Harvest by Roy Ellamar - Bellagio
Awww some oysters!!
Thanks for a great evening celebrating my daughter's 20th birthday. It did run a bit slow and we almost missed our show but the server gave us desserts to apologize. It was great.
Very disappointing to be honest. Firstly we were sat at a two top next to the outer glass inner window which meant one of us had the view of the restaurant - very cool kitchen and design views, and one of us looked at a blank corridor, not cool.
We told our waiter we had a show to attend. We ordered food that was easy to prepare, mushroom soup and shrimp cocktail. But we waited 10 mins for the waiter to come over, 15 mins for drinks to come, 20 mins for the soups to come. My date is gluten free and had that discussion with the server. However her soup came w two pieces of bread smack in the middle of the soup. She sent it back and got salad. We then waited another 20 minutes for main courses. Shrimp cocktail and Flatbread shouldn’t have taken 20 minutes. The Shrimp was amazing, thumbs up. If you want flatbread don’t order it here. Its not flat bread. It is a home baked loaf of white bread the width of a super fat ciabatta and as long. Really not flatbread. It had the toppings prosciutto and goats cheese plopped on top, cold w a few strands of arugula. If it was billed as a specialty bread for two people w a topping maybe but it was not I expected a somewhat crispy certainly thin flatbread where the toppings were baked on. Not even close.
The martinis were delicious and pricey @16 but the manager took off one round as she apologized for how slow the service was. That was after we asked several employees for the bill and had to find the manager to actually get it. In a town like Las Vegas where many people are seeing shows you would expect that a high end expensive “named chef” restaurant would know how to do the dinning experience better than Harvest. Btw the two tables next to us clearly were having the same experience.
We allowed ample time for dinner and show. Reservation was 7:15 and show at 9:30
All in all I don’t write reviews often but the idea of others spending lots of money and having such a disappointing experience prompted me to share.
The ambiance, food and staff could not have been any better. I highly recommend this dining experience to anyone!!
The pasta was cooked beyond al dente, the mushroom soup was good, the radicchio salad was very dry. I requested more dressing. The service was great, but overall an underwhelming experience. I won’t be returning.
Service still very good, but food used to be better. Not much to talk about. Bellagio can do better.
Wonderful! Fresh and Clean. Loved seeing the kitchen in the middle of the room. Slightly loud, but quiet for Vegas standards. Had the scallops-perfection! Brussel sprouts are a MUST!
Great menu options. Good service.
A little noisy for conversation.
Wait staff was awesome!
Very nice high end restaurant with excellent food and good service. A bit expensive but every nice restaurant in Las Vegas is now expensive.
Absolutely no complaints about the food - the sea bass and pork chop dishes were excellent. Our waiter Favio was charming and was obviously working as hard as he could, but was over tasked with too many tables to see to. He dropped a tablet with cocktail photos and descriptions at our table, which was cool, but then was unable to return for an order for at least 15 to 20 minutes. He then also took our dinner orders. We asked for a little time to enjoy the cocktails but dinner and wine arrived before I could get halfway through the cocktail. Walking through the Bellagio is always lovely and with the Chinese New Year decorations was special. Dinner was great. It was the timing that was off.
Beautiful relaxing space. Great food and attentive service
Celebrated my birthday with a group of friends. We were seated in a niche that overlooked the action in the kitchen. It was so amazing to watch! From the moment we were greeted to when we left, the staff was fantastic. Quietly looking after us, never intrusive. The food was outstanding. No one was disappointed and there was a lot of sharing! Can't wait for a return visit.
Had a good time.
Most vegas restaurants are overrated. This one is not.
When I visit a restaurant I always compare the taste of the food by what I am able to do at home. Most of our meal was OK, and I could have made it. That's not good enough. We ate at much better restaurants in Las Vegas on our trip.
Wonderful we had my daughter’s birthday dinner Friday night the 17th. Lamb chop was out of this world so tender so delicious and the sea bass was so good. Love this restaurant
We were seated in a very special section. Enjoyed the view of the superb back of the house staff! Food was excellent, drinks were yummy and service was awesome. Thank you to Chef Roy and his staff!!
As always a smile upon arriving , prompt seating , great service even greater food and everyone from chef on down always a pleasure to see
While the food was good, the service was very disappointing. Our server would disappear for extended periods of time, she seemed irritated and was unfriendly. When our dinners came out, nobody took the time to clear up the apps, and more than half of those plates/empty players remained on the table through the entire meal. A 2.5 hour meal could have easily been cut to 90, and if there weren’t such extended gaps between the time our server would visit we like would have ordered dessert. There was easily 15-20 minutes between the time dessert menus were dropped off before she returned to ask if we wanted anything. Drinks were very slow to come out. I think we got our first bottle of wine about 30 minutes after arrival. Our college had enough time to walk over from the cosmo and sit down for about 10 minutes before the drink we pre-ordered for him arrived. I wouldn’t never go back.
Harvest is a lovely, modern space. Our food was very good - husband had a cold seafood platter and I had divers scallops - and the service excellent. The turmeric butter my scallops was served with was unique and wonderful. Not too crazy about the turnips, but the scallops were superb. My husband loved the assortment of small oysters, and of course, the lobster. He was quite impressed with the small tray with a variety of sauces. We will definitely be back.
We quite liked the food. It was creative. The service was very good but delayed in getting our checks to us so that we could get to our show without worry.
Loved loved loved this restaurant. Hands down in all areas the best. I loved the fresh take on all the dishes and the farm to table aspect. It was so nice to have a restaurant that features healthier eating while in Vegas.
Our dinner at Harvest was fabulous. Our friendly waitress recommended the sea bass for me and my husband ordered the pork chop. Both dishes were delicious and perfectly seasoned. (Not super salty.) We also enjoyed the 'green' side dish. Terrific service! We would definitely return.
Party of 8. Everyone was please but sometimes difficult to hear each other
Simply this... the best meal we've had in Las Vegas... ever! Everything about our dinner was outstanding... the welcome... the service... the ambiance... the amazing food. We've paid a lot more for dinners in Las Vegas and many other places... and NOT experienced the overall satisfaction of food, wine, and service we had at Harvest. Well done... two enthusiastic thumbs-up from my wife and me!
Great food. Great service.
Delicious food and great service!!!
Great food. Accommodated allergies. Restaurant is beautiful. Amazing view of the kitchen. Worth walking around while you’re waiting for your food.
The waitress was the best part of the dinner. The steak was 70% fat and the overall value is poor.
Shrimp cocktail was delicious, dinner was excellent. Very pleasant atmosphere
Awesome meal! Awesome service! Great drinks and atmosphere. Went here before seeing O. Fantastic night!
I’m using open table for many years and this is the worse restaurant experience I have ever had, I broke my teeth because they didn’t clean the scallop, I just bite and the shell was there, manager came and asked me if I want to call security but I didn’t want to destroy our new year with documents and reports, we end up by paying for drink and appetizer, the meat was dry also. Never Ever try this restaurant please. That’s the worse worse worse
Little pricey but got great food for the money. Drinks were surprisingly cheap for the Strip. Great atmosphere. Would certainly go back again next time we are in town.
One of the best meals I’ve had this year!
My family and friends ate here for Christmas dinner. Food and drinks were amazing! Highly recommend the ribeye. It’s thinly sliced and very well prepared. I’d say noise level was about the same as any other restaurant so it was a bit noisy but not terribly so. Overall a great experience!
The very best selection if fresh Organic, grass fed -pasture raised, wild caught food in all of Vegas. Wide selection that Pleases everyone for corporate meals. A killer wine list and bar. I wish Harvest was in my hometown in California! Bravo
This restaurant has beautiful ambience, but the food options were limited, and portions quite small, in addition I ordered the braised eggplant dish and it was Relatively flavorless. Great drink menu, service was impersonal and rushed. I was excited to visit this restaurant, but probably will not go back. The menu could definitely use some flair.
Delicious food in a quiet atmosphere. A bit off the beaten path however
