First time ever I’ve had to send food back, the steak was so tough it was inedible. We could clearly see the chefs complaining about me for sending it back, but I literally had no choice. The second steak was edible and much nicer.

Food was not great. Portion size was small. Food had been reheated and did not taste that good Would not go back again.

There was no booking for us when we arrived. The manager kindly squeezed us in but said he was not aware of Open Table. The service for breakfast was slow. They had no smoked salmon, so two of us chose Californian Eggs. The bun was not toasted, the avocado and salsa came straight from the fridge and this was topped by a Luke warm poached egg. Vile. The full English was apparently very good and was highly recommended.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I Was left for 20 mins with 2 small children. Shown to a table and left with no drinks or any member of staff to make eye contact with to order anything. We left after trying to get someone's attention. Lots of members of staff around they all ignored us. Menu choice was rubbish too. One star is too polite. It Won't let me leave a zero for rating.

Overall the food was value for money good quality of food and staff were very helpful and friendly the venue was clean and a welcoming environment. Only criticism would be that you can't book over the phone and when we were booking table online it would not allow us to select 5 people or above only option was below 5 so we had to select 4 people and on arrival explain what had happened which the staff were apologetic and understanding and accommodated us a party of 5.
