went for dinner on NYE. Service was excellent and food was great!

We ordered salad for lunch. They are fresh and tasty. Warm bread before the entree would be better than cold and hard.
Service is good and friendly.

Our group of four were staying overnight to catch a morning flight and didn't want to go far from our hotel. The food was fairly priced, but average at best. My Mushroom Risoto had so much sauce/broth it was almost soupy. My friend's dishes were just okay.

I ordered a martini that was a very small pour and at that was watered down.

The Server was nice, but on a night when only 20% of the tables were occupied, she disappeared for long periods of time.

I would not recommend this restaurant.

A wonderful visit with family while enjoying the brunch menu only offered on weekends. Great value for a meal as you get coffee, juice, fruit, and pastries included. Sandra, our server was attentive and very friendly making our morning very enjoyable.

We always enjoy our visit to Harold's. It's one of the few restaurants in Richmond
that you can talk without competing with background noise.

We went to Harolds for dinner before the theater. It isn’t fine dining but was excellent for our purposes. Fast friendly service and a reasonable selection of dinner entrees. A very good place for families and those on a time sensitive schedule.

Good food, service was great. Jimmy j was out server suggested great items from the menu. Best item in the menu was the bread pudding. Service was quick.

It was our first visit to Harold's... loved it ! The food was outstanding. We tried the meat loaf and butter chicken with sauted green beans. Beautiful presentation and quality ingredients. Compliments to the chef.
The service was also outstanding. The hostess made us feel welcome right from the start and the waitress had a delightful personality. The service was efficient and timed perfectly to our needs. We didn't feel rushed or have to wait un-necessarily. We will defiantly will visit again with friends and family. Thank you everyone.

We had a lovely brunch on Sunday, Dec 22 prior to attending a matinee performance at the Gateway.

Prices were more expensive than I remember especially for brunch, but ambience and service has always been excellent. Food was good, but price was too much for what it was.

Always an awesome visit! Lamb shanks, black cod, scallops, mussels and calamari were all delicious!!! My family were so impressed with quality of food and excellent service! Definitely coming back and highly recommended.

The location was convenient for what we needed, but it was hard to find parking outside. We were seated quickly as it wasn’t busy (6pm). The service was ok, just nothing outstanding. The food looked good but was mediocre. The butter chicken was dry and needed a lot more sauce and The burger didn’t wow me and it was impossible to eat it with the bun and my hands - everything slipped on to the plate. I likely wouldn’t chose this place again unless I had to.

It was date night - dinner and a play with friends. Everything about our meal was very nice - good choices on the menu, very nice service, tasty food, good ambience, and an easy walk to the theatre. We used our Entertainment Book coupon, so the price was very good.

We went for the Thanksgiving lunch special; service was really attentive and friendly! Everyone enjoyed their meals except the Ahi Tuna was very fishy; the marinate spices and sauce don’t pair that well and it’s salty (maybe to cover the fishy taste?). Overall a good experience. Thank you

We have been going to Harold's at regular intervals for brunch. Never disappoint!

We stayed at the Sheraton on a stopover for the night, we didn’t want to travel too far for a nice restaurant. After checking the ratings for restaurants in the area, we found that Harold’s Kitchen, located in the hotel was one of the highest rated restaurants in the community. We made our reservations and enjoyed dinner there, and were very impressed with the experience. We highly recommend Harold’s Kitchen!

Service friendly and prompt. Serving portions somewhat on small side.

Our server was fantastic! He recommended good dishes and made celebrating my parent’s anniversary very special! The bread pudding was a very nice touch too! Overall, had an incredible experience!

We had a casual farewell dinner with friends. Our server was exceptional. The food was very good. The fish and chips and hamburger were excellent.

Kids upset no more Mac and Cheese, but ok for waitress to offer other Cheese options

Went in for a quick dinner, the service was amazing and the food came extremely quick. It was a very pleasant experience and I would go back again.

Service is good. Bread pudding is phenomenal! We often just go to Harold’s for dessert.

The wait staff and overall service were decent enough, however both my partner’s entrees and my own left much to be desired: the Alfredo was under seasoned, chicken dry, & pasta undercooked, while my New York steak was over cooked, served well done (ordered mid) with carrots underdone.

Overall a decent try, but not worthy of a return in my books with subpar food & poorly-attended dinner service.

The dinner was ruined by an non-professional server for an unknown reason that she was hiding somewhere for more than 10 mins after serving the first drinks. The restaurant was not busy at the time. I went to the reception at the front to ask for services. The server dismissed herself from serving us with her choice and her excuse when I went back to the table.
Finally, the manager had to take over her job to serve us. He managed the situation professionally; and he treated us well with good services. Overall, the restaurant is not bad in my past experience.

Our meal was tasty, good comfort food in a pleasant ambience. Service was attentive and prices are fair.

Food and service was great. There’s just this one service crew who was overly too nice to my 3 year old. She hugged and even tried to have my daughter kiss her on the cheek. I don’t really appreciate that.

It's a quality restaurant that like so many has poor acoustic design. It's a highly reverberate environment that makes it difficult to carry on a conversation without raising your voice.

Very good food and the service is fantastic. It’s good for work mingling and catch up with friends.
