Food quality getting worst and worst. Happens mainly in the richmond location. Service is slow. Most of the people who works there just wanders around.

Due to pandemic, the restaurant is not too crowded. Better book using Open Table in advance.

Even with reservations, I found myself waiting about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us at the door. Once inside, service was slow but the staff are all nice. I get the feeling they are either understaffed or the operations can be more efficient.

We ordered chef set for 2. We love the stone rice and beef. It’s a bit weird with 2 kinds of salad. Better to have more lettuce to wrap with meat than two kinds of salad. Overall is good

Food was delicious. First time I have been to Gyu-Kaku and I would 100 percent recommend it.

We went for the first time, had reservations for 8:30 am, and they let us know after they seated us, that last call is for 8:45 am. Given that we’d never been before - this was a bit of a turn off, as we didn’t know what their menu had or how ordering worked. It definitely felt rushed for sure, and I don’t think taking reservations that late is worth it.

food was good as usual. sat in a corner booth, and only about 1/3 of the grill actually had enough heat to cook. took us much longer than necessary to get through what we ordered, and in the end i was still hungry but we did not have time to order more food. server and managers were not very helpful, and we just got a sorry for your inconvenience apology. I'll still go again, but the service was definitely sub par compared to the other times I've been.

Need to have a checklist when ordering set menu to avoid missing some of dishes included. Received a complimentary desserts due to the incident.

Tasty Gyu in Richmond that is still running with lower occupancy due to Covid. Took a while to get our food out, but was good once we got going.

I always enjoy dining at Gyu Kaku. The service is always good and the staff are very friendly and they do pay attention to details.

The food portion is not as big as before, overall the food tastes good and I will come back again and would like to try the happy hour next time.

salad came at last which was very stupid. all the meats were very salty, hard to tell the quality of the meat and its freshness. and inside music is very loudddd, can hardly talk with friends. overall not recommended

delicious Korean bbq. They no longer a have happy hour menu and the Covid menu is limited. Thy do have all their signature meats.

Good social distancing practice and all staff wear mask and I feel safe when dine in. Food and service is good. Price reasonable with quality meat.yes will go back

Amazing service! It was our first time here so we asked our server for recommendations. He was very knowledgeable and knew just what we would enjoy. The food was pretty good but not amazing despite the more expensive pricing. Overall a great experience and would probably come back again!

We love coming here! Always busy no matter what time you go so reservations are a must even for two people. Great staff and good music.

As usual lunch occasion ...our waiter was excellent except he made an error on our bill but looks like he’s new (not his mistake ) ordered lunch special $12.95 which is pretty good deal as long as you do not make many upgrades otherwise it adds up go up to $20 plus no time ...still not bad deal ....
