We are long time customers but it's doubtful we will go back. Sadly, the menu has been stripped down quite a bit and someone in the kitchen is overdoing it with the hot pepper. We tried the burrata, which was very fresh but over powering with red chili oil (slippery too) and the almonds seemed way out of place. For dinner, one got the hanger steak and it arrived very under cooked even though our server (who was wonderful) did ask and discuss the cooking degrees, which we agreed on medium rare. It was pretty dark outside but she strongly agreed it was way undercooked. They were out of the fish, so the menu becomes pretty small with choices gone. Haven used to have a shrimp and polenta that was very nice, but it's no longer on the menu. I ordered a blue cheese burger with no bun and it was really nothing special. We tried the specialty drinks, one with hibiscus which was very peppery and the paradise was too heavy on the ginger, so it went back. I asked for a simple cosmo, easy on the lime and it came back with a "pucker your lips punch you in the face" lime disaster. Everyone at the table agreed it was the opposite of what we asked for and our wonderful server swears he said lite lime... not sure if this was a blip or the "new" Haven but with so many other great choices, we probably will skip it in the future.

I should have done my due diligence. This place is not good for children. I thought that visiting during the day would be fine for bringing my kids. Our server was nice. The hostess was a bit sharp and I could tell she was annoyed by 4 year old being a bit energetic (I get it) but for him to be scolded by her was not cool. Been here many times and will continue to do so but I’ll make sure to remind her to be kind to children. When I made my reservation I confirmed and had asked if the restaurant could accommodate my kids. I’ve seen kids have melt downs or mania at restaurants and by no means was my son anywhere near that level of energy.

Interesting place with great food! The speed of the bar getting my beer was the only hiccup. Service was great and the mixed drinks we ordered were awesome. Overall a great spot for lunch or dinner!
Great food - service could be improved. We had two servers - the first was pretty bad however the second was really good. Hopeful and will be back to try again.

Went for my birthday, with a group of 6. Thank goodness for reservations! The food was amazing, drinks were fresh and the service was amazing. 11/10!
We had dinner at Haven Craft for our anniversary. The wait staff was very attentive and worked as a team. When our skillet cornbread took longer than expected they let us know of the delay and apologized. It was truly worth the wait. The Hanger steak was the best I’ve ever tasted. I will definitely order it again. My husbands rib eye cut like butter and cooked perfectly. We had a wonderful dining experience.
The host did a great job managing all the reservations. I could hear him enforcing a cancellation for a late arrive (over 20 minutes late to her reservation). But ultimately was able to find her a table. Our waitress seemed annoyed but maybe that’s because the restaurant was busy. The street the restaurant is on is closed down and so it’s great to not eat around cars driving by.
Menu is limited to a few items. The hangar steak, gnocchi, chicken and hamburger were all good.

We made reservations and when we arrived we spoke to the hostess and she told us to go to the end of the line and she would seat us in order. I received a text while in line telling me my table was ready and to see the hostess. She was shocked by the text and had no reason for making us wait in line. Once we were seated the wait staff was very attentive and helpful throughout our meal. Unfortunately, due to COVID the menu is not as robust as normal, we will go back when the menu is complete. Food and drinks were above average.
We love haven! Always great food and fantastic service! Highly recommend for any occasion and/or meal!

We have been to Haven Craft many times and it had a pleasant experience. This evening, with many open tables they sat us right next to the hostess station with individuals coming in and out. Even with Covid there were plenty of other tables available. Our wait person was preoccupied and it took us an inordinate amount of time to receive items at all. In addition it took another inordinate amount of time to receive our check. It will be a while before we go back.
some of the best pasta and steak ive ever had. home made ice cream was to die for. service and ambiance were both great, love the outdoor area and really hope it stays.

I have enjoyed eating at Haven. There are always innovative new foods and a good collection of beers on tap. It’s all outdoor dining now and I had a good experience with that. My food and the service were good. I’ll keep coming back.
The food and drinks were wonderful! The chef made a special fig tart appetizer that was sooooo good! Overall experience made it a fabulous night with friends. Will be back.
Dinner was just ok, we ordered the burrata app which came with only 2 pieces of very burnt toast, we requested more and it took about an hour to arrive. I wanted a salad but kale was the only option - no lettuce offered. Our entrees were fine, but dinner for 4 was $250, definitely not worth it, I don’t think we will be going back.

I reserved a table for 4 under my name and when we arrived they told us that someone had called to change it from 4 people to 2 people. How is that possible when I never did that? And they happened to seat that party under my exact name. It was not a good experience and they made it seem like we did something wrong. They need to learn to take ownership that someone messed up and rectify it, but they did not. We had to wait about 15 minutes for them to find a table for us.
The service was terrible. The waiter seemed annoyed and we felt rushed. Food was very mediocre too.
Love how they’ve transformed Downtown Orange to a fantastic outdoor dining experience! Service was great even during a very busy night. Was disappointed though with the reduced menu and not really allowing for a lot of variation in menu items. The server explained the philosophy of the owner regarding food selections and what the chef will offer. I have noticed that during covid, some restaurants have minimized their menu selections so I guess it’s just a reality we need to adjust to right now. All that said, food was great, beer was great and service was superb. A good dining choice if you find something you like on the menu.
Great job on your outdoor dinning. I like your menu. And the rib eye was very tasty. If you have not been to the Orange plaza you need to check it out. The city and the business have worked out a nice program to allow a safe and healthy dining and shopping.
Even in the middle of a pandemic this chef and crew is innovating and delivering incredible food and cocktails. Yay!!!
We went for brunch. Loving the whole Paseo Orange thing. We were seated in the patio. Our server was awesome and funny. Our drinks stayed filled. We got the burrata appetizer. This is a must get! Creamy cheese, peppery arugula, sweet nectarines, spicy chili oil.. so well balanced. We all got the steak and eggs bc someone had posted a review that they dreamed of it after having it. It really was perfect. We finished with the butter cake (better than Mastros!) And strawberry ice cream. Such a fantastic lunch. My friends were there for first time, it won't be their last. Converted 2 more people to love this place.
Food was amazing. Had the grilled octopus and kale salad. Also tried the fried mushrooms. Would go back again.

Outdoor dining at Haven during these Covid-19 days was fantastic. The grilled octopus was fantastic, just like in Barcelona. And my blue cheese burger was really great.
Haven Craft was great. The service was good and the manager came by the table and was very nice. I especially like how they change their menu often. Will definitely be back.
