Harvester - The Cooper Dean

Already left one review - promised voucher for free starter.... strangely never turned up! Incredibly poor service. We waited 15 mins before anyone would even take our drinks order despite being seated at our reserved table on time. When the food came there were no mushrooms or onion rings as stated on the menu and no real apology. We were never asked if we had enjoyed our food or in fact communicated with at all - won't be making the trip over to the newly refurbished Cooper Dean again!

Went for a quick family meal whilst on holiday in the area. It was ok. I've had better and worse. Relativly cheap, no frills food. Salad selection was a bit poor compared to other Harvester's I've visited. Food was ok. Served relatively quick but staff seemed rushed and flustered. Venue could do with a deep clean. Sticky doors, tables and carpets.

When we walked into Harvester we had to wait several minutes at the bar before being served drinks. We asked for a table for 3 person by the window. This we got. We ordered our food and did have to wait too long for the meals to arrive. My meal was dry pasta with 3 small strips of chicken. Not appetising. I did not return the food due to limited time. The best part of the lunch was the service. Our waiter was Dan and he was very professional and at times amusing. I will not be returning any time soon.

The service and waitress was good, but the Chips were like cardboard and tasteless and not very warm. The chicken and ribs tasted ok but were served up in a metal dish that had an inch high rim that made it awkward to cut the food.
Wine as always was too expensive.
