I had an incredible dining experience at Gyu-Kaku! The service was absolutely top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to make our meal special. Very impressive dining experience - great food, impressive variety of options, overly accommodating for allergies, and a staff that wants you to take advantage of the “all you can eat” experience. Really blown away compared to Korean bbq joints. I’ve been converted.

This is one of our favorite places. Food and service never disappoints. It is, however, a pricier option than many other restaurants. I recommend going for weekday lunch (which is very economically priced) or happy hour time meals or ordering the set meals including AYCE). I do not recommend ordering strictly a la carte. Crazy expensive if you do. We did the seasonal BBQ, with an add of some sort of beef that wasn’t in the package. Two glasses of wine, a cocktail and a Diet Coke along with two waters. I took home leftovers for dinner.

This location has AYCE all throughout the week so instead of doing the Mother’s Day special we went with AYCE menu instead and got supreme so that we could get all the options to choose from on the menu. The meats came out rather slow but it was Mother’s Day so I’ll let that slide. The quality of the meats were great and I feel like filet mignon could have been better if they were cut into smaller pieces. Other than that, all the other meats we ate were fantastic. My favorites were the prime kalbi short rib, harami skirt steak, and the kalbi chuck rib. I did try the gyu sushi and it was probably my least favorite of the items we got. For desert we got the mochi ice cream, I had tried strawberry, jasmine, lychee, and mango. My friend got matcha and chocolate. Out of all the flavors I think my favorite was lychee then strawberry. Overall wonderful experience with great attentive service. A bit on the slow side in terms of getting the ordered items on the table but it’s not a big deal. Would definitely come again in a bigger group setting or for date night.

The food was way too expensive for what you got. It was way too loud lacks flavor. The noodles were burned on the bottom of the bowl race is burned on the bottom of the bowl. It was very expensive for the food that you got however, the service was outstanding.

First time here. We wanted to try something similar to Korean BBQ and this gem popped up, and I’m so glad it did! The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and informative. We will definitely come back for another great date night.

Parking is not the easiest in Cherry Creek but after 6:00 it get a bit easier on the street. The hosts are really prompt in greeting patrons and are very pleasant. The food has a few options. I recommend the all you can eat option and try the lower priced one first. The 2nd and 3rd levels add cost but until you get the hang of it, you might not get a full value from your experience. You get 90 min to dine in the All-You-Can Eat options. Make good use of it by ordering twice as much as you would think. Your server will bring more as you request, but you're going to have stuff on the grill constantly! Also, I suggest you pay close attention to everything you put on the grill as they can burn quickly. Try the dipping sauces and try the sides to break up the meat items; the cheese butter corn is one of my favs. Lastly, leave room for a dessert. It's spendy but worthwhile.

Cooking for yourself is kind of fun, and you can cook it to your desired temperature. Lots of meat and very small amount of vegetables to grill. Didn't seem very clean, sauces on the table were sticky and stuck to the tray and the labels were mostly worn off so you couldn't see what they were.

I love the relaxed feel of this place. I definitely would return to try more dishes. On top of the amazing main course, there were several courses, including an appetizer, soup, salad and dessert. For the amount of food we received and the quality of the food, the value of the entire experience was excellent. Service was well-timed and friendly. My only complaint would be the grill/stove that you use to cook your own meats was a bit small for four people. Three people or less would be ideal.

Food was decently good. Problem was the service. Sat us down, didn’t give us menu for 20 minutes. Didn’t offer the AYCE menu. Asked for the AYCE 10 minutes later when server came back. Then was finally able to put in order. Never been to a Gyu Kaku previously, and it wasn’t until we had our grill changed 4 times before a different server asked us to only put 2 pieces of toro beef on the grill or it’ll flame up… Sat us right next to a table of 3 people when there were 3 tables in that section, the furthest one being empty. We could hear their conversation vice versa. Restaurant wasn’t that busy. Probably won’t be returning due to service. Basically was only able to order twice in the 75 minute limit, as that’s how many times our server came to take orders.

Food was good, but unfortunately the service was very, very slow. Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and we sat for over 30 minutes to get food that we had ordered while the grill was heating literally nothing. Nobody came to refill our waters either.

Very nice experience. Celebrated my gals birthday and the wait staff gave her extra dessert! We picked the Meat Eater combination which was a perfect amount for the two of us. Overall the meat was very good and the appetizers were all delicious. I highly recommend this and we will be back.

Made a reservation, unbeknownst to me, 30 minutes prior to the kitchen closing. The staff were accompanied and understanding and let us know over the phone and ahead of our ordering food. Kelsey and her trainee worked diligently with us for the evening and helped get the food out asap. I was thrilled with both pricing AND quality of all the food. I saw that they have happy hour and I promise you: I will DEFINITELY be returning for it! AMAZING PLACE!

Maybe it was just a fluke but service was very slow to the point that we were told it was last call for our 90 minutes but we had spent a good chunk of time waiting for the second round of items we ordered I believe it was about 40 minutes. The servers didn’t seem to have very well balanced sections and the tables were incredibly small for how slowly they maintain the service. They were out of a few items which we would have not ordered the highest ayce had we known. Overall I would not recommend going for the highest ayce. The lower option based on their service would be on par with their rules.
