Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar – Glen Mills
Eclectic menu; Delta wave music; drinks were high priced. Portions were ample. Service was spotty...server was very attentive at first but disappeared after taking our order. Polite staff, nice ambiance.
First time for brunch. Delicious! Thank you very much!
Special was good but pricey. Charged me for a whole side of mac and cheese when I asked to substitute it.
Service and food outstanding ., definitely going back soon
Not as good as usual. We ordered a couple of bourbon drinks. Definitely not worth the price. Cauliflower wings were just ok. My veggie fried rice was excellent. And my husband always likes the bison burger.
We had really good service this visit and a single check by a manager, which is appropriate. We really like the cauliflower wings but they weren’t as good this time and had very little sauce. But everything else was pretty good.
There was only one person on the front desk when we came in and she was struggling to handle the phone and people arriving. She seemed grumpy, which started things off poorly but things improved!
Always enjoy myself at Harvest!
While the service was exceptional and the food was delicious, I feel that I did not get my money’s worth. My wife had a $15 hamburger and I had an $18 salad. My salad was literally a piece of salmon and arugula lettuce. The salmon was cooked to perfection, but the rest of the presentation was minimal. My wife’s burger was also outstanding (her words), but the fries and gluten free role were extra. I was disappointed to spend $53 for a burger and fries, salad with salmon, and water. Beautiful restaurant, so I guess you’re paying for the ambience and taste. I went home and had a snack.
Dinner at Harvest tonight was AWESOME, as always! Blake and Alyssa, our favorite servers, were great!! For drinks, Mom and I had water, and Dad had hot tea with honey and lemon. For appetizers, we ordered our favorite, the Butternut Squash Soup, with honey and pumpkin seeds on the side for Dad and me. Mom had hers plain. For the main course, all three of us got the Sesame Chicken without the Organic Cilantro-Lime Rice. It had bell peppers, sweet onions, kale, snow peas, ginger tamari, toasted sesame seeds, and a pea tendrill. We substituted ginger soy soba noodles for the rice. It was yummy!! For dessert, I ordered the Chocolate Salted Caramel Mousse with no salt, my favorite! Steve, who is the general manager, and Chef Dylan all came by to say hello and to see how our food was. Thanks for another great meal Harvest family! See you soon! The Winter Menu lasts until March, so order your favorites before they are all gone!
Pricey, but perfect for Valentine's Day with my fiance! Our waitress was amazing!
We had horrible seats we were right next to the wait station. The fast walking back and forth and the dish clanging was bad enough but then they took
Out the trash which smelled horrible and ruined the dinner
Ask for a booth for extra comfort away from the open kitchen area to reduce the noise level. The bar area is a nice alternative to dining room seating. Great seasonal menu, good wine selection and good mixologists.
We once again celebrated our anniversary at Harvest, our favorite restaurant! We have always had excellent service, but this time was exceptional and the best yet. Our servers, Angelina and Samaya, were friendly and efficient, and this was the first time we received a complimentary anniversary dessert. The food was excellent. My husband was going on about the freshness of the salad and loved the vegetarian Chili. I rarely clean my plate, but I had no problem doing so with the scallops. All excellent! Thank you
When looking for a nice restaurant that would be open later than 9:00pm and found Harvest! Valentine’s Day date night and reviews looked extremely positive. Put in a reservation through open table and was seated at a nice booth and given our menus. It took about 10-15 minutes for us to be given our drinks. There must have been some confusion with who was supposed to weigh on our table. The food from the Valentine’s Day menu was delicious and service aside from the confusion was great.
It was average. The first few years were better, but now it’s not as good. Both my fish and my husband’s steak were overcooked.
Fabulous as usual...one of our most favorite "go to" places to dine.
Place runs like a top. I keep thinking why don't we come here more often after we pop in for a spontaneous dinner date mid-week? Food is always bright, fresh and typically GOOD for us. Prices match nicely with portion and protein size. They do the helping circle rotation of servers - and when that system works, it works. Never felt rushed, but plates were delivered in a timely fashion. The Tuna appetizer was delicious, the scallops were obviously dry pack as they were sweet. They do the grown-up thing and ask if you'd prefer the 4oz or 7oz pour and it's just an overall pleasant surprise every time we go.
This is a frequent go-to place for me, and it has been consistently excellent in both food and service. Ambiance and the changing menus are also exceptional.
Always enjoy Harvest and do not have any complaints about my experience here ever. The atmosphere is fantastic for a nice date night.
seriously overbooked - crowds waiting for tables, took more than 30 minutes for our table to become available despite reserving the day prior
Amazing food. Great wine list! Attentive service!
Both my husband and my entrees were horrible. He ordered the pork chop and it was so dry. His veges were cold. My filet was so dry. Both the chop and filet were tasteless. The waitress did ask if there was anything she could do however unless she brought out new meals, which took longer than usual to cook in the first place, we weren't interested.
Harvest is a good place for family groups, but maybe not the coziest atmosphere for date night. Our food was very good, but we had a few things that could have made things more outstanding. We were seated right between two server stations (by the bar and by the wait staff unit). Our cocktails were a bit too sweet (Black cherry manhattan and winter stormy) and the bar was a little too much like a hotel bar for us to enjoy. The beet tartare needed a bit more salt as it was a bit bland and my partner’s filet mignonette steak was a little on the liquid smoke side of too strong. My lobster risotto was quite good though and we really enjoyed the maple custard dessert. Overall, a very good dining experience for us, but a bit too middle of the road for us food adventurous and maybe not our favorite type of atmosphere.
Really nice people. Delicious food. Always feel welcome when I come here. I can’t speak for the other restaurants in the chain but the Glen Mills location is excellent.
The food was amazing, we will definitely return for more. The waitress, Andrea was super helpful and made sure our first visit was an excellent experience! Thanks!
Catherine Mills was a pleasure and did very well at servicing our table and getting out our food in a prompt way.
She was very knowledgeable about each dish as she described them for us to make our choice
Service is outstanding at Harvest. Exceptional attention paid to food allergies.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere! It is one of our favorite places and never disappoints.
Food not up to usual standards. Steak was ordered medium rare; was provided well done. Sent back. Replacement was cooked correctly. We come here a lot. Disappointed with this experience.
Overall, it was a good visit. The flooring on the upper level needs to be addressed as it sounds like a stamped of horses when people walk by one's table. If you suffer from anxiety, sit in the lower dinning area. Our server was a sweet young lady, so that was good. The food was quite tasty, but the serving sizes are small. May need to make plans before or after the meal to fill up. Other than that it was good.
I often recommend Harvest to my friends, and I love to go there (Glen Mills). The entrance is quite grand, but once inside, The decor is pretty generic. I had Eggs Benedict, which was totally delicious, but I couldn't cut the English muffin. It was just too tough for the knife. The waitress very kindly looked through the collection of knives to find a sharper one for me, which worked very well. I love the seasonal menu items, the mocktails, the lovely dessert tray, delicious coffee, and excellent service. But get some steak knives!!
Never had a bad meal or experience at Harvest- good and service excellent
This is one of our favorite restaurants! My husband and son surprised me and took me out to dinner for my 40th Birthday. It was a perfect night! The signature cocktails were on point, the food was delicious and the service outstanding! It made my day extra special! Thank You!
Food / service always outstanding.
Noise level is a bit much.
Our server Branden was great and restaurant week was a great way to try things that I would not normally try.
Food is always good, serving sizes for the prix fix restaurant week menu were decent. Left full!
Wonderful service and delicious food. Perfect serving sizes too!
We went restaurant week. Samon was delicious and meatloaf as well. Soups and dessert were wonderful. I didnt really care for the flatbread. Wasnt very tasty. The sides with my salmon, (potatoes) were cool. Not hot. But like I said the salmon was delicious.
