Great value for a superb meal. The food was delicious - fresh ingredients put together with great skill. We were a party of four people and each one of us were delighted with our choice of pasta. Would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates great food.
Fabulous food, bolognese one of the best, excellent friendly service, early bird great value, will definitely be back
Handmade pasta, traditional Pugliese / Calabrian recipes. Good value.
It was great!
Perfect evening, except for a slight mixup on our order. We were told that the dish would be excluded from the receipt. It was not excluded. All in all I would definitely go back and recommend go a friend
Amazing food and great service. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful food and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!
Excellent food and wine, friendly staff, reasonably priced, and chill vibe. Highly recommend!
Italian restaurants generally tend to be "more of the same" in Ireland anyway. Until Grano arrived on the scene. Typical Italian regarding atmosphere- noisy, bustling and packed with families. Staff really friendly as well as being efficient.
Started with Sardella di Crucolli, a spicy fish paste known as "caviar of the poor". Bursting with flavour with the spice just right. Next was Capocollo di Maiale Nero e burrata- essentially a luscious combination of black pig and burrata cheese.
For main, Spaghettoni - home made of course - with sausage, black truffle and Parmesan cheese. This was one of those memorable dishes that lingers on the palate for a long time. Perfectly sensible wine selection of three whites and three reds by the glass. However, the range by the bottle is high quality in range and region. Second visit to Grano and most definitely not the last.
Authentic Calabrese cuisine made with the best of ingredients!! My favourite restaurant in Dublin by far!!
Great authentic Italian food and wine, friendly and
competent staff, wonderfull experience
Just go and have the experience! Enjoy the amazing food
Great authentic food. Reasonable price. Friendly staff
Really amazing food. Lovely service. Already making reservations for next visit. Highly recommend
This is the perfect Italian restaurant. Food is fantastic, staff are brilliant and the ambience is lovely. 5 stars
Food was fab& really great value. The service was very friendly. Only (small) quibble was the price of wine.
This cozy restaurant is a pasta lover's dream! I live nearby (fortunate and dangerous at the same time) but it's worth traveling down to it! Fresh pasta, quality ingredients, attentive staff and a great selection of wine. Gastronomy enthusiasts will understand Grano is about a near-authentic experience in Italian southern cuisine, where the dishes speak for themselves.
Very friendly staff . Food from specific region of southern Italy , to the extent that they didn’t have Balsamico for the bread/ salad as it’s from the North 😂. We really enjoyed our food and wine there after a movie in the Lighthouse Cinema . I would have liked a small Moretti beer on arrival but there is no beer available ,only wine .Very reasonably priced considering it has a Michelin award . Will be going back for sure .
Our booking was for 7pm. We felt a bit rushed from the moment we sat down. Nibbles, starter and mains were served in quick succession. No break, but we took our time as we like to eat & chat with no pressure on a night out. Food was lovely - though portions were small. Two of our party had the vegan options, which are limited, but adequate. Sadly there is no vegan desert. Wine was nice, though the Prosecco to start was served in a regular wine glass. We had a lovely evening, but feeling rushed for the first hour did take away from the enjoyment.
Delicious food, welcoming staff
Fab food, real Italian service. Will definitely return!
It was such a fantastic meal. The food was exceptionally good. Very simple and delicious. The waiters were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was a problem. If I had to find one thing, I’d say the wine is overpriced for the quality.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely authentic Italian meal.
Second time in Grano, thoroughly enjoyed the starters and desserts but the main courses aren't amazing. I wish there was a mushroom risotto or another less meaty/fishy main course!
It's such a lovely restuarant but I find the choice in Etto much better.
Amazing food, beautifully prepared and served with a smile. Just fab.p
The service was wonderful, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was authentic Italian homemade food, everything we ate was delicious. Can't wait to go back. The atmosphere was very cosy and friendly
The food was fantastic, and the servers were friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved our meals, especially the seafood linguine and the tiramisu! Will definitely be back to Grano
Autentic italian food and outstanding service. Great and very affordable a
Early bird option. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Buonissimo!
Fantastic authentic Italian experience. Food awesome, space is so lovely, service premium - warm and delicious. 👌🏼
Food was fantastic and staff where very friendly. Very reasonably priced and plenty on the menu for everyone’s taste. Definitely will be back. Also the house white wine is a must have.
My partner and I had an amazing evening at Grano. Both service and food were perfect. I couldn’t recommend it more! Bravi!!! :)
Cute little place, fab food, great buzz and great service!
This is the best early bird in Dublin. Great food, great wine and a great soundtrack.
Authentic Italian food, good wine choices , attentive staff . Needs a coat stand but don’t let that stop you going ! Very popular restaurant, so book, to avoid disappointment .
great staff , great food , yummy wine
Had a lovely meal
Great food as always. Our waitress was fantastic also, really adds to the experience when the service is so good.
The food here is 5/5. Outstanding. However, the premises is too small and cramped. I will come back but I would hesitate to recommend it based on the size of the restaurant. You feel like you can’t have privacy and that you are hearing other people’s conversations. I know this is a common problem with small restaurants in Dublin in general, but it would influence my decision to go back there or not. Again, this is my only fault with the restaurant. The parmigiana was beautiful.
Love this restaurant - extremely cosy (feels like you could be in your own home!), great friendly staff and the food is so good!!
The pasta is really high quality and made freshly in house. I would highly recommend the nduja meatballs.
We had a great evening in Grano. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table straight away. The restaurant was really nicely decorated for Christmas.
We were quite hungry and so were delighted when our orders for nibbles were taken and brought to the table quickly. Everything from nibbles through starters, mains and desserts was delicious.
We really enjoyed the evening and will certainly be back.
