Great food and decor. Super friendly bartender

I had the Wagyu filet and my boyfriend had a burger with a fried egg and bacon added. Everything was amazing! Strong drinks, juicy meat, perfectly cooked fries. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in town again.

H&F Burger was good, but they should change their name since there is only one type of burger on the menu. The rest is chicken and oysters. They also offer a trio of deviled eggs appetizer that was delicious, composed of 3 types of deviled eggs. The craft cocktails are amazing and it was nice to see a domestic beer on the menu amidst the local fare. COVID practices made you feel safe and healthy. Nice job.

H&F in Atlanta has always been a favorite. This place does not disappoint. The original burger is AMAZING! The booze milkshakes and cocktails pair well and are expertly made. Service was a little slow in the beginning, then picked up shortly after drinks were delivered. Highly recommend, 12/10!

Last minute and late night date night. They seated us at 830 and had our burgers and drinks out in good time. The burgers are phenomenal! So good we are going back next day with the kids!

Hands down the best cheeseburger and I don’t say that lightly. Their meat blend, homemade brioche bun, and homemade condiments and pickles create a masterpiece. Before, the only place to get this burger was in Atlanta but apparently the owner’s sister lives in Asheville and decided to open one here. Soooo happy she did!!

The website is great and made me excited to make a reservation. Unfortunately when we arrived it wasn't as trendy and cool. The servers seemed overwhelmed and therefore were not super welcoming. We ordered a cocktail, the Apostrophe (as mentioned on the website as the house cocktail that each bartender had their own version - super cool, right?!?! but....) our server said "I don't know what that is?" When we mentioned the website she rolled her eyes and said " we haven't done that for years" Yikes! So old website...got it! That explained a lot to me about how I was feeling about the place. It used to be a loved and well taken care of restaurant that has now been neglected..

My husband ordered the large gnocchi. Several minutes later we were told there wasn't enough for the large unless we were willing to wait an extra 10 minutes. We said we were okay with that. Unfortunately hindsight is 20/20. We should have taken the hint and ordered something else. What he got was all sauce and if there was gnocchi in it, we couldn't find it.

I got the burger and fries and it was excellent. So there was that.

Definitely try the deviled eggs. They’re cheap and something diff than your typical restaurant.

Great place for lunch. Great traditional ground beef cheeseburgers and turkey burgers and best fries in town. Don't hesitate to go and enjoy.

Was able to get an Open Table reservation quickly and easily. Sat outside on patio. Food was great and service was good. Would recommend. H+F is known for their delicious burgers, but hubs and I split the half fried chicken and fries. Also had the pretzel with beer cheese. Everything was delicious!

This place has the best cheeseburgers that I have ever had in my entire life. Amazing fresh made homemade ketchup and mustard and all the sides. What a great and surprising place to eat.

Food and service on point...great location near our hotel. Who doesn't love a good drink by friendly staff??? Highly recommend.

I had an OK meal. Nothing special. I ordered a dirty martini. I get the bill and was charge $27 for ONE GIN MARTINI made with CHEMIST GIN (a local Asheville gin made right down the street). Absolutely insane! The most expensive martini I have ever had in my life and at best, it was average. I am an Asheville local and will NEVER eat at this establishment again. On top of that, one person I was with had a service dog with her and was basically interrogated regarding her need for having her inside the restaurant. On a better note, our waiter was wonderful! As great as he was, it is not enough for me to ever want to come back here. What a disappointment.

Burgers were fantastic and a short walk from our hotel. The ambience was mild due to the social distancing. Would go back after things go back to normal.

Best Burger Ever!

We tried this place in Atlanta and loved it and the location in Asheville did not disappoint either. The wife and I both had the original burger. It was cool perfectly and tasted amazing!

Love the food! Great service.

Starters: Fried oysters and pickles, the Bacon (!!!), Deviled Eggs 3 ways, and the roast bone marrow (delicious). We would order all four again. Mains: Ricotta gnocchi and the Original Cheeseburger. They burger lived up to the hype and the gnocchi was really good too. Key Lime Pie for dessert.
The service here is lovely, professional and attentive, but not over bearing.

Love this place!! The burgers are delicious (I added a fried egg to mine, which was awesome) and the homemade ketchup & mustard are yummy. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive! They are taking the COVID guidelines seriously, so I felt really comfortable eating there. I highly recommend the boozy shakes- I had the Brandy Alexander!!! The whole experience felt like an updated, fun classic diner 😃

Delicious!!! Nice renovated building with great indoor/ outdoor seating options. Food was fantastic, well balanced menu for any diners need. Fun whiskey list with best pricing in town! Friendly service team that made an overall great meal! Will be back again soon!!!
