Everything about my experience at Guavas Cuban Cafe was amazing and VERY memorable.

I had the Paella Valenciana and it reminded me of the time I lived in a around Spain and it was that tasty and flavourful and eye catching that I was hooked from the first bite.

100% I will be a regular customer no matter how far I have to travel I will be back many times to come!!

We were the only ones there on a Thursday about 10:30am. Kind service and delicious food
If I knew for sure that everything was made here I’d rate it excellent but I read a few reviews that said otherwise.
Overall though we loved it so I’m excited to go back. Very nice place and love the food.

What a special place, we had such a great meal and experience.

We had to sit outside due to Covid, it was the windiest day of the year and we brought our 3 month old baby. Everything about this visit was going against it, and the food still made it all worth it. Can't wait to go back when there aren't 50 mph wind gusts and we can sit inside!

Guavas Wednesday Paella night is a great deal. Fast, friendly service and excellent paella!

The food is unbeatable. You order at a counter. No one checks to see if you need anything else when you are at the table. If you sit outside, remember you are under the flight path and less than a mile from the runway.

Great spot for outdoor patio breakfast or brunch. The food is so fresh and tasty. Great patio tables with food spacing, feels safe and clean during COVID-19 times.

My cousin and I went to Guavas to celebrate our birthdays. As always it was amazing! Somehow they manage to make the food taste homemade. I used to date a Cuban man and his grandmother used to make Ropa Vieja for us. Guavas is the best Ropa Vieja I’ve had since hers, consistently. The prices are very reasonable especially considering the portions. Guavas is my favorite neighborhood restaurant!

It was our first time there, and no one greeted us.It was very dark. We had to order our food at the counter, seat ourselves, and the self-serve water was not cold. The menus for dinner weren't out. The rice was raw. The rest of the food was ok. As a Cuban individual, who knows her Cuban food, the food was subpar at best. The person who came to ask us how our food was, spoke so quietly we could barely understand them. Overall, I would not return.

Great place for date night! Wednesday - Two Paellas, one small plate and wine for $40. The Paella is amazing! Also had the steak and frites which was fantastic! They have a great patio as well. Love this neighborhood place.

Giving this place a try for an early happy hour with a great friend after quarantine. The cocktails are 2 for 1 and you had to remind the server about your second drink. Drinks were not strong. The shrimp bowls were not spicy and the creole sauce was more like tomato sauce with pico added. Not much flavor. I couldn't finish my entree. The fried plantains were over fried as it was hard and the dipping sauce was good and flavorful.

First time here and we ate outside with healthy distance between the tables. You go inside, place and order and they’ll bring the food to your table. Everything was delicious and the food came out blazing fast. We had the croquetas, side of yucca, side of maduros, sandwich cubano, and shrimp creole. The shrimp was good but just ok, but everything else was fantastic.
Oh and the grapefruit mojito was tasty and refreshing.
We will definitely go back
