the restaurant and just relaxed and had a delish breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was amazing!

Loved coming back into dining with great views of the North Shore. Great food- wonderful Swedish Meatballs and truffle fries. Excellent ambiance.

It was nice to eat out again. Looking forward to an expanded menu especially deserts

We have eaten here a few times while staying at the lodge. The staff is great. The food is average. The views are wonderful. I believe they are under new management and they will be undergoing renovations soon.
