   Arrived for brunch at 10:45 and there were just a few tables occupied. We stood at the hostess stand for several minutes. The bartender was making drinks but there was no one at the bar. She looked up at us several times but never smiled or greeted us. Finally someone who appeared to be the manager came out from the kitchen. He was very nice and took us to a booth near the bar. The interior of the restaurant is very nice - significantly freshened up since its days as Cru Bistro and Wicked Chicken. Quiet when we arrived but a jazz combo was getting going as we left. The waiter was friendly and competent but overstretched as he appeared to be covering all of the occupied tables both inside and outside with an occasional assist from the man who seated us. He took our drink order and said he would give us time to look at the menu. It took a while to get our drinks - a mimosa and a sweet tea - because it appears that all drinks come from the bar and by now the bartender was busy making drinks and chatting up several people sitting there. The waiter took our order after bringing the drinks. When I tried to order the biscuits and gravy I was told there were no biscuits as they hadn’t been made this morning. This seemed to be a key item on the brunch menu as a few of the other offerings included biscuits so that was perplexing as well as disappointing and I wish he had thought to tell us before we decided on our orders. Because we had waited quite a while to this point, we didn’t want to send him away for a few more minutes to decide on something else as we feared we’d be waiting quite a while before he’d be able to make his way back to us. My friend ordered the Harvest Breakfast Sandwich and I quickly chose the Harvest Breakfast. Our food took longer than we expected but when it arrived the food was hot and overall the quality was good if not outstanding. Pass on the sausage gravy - too salty and the homemade jam which both of us agreed was totally flavorless.

   The whole table ordered the soup of the day which was supposed to be a Thai noodle soup. It was salty as the sea and so spicy. Even the waitress said it was bad. They replaced it with French onion soup which was OK. We all had salads with protein. Both the chicken and shrimp were dry and lettuce was brown on the ends. Very disappointed. Waitress was nice.

   The service was fine but my husband and I each ordered medium rare filets and they both came out over. My husband sent his back and was served another medium well filet. We had show tickets so we did not have time to wait again. We were disappointed that the kitchen could not cook a medium rare steak.

   Excellent meal. Tenille was a wonderful waitress. Perfection takes time, so it was a bit slow, but we weren’t in any hurry! Well done, Harvest!

    Our first time dining at Harvest’s Downtown location. Food was delicious, and the server (Jet) was phenomenal. Thank you for providing Knoxville with excellent food with exceptional service!

    Excellent food and service. A tad pricey but with the jazz brunch and quality and service worth every penny. Definitely will be making this place part of our go to spots for brunch and we are frequent brunchers.

    The grouper was a small portion and way expensive$58 and no sauce was on it. It was just barely warm not hot. The peas with the shrimp were under cooked and hard. The Brussels sprouts were delicious though.

    I feel the food is overpriced for the flavor. It was average. We ordered scallops and risotto. There were two scallops like warm and the risotto was cool. French onion soup was warm and it took some time to come out. We ordered the prime rib stroganoff which didn’t taste amazing for the price. With the exception of the long wait for the small plates the service was ok. We were told the reason for the long wait was that they were very busy however 2 customers that came in after us were served before us. Think they forgot about it honestly. Better places out there for better value.

    Food was amazing… probably should have stayed at the bar it was much quieter. Was very loud and couldn’t converse with my wife over the other people’s conversations… tables are too close. Server seem to disappear for long periods of time and not memorable at all… didn’t know what went with the daily chefs cut, which was roasted red potatoes and an onion chutney with an 8oz venison filet. Meal was perfect… hats off to the chef they will be the reason I go back!

    Our first experience at Harvest downtown was excellent! The food was top notch, great drinks and service. The oyster set up was unlike any I’ve had and was likely my favorite!

    One of my best meals ever...anywhere. We had grouper and salmon. Deviled eggs are ALWAYS amazing. Caramel cake and key lime pie were excellent!. Server was patient with our grandson. Speaking directly to him and his menu questions. Great evening!!

    Our Valentine’s dinner at Harvest couldn’t have been more wonderful! The food was delicious, and our waiter, Connor, was so personable, as well as knowledgeable about the menu. We loved our window seat, being able to look out on Gay Street, and will for sure ask for it and Connor again in the future!

    All dishes were cooked deliciously and our server was very attentive and well mannered. We were quite impressed with the French onion starter, the creative entrees and the overall service and attention to detail. We will certainly return in the future.

    Seated on time with great service. We needed to make a show. Our server was aware and made sure our food came on time. Four out of the five in our party really enjoyed their meals. Prime rib, Black lentils, Bibimbap Salmon and Beet salad were delicious! Winter salad missed the mark, although my friend said the salmon she ordered to accompany it was prepared well. We will definitely be back. I so loved the salmon dish I ordered it will be hard for me to choose another entree when we return.

    Best ribeye I’ve ever had hands down . Was very impressed ! Was not expecting to bite into such a good steak in Knoxville! Perfect sear and cooked exactly medium rare ! Service was outstanding and the drinks were very good as well. Will be coming back to try more items on the menu !

    We had dinner before going to see Hamilton at the Tennessee Theatre. It started out quiet but got very busy and loud later in our meal. I enjoyed my salmon and salad.

    The only issue we had was that 2 of our party arrived were seated in one place - they gave the name “Pearson”. Then the other two of us arrived - gave the name “Pearson” and were seated somewhere different. We did not realize that we were all there and waited 10-15 mins before we realized that we were all there. This caused us to be late to our plans after dinner. Otherwise- the food and service after this were spectacular. Still my favorite restaurant.

    Service was a bit slow at the start but I am pretty sure it was because we arrived right at the beginning of dinner shift. Once we ordered things moved much smoother. The food and portions were perfect. We will definitely be back.
