Harbor Lights Tacoma
Everyone’s meal was perfect. Our server was over the top. She did a wonderful job taking care of us. Felt 100% safe dining there during Covid.
Great Experience and we had an incredible and timely waitress too
Overall good experience. Food was good, appetizers are very over priced for portion size. Drinks are good and decently priced. Great views and location.
Quality seafood, well trained staff, attention to details and treating the customer like a guest.
Great values on the sunset dinners.
Always a great spot to grab drinks or dinner. Though sometimes a little noisey, due to COVID it was nice and quiet.
Great views, lovely meal, attentive but unobtrusive wait staff. We will be back!
One of our favorite restaurants. Beautiful view, exceptional service and fantastic food. We also felt very safe with their COVID measures. Enjoy!
We were rushed with our dinner as they closed at 9PM. We thought they were open until 10PM.
Just alright food and service, but great view. Will go somewhere else next time.
Still COVID season here.bit we had a fantastic time, great view and a really nice server.
Great food, wonderful view and fabulous service. Would definitely recommend Harbor Lights.
Food was so so , and they were rushing us out after 20 minutes. Trying to take our plates away when we were not done eating and not refilling our coffee. There were open tables so it’s not like they were needing our table. We most likely will not be going back.
Went for early bird special and had salmon. Fish was moist and it was a good portion. Rice pilaf was very flavorful and beans were perfectly cooked. Meal come with appetizer and dessert. Calamari was well prepared as was the burnt cream. Great service and wonderful view. Tables were well placed with social distancing in mind.
This is a nice cozy restaurant with good seafood.
Harbor Lights is the restaurant we go to for all our family occasions and this time it did not disappoint. The waitress and stall made sure all of our needs were met . The food is some of the best seafood we have had anywhere.
Always been a go to place for dinner, coming down from Auburn is worth the trip. Something for everyone in the menu. Reasonably priced.
Food, Booze and Service well all good.
Service was especially good.
Server ( Linda ) made us feel that she wanted us to leave after we had our desert!
The food was amazing, and the service was even better! And who can complain about sitting at a window table that looks out at the bay!
This is a beautiful little restaurant on its own pier out in the water. That's why we chose it -- for the lovely view of night falling on the tideflats. We were seated at a table in the back corner of the bar where we could not see the water -- one of two tables in the whole place without a view. Sigh. Partly my fault -- I didn't request a window when I made the online reservation and we didn't ask the hostess for a different table. Still... When we entered the restaurant, I was wearing a mask and my husband wasn't. We were greeted by an agitated hostess literally waving a box of masks in my husband's face. He explained that he has a respiratory disease that makes it impossible to breathe in a mask. The hostess said that, if he would not wear a mask while walking to the table, we would have to dine outside. Seriously? It was a cool late September evening. NOT a great start to a dinner to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. Fine. My husband held a mask over his face as we were ushered into the afore mentioned back corner of the bar. It was awful, but we didn't want to cause a further fuss by asking for a different table. The food was mostly WONDERFUL. The baked potatoes, fresh green beans, and my husband's steak were cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. However, my husband was disgusted that he could not order a steak larger than 7 ounces. I had salmon and it was overcooked and dry. The waitress was, in my opinion, perfect -- friendly, efficient, and unobtrusive. Yes, pluses and minuses. It is a nice restaurant and it could have been a great evening, but it wasn't. For that amount of money, I can think of nicer, friendlier, more fun places to go.
It was a pleasure for us to finally venture out of our Covid-19 bubble and enjoy an early 55year anniversary dinner out. We felt Harbor lights did a great job of masking sanitizing and social distancing so we could enjoy our dinner out. Great job Harbor Lights!
I have been eating at Harbor Lights for decades. It is always outstanding. We traveled here from Hawaii. One of the first things we said was that we have to eat at Harbor Lights. ALWAYS OUTSTANDING.
Their fish is always done to perfection here. We had a waterfront table for a birthday celebration and the service was outstanding.
I saw that this restaurant was part of the Anthony's chain and expected Anthony's quality and food selection. The food was mediocre at best. The inside is old and musty. Virtually no outdoor seating. Took my son for his birthday and I felt bad. I know it's probably an old Tacoma favorite but it's time for it to retire or get a major overhaul.
Our mother was in town and wanted a nice place to celebrate a birthday. She was grateful s were we for such an experience in times like this. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was comfortable.
The food was priced a little too high and the quality was poor. our waitress was great and had an item removed from our bill because I didn't like it, I didn't even ask for that. She was working really hard and I appreciate it. It's not the waitstaffs problem that the food is terrible.
Nice we could get a reservations the same day. Dinners are reasonable and the service staff is great. Harbor Light's is keeping up the tradition of years of GREAT SERVICE!!!
It smelled a bit in the bar area where we sat. Musty carpet smell. Food was tasty but small for the price. Drinks were good.
Beautiful view. Our waitress was great. Food was delicious. We had the seafood Mac & cheese and the king salmon dinner.
Menu was small, food was good. Waitress seemed impatient.
I’ve been there several times and always happy with the food and service. The waitress and busboy was very professional. The peach slump was an amazing eat of the meal. I’ve recommended friends and coworkers to Harbor Lights.
We ate here on August 31 the day before our anniversary as a last minute dinner. The food was amazing, view was great and very romantic. My fiancé had the steak and I had the fish. We also had dessert which they put candles on. I also had a great port and we both had mixed drinks. I would recommend this place for a date night or really even just a quick dinner. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because half way through we were completely rushed to finish. They should not accept 730pm reservations if they need you out by 830pm that's just silly. (I'm assuming they had to have everyone out by 900pm) We arrived on time and by the time our dinner was half way eaten we were being asked if we wanted another drink bc the bar was closing 15 min later asked if wanted dessert bc the kitchen was closing. I understand covid restrictions (we own a bar) but you shouldn't allow people to make reservations especially for a special occasion if they can't relax and finish their meal.
Awesome date night spot! Amazing service. Not too much, not too little... right on the sweet spot. We had a beautiful table outside overlooking the water. It was pretty private considering how many people were there. Quite satisfied.
The food and service were very good. The view was spectacular.
Always one of our favorites. Great food and the staff is very conscious of the times.
Fantastic fish, drinks, and salads. Joanie is the best!!!
Me and my family had a wonderful time at your establishment celebrate my mother's 80th birthday! Only thing we regret was not having an umbrella for shade. We wanted to sit outside which we did do but the sun started setting in the front of the building where we were sitting. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves so much that came back the next day me and had some more oysters. Thank you for being open and practicing being safe and following the mandate that.
All ways a great visit love the value of the dinners and the best is the 🦀 love it and the service is always awesome
Love it here every time!
Been coming for 40 years - thankful they are still here!!
My wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary here and it was a night to remember. My wife got the Harbor Lights Cobb Salad and she was in heaven! It was so delicious she couldn’t stop moaning about it. I was worried we would get kicked out of the restaurant the way she was carrying on, but that didn’t happen. If it would have happened I would blame it on the restaurant for having such a deliciously orgasmic salad on the menu. We also got the Baked Dungeness Crab, Shrimp & Artichoke Dip appetizer and it was wonderful! I had Fish & Chips, the Planko true Cod. It was good and the coleslaw was really delicious! We sat in this interesting area that steps down that is basically boxed in floor to ceiling windows with large sliding doors. It was like eating outside, but not quite. They have limited outdoor seating available in 2 person tables. I highly recommend Harbor Lights for a pleasant, delicious dining experience!
