   Bday brunch for my daughter. Food is delicious, room and location are good. Welcome could be warmer. We were late. We were told we had 37 mins remaining in our booking. Clear communication for sure, feel it could be presented differently, perhaps more gently. A friend of mine was in there too and had same experience not encouraging a return trip. It’s a busy place. It feels like repeat customers or busies are may not be not a priority.

   It’s a lovely place with great staff, a lovely vibe and quality food. Probably the best hot choc I’ve had in a long long time. Definitely recommend it.

    We arrived there looking for a table and the staff asked if we had booking and we answer no, we asked if we could wait for table and he said around 1h. Then my friend took a coffee because it was rainning and I checked in the website and there was a spot available. Is this case your staff didn't show enought costumer service. After we order our order, our coffee was almost cold and they gave us the big size but he never asked which size we wanted. After that our sandwiche took so long to arrived at the table. So, I love the coffee at Bull island but there, it wasn't a good experience, unfortunatelly.

    Excellent find! Dined with our 2 kids ages 9&11 and we all loved the experience and the food. Very good menu with something for everyone and sooo tasty! We will be back for sure.

    It was really good I would recommend it . The table was quite sticky so I would recommend giving them a really good clean you have have to put your hands on them to feel the stickiness

    Rude staff. Received a glass with a lipstick stain. Asked the waitress for a fresh jug of water and she slammed it on the table. Ordered a drink which never arrived. My partner ordered a gluten free toastie and the waiter loudly announced that his coaelic sandwich arrived - my partner is not a coaelic and has a wheat allergy. My partner been ill since he ate the sandwich so it was either not gluten free or the sauce it was seved with was not gluten free. Will never eat there again.

    The place was absolutely filthy dirty. We arrived and asked for our table and the guy just stood there looking at us. We both looked at each in confusion and asked for our table again before they comprehended that we wanted to sit down. Sat down at our reserved table (with a little sign) and it was filthy. If you know the table is reserved the bare minimum thing to do is clean it before the customers arrive. We got up and moved. Second table was again filthy. When a member of staff came to clean it he just brushed the crumbs onto the floor and thus over us. Table beside us likewise filthy, seats filthy dirty also. Empty salt packets left in the holder from other customers and not emptied afterwards. Splashes of something on the walls again not cleaned. Staff bringing full rubbish bags through the restaurant out to the bins is not a good look. Likewise looking into the bin area is not enjoyable when eating. All tables filthy dirty and not cleaned when people leave them. It’s not nice to sit down to a table covered in dirt and crumbs from previous customers. Had to ask for the bill because staff were too interested in chatting amongst themselves and taking videos or pictures. Again had to ask could we pay the bill. Dirty brush sitting out in full view beside the till. If staff paid as much attention as they do to each other and their phones and actually cleaned and did basic customer service tasks then the place would be great. The only good thing was the food which was lovely and couldn’t fault that aspect. However the very very dirty environment and lack lustre of staff let it down majorly and would be slow to recommend due to this. If it’s dirty where customers can see I dread to think what it might be like behind the scenes.

    A quality neighborhood breakfast/lunch spot. Food was tasty. Large portions and good coffee. Service was attentive. Atmosphere is diner like which is what we expected. Would definitely return.
