Excellent and delicious menu choices, best combination of tastes we have experienced in Adelaide by far.Superb special occasion choice.

Dinner was lovely but the table that we were giving was dissapointing as i faced the wall would have preferred my back to the wall and facing intowards the room. We asked if we could move and eventually were moved to the window table so we could have our dessert in which we were delighted as we were celebrating our anniversary. Also the wine list is a book too big. We would come again

This is one of the rare places that ticks all the boxes: The food - all 4 courses we had were simply outstanding. Service was great and we enjoyed the beautiful view over the Adelaide Hills. We will be back!

A great restaurant for a special occasion. The food is great and very artistically presented. Book the restaurant and stay the night at Mt Lofty House you will not be disappointed.

I last ate at Hardy's Verandah a few years ago - and whilst the food was delicious, I still felt a little hungry afterwards - something that even the staff at Mt Lofty house discreetly mentioned to me at the time (I am also not that big an eater - a quarter chicken and chip meal will have me feeling very very full for the day!). This time however, they definitely addressed this issue with the perfect amount of food. The food itself was delicious also - I like how they show cased the mayura wagyu in more than one course! The service was excellent and the sommelier knowledgable when asked to match a few of the courses with sake. I would definitely return and recommend this place as one of few fine dining places left in Adelaide.

Excellent experience. Our waiter Jess was outstanding and the food was delicious. As for their sourdough bread, I can’t even describe how delicious. We had a room to ourselves and the view was also wonderful. Signage to the restaurant wasn’t as straightforward as I’d expect but no matter, I truely loved the whole experience.

The food and service was phenomenal. Every bite was fireworks in your mouth. The view was a bit obstructed in the corner but not significant, still very beautiful. Only thing is some more signs would be good because got a bit lost on site trying to find the restaurant.

All aspects of this experience were superlative. Treat yourself!

we loved our stay, beautiful gardens with Botanic garden setting great for walks, room was clean & lovely, staff were very pleasant and our 7 course degustation was amazing...... definitely be coming back

Beautiful estate and view of the rolling hills. Service was exceptional from the very moment Lina greets us, to the rest of team taking their job very professionally. We had the 4 course meal and nothing much to complain about - Food was absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely visit again - one of the best if not the best dining experience in Adelaide.

Good afternoon, we dined at your restaurant on the 8/12/2020. We were so very impressed with the view, ambiance and privacy that was on offer. The menu was superb. We would like to say a big thank you to all of the staff that waited on us without being intrusive. In particular we would like to say a big thank you to Sammy who in our opinion was first class, very polite, courteous, spoke well and was an absolute pleasure to deal with, she turned our very special evening into a spectacular evening.

Overall and excellent fine-dining experience.
We were warmly greeted at the door and shown to our window side seats.
We went for the full degustation experience with the long story menu- seven courses with wine pairing.
Dishes were memorable and the menus was varied from before.
This particular seating - the winner for us was the raw Mayura Wagyu rump, ponzu and salted egg emulsion. The flavour of the dish with its pleasant aromatic surprise of what the wagyu hid (not spoilers) was a testament to the chef's creativity and skill
Our sommelier, Lina, took us on a travel experience with a purposefully picked selection from whites of France to rice wine of Japan and, naturally, back home in SA (a journey much missed with the closed international borders during COVID). The exciting tones and colours of each dish complimented well with each pairing.
Service was attentive and helpful- though there was one particular waiter that was rather abrupt and almost slapped the dishes onto our table. It did detract from the experience.
We were very pleased with the night, and while the bill certainly was on the higher spectrum for fine dining, it was definitely worth every cent. The food was excellent, wine choices impeccable and the service was great. This was our second time dining at Hardy's and it will certainly not be our last.

The food, the views and the people were amazing. Every mouth full was mind blowing, bursting with flavours. We will be returning to the best restaurant in Adelaide.

Although it was pretty expensive it is a lovely place for a special occasion. The food was lovely, and was paired beautifully with the different wines. The wait staff were attentive without being intrusive. ☺️

Greeted with a smile, service was lovely, food well presented and delicious combined with a beautiful view of the Adelaide Hills.

Waiters were difficult to understand as English was not their first language. Also they spoke too quietly with a mumble when explaining the food. Our table’s view was minimal because of the window slated, door frame and outside wall. Could be replaced with a large window as were the rest of the verandah and that blocked access wall removed.

Just unbelievably, outstandingly good. World class.

We visited Hardy’s Verandah for our anniversary and we had a wonderful time! The food was outstanding as well as the service! Will definitely be returning sometime soon.

The food was really great. The service was great. The pace was right on.

My Lofty house provides beautiful views and a peaceful setting. The service was excellent although it was difficult to understand some of the staff. Some of the food courses were delicious, but quite a few were very salty or had a strong flavour- maybe coriander. The prices of the wine were very expensive - $80 for a $30 bottle of wine. Overall, a lot to pay for a beautiful setting and view.

A little disappointed. The staff seemed confused. We received two of our courses twice and out of order. In addition the leak dish tasted burnt. I had higher expectations of a three hat restaurant. For the price it should do better.
