Salmon Pan Seared
poached egg with freshly seasoned avocado spread on wheat toast
sauted mushrooms & cream sauce, garlic mashed potatoes
Overall it was a good experience. To be honest, I thought the view was going to be better based on the website description. The menu is a small selection, but my party of 5 all enjoyed their meal. The portions are not big, but a decent meal. We celebrated my daughter's birthday. Although they did not have a complimentary dessert for birthdays, our server Domas bought out a sparkle and they sang and put birthday music on which was something at least. Overall, I would visit again, because it was still a nice experience, although slightly disappointed we did not get a window seat.
Awesome experience! Good good, good price and great vibe!
It was a wonderful - almost secret place to dine. We loved the ambience, the service and the food!
We have dined here several times over the years, usually before a theatrical event. We went there again on Saturday, March 7th. The avocado and crab appetizer was outstanding as was a perfectly cooked salmon entree. A ziti dish was fine and a margherita pizza was as well. It's a bit hard to see the entrance from the street and you have to thread your way through a restaurant and bar area to get to the elevator for the ride to the roof. The place was lively and the music on the loud side (I suppose both to cater to a young crowd).
Coming from a broadway show, the expectation was for this to be a great dinner. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was a little loud, but it was Saturday night and there is a bar so we knew what to expect. Service was amazing, and Stephen was very attentive as well. The young lady who helped while he was on break was awesome also though I feel terrible that I can’t think of her name. Between the salmon and the steak, there was nothing disappointing on the plates. The guacamole was very good and tasted fresh. The creme brûlée was insane. Both the depth of flavor as well as the presentation was off the hook.
You can’t see much of it from street side, but believe me, it’s worth the trip up the tiny NYC elevator to the roof to spend an evening at Haven.
We had a good time. We ate fried calamari and the Mojitos were great. They brought shot skis out which was a fun 1st. Would go out there again.
Honestly, Axel knocked it out of the park. We had the BEST everything. We’re on our honeymoon and we plan to come back, maybe tonight! 10/10 recommend going and enjoy the best experience, while also GORGEOUS, and being in the heart of NYC.

Girls Day Out!!!
Our waiter Stephen was PHENOMENAL
Amazing crab Benedict and truffle fries. Services was ok, but not very attentive.
We expected a more romantic place for our 50th anniversary. It was ok but not what we expected. For our anniversary the waiter handed me something and it erupted with sparkles. Wrong place for romantic dinners but the location really could be great.
Took my wife for her birthday. Not as good a view as I had imagined. Food was good not great. My Havenly chicken was dry. Beer was good. Service was ok. Overall not a great bang for the buck.. I probably would not return..
Fantastic place. I've worked on 47 for almost 10 years and only after moving out of NY and coming back as a tourist I discovered this amazing place. Wish it happened 10 years ago. Beautiful rooftop view of NYC.
It was ok. Service was nice. Friendly. Our order didnt come out right which is fine. They just forgot the sides. Not a huge deal. We started with the "Freshly Baked Bread Basket" for $12. I dont recommend. It was a basket of 6 small chocolate croissants. Sounds lovely but how are 2 ppl going to eat 6 croissants when they are cold hard and not good. There was nothing fresh about them. And I never complain about food. Or desserts. Not what I was expecting but it doesnt specify what type of bread so I probably should of asked. Avocado toast was delicious. Never got side of bacon even though we asked. My boyfriend had the lobster roll and it was good. Its very pretty inside so if you are going for a bday or large group definitely try it out.
It was a birthday dinner and the table was extremely small and we were seated in the middle of the restaurant. I’d asked prior with the reservation to make sure I had the best table but that was not honored. The staff attempted to relocate us to a different table however it was just as small. I would not recommend this place.
Great food and deinks!!!
Food was good but a bit rushed. Had a 7:30 reservation and we were done by 8:15. Sat there after paying bill just to make a little bit more out of the night. Food was good though. One thing though... two men Kept walking past our table and staring at us and the food and kept taking every single dish away that was not being used, even though I still could have probably used it for something. It just seemed very rushed and pressured.
The wait to go upstairs to rooftop takes forever because coat check is so slow. And you apparently have to go up with the hostess. Waiter kept standing behind me and leaving on chair so I had to awkwardly crank my body and head around to speak to him.
Loved the food and atmosphere
This is a lower level rooftop off of Times Square. You will not have a good view from this restaurant if that is what you are looking for.
