Green Pig Bistro (GPB) serves up classic, rustic French cooking with a decidedly American push.

GPB embraces a seasonal menu of hearty entrées, sourcing most ingredients locally to satisfy the palate & support the local community. It has a casual setting with a lively and energetic vibe and delicious farm-to-table food prepared in an open kitchen alongside unique craft cocktails & beer and an extensive, thoughtfully curated wine list.

GPB is open for Happy Hour every day from 4pm-6pm, Dinner every day from 5pm-close, and Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2:30pm. Reservations highly encouraged. Reservations not accepted for Happy Hour - just stop in.

    Haven’t been here in over a year - was one of our two favorites when we lived a few blocks away until we moved out of state. Disappointed it isn’t as good as it used to be - or at least wasn’t last night. Salad was overdressed. The service was slow. Food just wasn’t top notch as it had been.

    The food was exceptional. I took a chance and ordered the pork chop even though I've never really been a big fan of pork chops and I'm so glad I did! That dish totally changed my opinion about pork chops. The flavor was outstanding, you could taste the fresh herbs without any one overpowering the dish. The cut of meat was tender, lean and cooked to perfection. The cornbread with maple butter was to die for and the summer sangria was lovely. Service was efficient even if not overly friendly. Atmosphere was fun, although the ladies room needed some attention. Plenty of street parking on a Sunday evening. Only complaint is their two-top tables are very close to each other. If you're out on date night don't expect to be able to have even a semi-private conversation.

    Service was great. We arrived a few minutes before opening and the staff let us in out of the heat and served us ice water; nice touch. Crab cake eggs Benedict was outstanding Huevos Rancheros was too heavy on the meat (pork) and basically too much food Biscuits the server provided on the house were outstanding.

    Very thoughtful menu; many items appealed to me. We got off to a slow start as drink order took a long time to arrive. Additionally, one in our party ordered a whiskey sour and what arrived looked like it had orange juice in it. That was sent back. Overall exceptional food.

    I took two colleagues to lunch at Green Pig Bistro without having gone there before. I just found about it online. It is very attractive and has an eclectic menu. It was really quiet on a Tuesday at lunch time so we really loved that. The service was very good. The food was quite good. It would be interesting to see what it's like there during the evening.

    This is a favorite brunch location. Their food so so great, and the service is always amazing. It’s quiet on a Sunday morning, but I can see if the evening it could get quite noisy inside. Overall a fantastic spot for brunch (I’m sure the rest of the food is also amazing but I’ve only ever been there for brunch. Generous portions, never had anything that wasn’t amazing here!

    Made reservations last minute. Seated 7 at 8 pm. One person waited a bit longer for her food. Otherwise perfect. Fun Phillies banter with the host. Waiter was attentive.

    Great service and food. Noise level was what you'd expect sitting outside along a sidewalk between dogs and cars-no problems just mentioning in case someone wanted a quiet outside experience. And the very loud and border-line obnoxious party sitting next to us-some things you should talk about at home not in public, JS.

    Booked dinner for my daughter and I as a farewell ( for now) celebration. Just moves her to the area for graduate school. Greeted and promptly seated above arrival. Love the vibe of the place—- comfortable yet upscale. J.P. Was our server and I cannot say enough about him. He was fabulous!!!! Best server I’ve had in a very long time. Friendly, helpful, attentive and the best personality! I asked for recommendations to narrow down our dinner choices as it was our first time dining there. He didn’t miss a beat, providing meaningful feedback. He truly made our experience a positive one in every way. The food was amazing—- took home leftovers, including dessert. Crab Mac -n- cheese, shrimp ravioli and chilled pie of the day (white chocolate tart). All of it…. Scrumptious! My daughter said she’ll be back for sure and I will also next time I’m in town.

    “Best swordfish I’ve ever had” according to my dad. Excellent pork chops. Roasted Brussel sprouts never disappoint. Extremely pricey - especially drinks and entrees. Small portion on scallops and ravioli. Love the open kitchen. Service was great.

    The waitress didn’t show up at our table until over 20 minutes after we were seated. A hostess or someone took our drink orders and forgot to bring mine. I told them I ordered black coffee and they didn’t bring it until after I re told the waitress (who as I said didn’t show up until over 20 minutes after we were seated). When I finally got my coffee, the cinnamon buns were cold. Bad service. Didn’t seem like anyone cared about the experience of the customer.

    Wonderful meal here - party of 4 that got the rib eye and ny strip meals for 2...it was really delicious! The steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. The sides that came with were all yummy as well! Recommend the house salad and sauteed mushrooms. Had a wonderful glass of Tempranillo too. Our service was a bit lacking which made the experience less inviting. Otherwise, it was a nice family dinner and we'd try it again. Not sure what was up with our server since we were there at 5pm so it wasn't crowded at all, but the food was so good, we'd go back and try it again and hope it was just an anomaly.

    It was not the first time i went to the Green Pig Bistro. This time unlike before the service was very disappointing. It took a very long time to get the server’s attention and even longer until we had the drinks served. The food is pricey and the portions are insufficient - for $37 you get 3 scallops on some rice and lentils. I hope the Green Pig Bistro improves.

    All of our food was delicious! So many fresh vegetables with each entree: artichoke raviolini with perfectly cooked shrimp, mushrooms and lima beans; and the pepita encrusted salmon with corn, potatoes and more shrimp. We enjoyed every bite!

    A bit of a hit and miss but would still go again. Cheesy grits were good and the Angry Bird (boneless chicken thigh on waffle with onion jam, gravy, and syrup) was VERY good. Croque Madam was okay; hash browns were a bit of a disappointment. Cinnamon Roll was not good - dry, not hot/warm, needed something... I could barely swallow my bite and then left it alone.

    Our waitress could improve communication skills bordering on disinterested. Our brunch was overall disappointing. As our first time at Green Pig, we had high expectations. My chicken and waffles were good. The others in the party were less enthusiastic. No real pizazz, reminded us of restaurant hotel food. Not bad, just not connecting. Constructive criticism, the Bloody Mary had near whole peppercorns in it, making it necessary to really chew each sip. Grind them a bit more. On a positive note, other than being very expensive, the other cocktails were very good.

    Our group of 6 had a wonderful meal at the Green Pig in Arlington. The ambience, the food and the waiter were all top-notch! It was a bit noisy, but we're that kind of people, too! Without question; this was our favorite restaurant in the week we spend in Arlington!

    One of the most terrible dining experiences ever. The waiter was miserable, the food mediocre and the prices were exuberant. If I'm paying Bourbon Steak prices, I'd like to have first class service and food. Not going back anytime soon.

    Someone needs to teach the chef how to make a proper cassoulet. It was one of the poorest examples of such a great dish. Best leave it off the menu until it can be made properly. The gougeres were also very disappointing. For something you only serve 2 days out of the week, one would think that they'd be made to order and not just heated through. It's a cheese puff, not a cheese hockey puck. The pork shoulder ravioli was just barely lukewarm and had the consistency of canned tuna. The service was good, though. Our server was on it.

    This WAS one of our favorite restaurants but after night’s experience, we were extremely disappointed. The server has to many tables to manage this evening . We had the wrong food brought to our table twice. There were just too many mishap for a dinner.

    I went for brunch with a friend. The food was cold & overall not great. The cheese on my burger was thick and filmy like it had been sitting before our server brought it out. My friend ordered the huevos rancheros & it was also room temp. Also the ac seemed to be broken in the ladies room. Almost steamy in there. I was so excited to try the restaurant because I regularly pass by it. But I will likely not be going back.
