    We arrived right before the reservation time and it was busy so there was a bit of a wait. Once we were seated the service was quick to get us drinks. Since there was three of us dining we decided to go for the 3 person variety meal, which included chicken, beef and pork. The food was all really tasty and the s’mores at the end were a real treat. This is definitely a spot I would like to return to for a special occasion.

    We were seated quickly, helped by a server thereafter, and food and drinks came fast. We ordered the meat lovers for 2, and upgraded rice to bibimbap, and one cut of meat to their best cut (would highly recommend). Dipping sauces were flavourful, and meat that was already marinated was delicious. We will be returning for sure with some friends to eat there again :)

    Was an interesting experience. The meat was good quality and everything tasted good. As far as bang for your buck goes it wasn't the greatest. But it's worth trying out.

    The food was great, wish the dressing would have came on the side for the salad as some don’t like dressing. Our server was absolutely fantastic, polite, positive and attentive. She alone made our first time here amazing and would recommend to everyone.

    It was our first time at Gyu-kaku and I wasn’t impressed by the food or the service. The food was average at best. The waitress just kind of threw the food on the table and disappeared. We got the chefs special which is $50 per person and didn’t seem like enough. Apparently if you wear your oilers jersey on game day you get a discount.

    We went here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and NYE and all i could say is they did not disappoint. Food came out so quick and it was amazing! We had the yakiniku set for 4 people and left with happy & full stomachs. The matcha tiramisu (not pictured since i inhaled it so quick) is definitely worth the try. exactly how i imagined it would taste like but better! Would definitely be back

    Great night, first time at this location and the food was outstanding - the garlic noodles, cheese corn, all the different marinades, everything was top notch. It was a great first time for my mom and sister being introduced to Japanese BBQ and Gyu-Kaku. Few pieces that fell below was the hostess seating us at a table where the box under the table inhibited us comfortably, then arguing when we asked to sit somewhere else, insisting it was a table for 4. That table did not seat 4 comfortably. We did wait a long while between some courses and getting refills on drinks or changing our grill, but our server himself was amazing when he was there.

    A really fun and interesting way to have a social gathering. Our meal became incredibly interactive because of the unique way of cooking and sharing the food choices. Will definitely come back!

    The food was good and was a unique experience but we found service to be a bit poor. We were a large group but half the table was done their starters before the other half even got their food. Drinks didn’t come until well after first few plates of food were served. Took 30+ minutes to wait for our bill.

    Charging high mandatory tips because we had 6 people…but within that 6 people there were 2 young kids and barely ate anything. Food was so so comparing to previous experience but high price due to holiday. Will stop going in the foreseeable future.
